We may not have played the way we would all like to see Celtic play tonight but you can’t say that the players didn’t dig in and get the result, that’s the difference from away games in Europe for years Bhoys and Ghirls, like it or lump it Lenny’s teams get the job done away from home..
Who are Rangers playing in their Champions League play-off?

If Wilson is away, push the boat out for a Marc Rieper – play him with Virgil or Charlie. Get in Finnbogason. Job done.

OK– calming down now a bit.
Yes the pitch was duff– absolutely awful and that was a factor.
To those who have pointed out our record in competitive games– yip you have a point— it is a results business.
Re Kelvin– if the big man is going the there is more wheeling and dealing to be done and we need to add some personnel with quality and ambition– maybe even a wee bit of experience too.
In dire need of a beer and …… well lets not go there!

My but that was nervy stuff. The pitch for me was a leveller and brought us down a few rungs. The main thing is that we’re through to the play offs though with so many personnel changes now I’ll not be counting my chickens on us getting through.
Hopefully Neil has something up his sleeve re additions.
But we did it, despite that clearly horrendous pitch.
Big HH to big Kelvin – been a big fan of his the past 2 seasons, and sorry to see him go. We’ll miss him as much as any of the other departures imo, mibbes even more I wonder.
Actually I was comfortable in thinking he’d be one of the long term members, but obviously personal reasons have made it otherwise, so best of luck to the big fella.
Wee Jimmy’s boots seemed to be the only ones compatible with that artificial surface tonight – am wondering if the Swedish Jim Jeffries had sprayed it with low strength KY Jelly, or watered down essential oils before kick off.
Either that or Chico Mulgrew was wearing too much Bryl Cream tonight to help manage Quiff 2013 :)

My thoughts are – two years back we would be cursing and swearing how unlucky we were as we would have been pappd out and looking to Europa.
We are certainly are more experienced at handling these situations.

agree with some posts, PL time to show Lenny some PROPER backing and give him some decent cash, I understand we cant get the REAL quality players that some leagues can attract but we should still be able to bring in a couple of decent defenders, a midfielder to hold the field and a proven goalscorer
but i’m affraid the longer Lenny has success on a shoestring the longer the money men will keep the coffers locked away
Our 2 best players sold yet we have still put ourself in a great position to qualify for the CL that’l do for me ,before we got pumped 3-0 by Sion remember I’l take a crap performance and go through any day of the week
Philbhoy, if you spent more time reading my posts and less time typing faster than me, then you would already know the answer to your own question!

Hopefully we can put that behind us and look forward to the next qualifying round with a couple of fresh faces and Derk providing some competition for places.
Meanwhile we don’t need major rework on our stadium.
Our board and management team are firmly in place.
We have money to invest in players.
We have the prospect of major fixtures in Paradise.
Cover our losses if we don’t make the group stages. Honestly some of you guys need to get a grip on basic finances!!!

Why are we selling our centre half? Are you being serious?
He wants to go, we’ve signed his replacement and banked £2 million.
You truly are a daftie.
And still we won, we are in the draw, can ask no more.
Well okay, we could, but we’re through!
A step closer to the CL group stages, and at least Europa League.
What’s not to like.
Philbhoy, you beat me to it… as I was typing!

Thought the bhoys did well tonight, to play crap and still go through is a good sign.
Goodbye Kelvin, now get a CB,DM and at least one striker, and get Broonie on RM and Joe LM.
