There was some misunderstanding that Charles ‘Emerald’ Green’s suggestion that he was hoping to “invest in the playing side right away” might not play well with major creditor HMRC. Capital introduced to the company after a CVA has nothing to do with a creditor’s assessment of the offer and, if anything, would offer comfort to HMRC that the company would be able to maintain future payments.
The comments are more of a challenge for the football authorities. The independent SFA appellant panel will today assess whether to increase, reduce of remove Rangers 12 month player registration embargo. Rangers narrative for the last two weeks is that this embargo could put them out of business. Apparently, they need to spend MORE money in future to ensure survival.
It remains to be seen if playing victim does them any good at appeal but Green has brushed this away, Rangers now plan to put a team on the field to win the league and reach the Champions League. Maybe not the wisest PR move.
John O’Hara, the Celtic secretary, had been unable to lure Kelly. Glass, however, was indefatigable and said he had ‘camped on his doorstep’. The 22-year-old was talked into taking part in Celtic’s first ever match, a 5-2 win over Rangers. ‘No Kelly, no Keltic’ became a catch phrase summary of the towering centre half’s significance. ‘I knew that if I could get Kelly, the rest would follow’, said Glass.

The huns intimidation process continues……

Agreed, but I did reference Seville and I still think we forgot that there were a few ‘not so goods’ in MoN’s first season at CP e.g. bobby petta who played 10/12 decent games , and if my memory serves me correctly signed an improved contract .
Also guys like Mahe and Burchill were still around at MoN’s tea.
Maybe they weren’t his signings, nor first choice, but I would rather have Aiden or Naka on the bench before them or Berkovic

Was at that game also, could’nt move. Can also remember the reception he got when he scored, but what I remember most was the two ladies who walked around the stadium wearing the Hoops and Liverpool kit with the European cup, ok for a 10 year old!
Still got the ticket stub and programme.
No to Newclub

Re King Kenny.
I can remember the day he left Celtic for Liverpool. I was 7 years old and I was at my gran’s getting ready for school when the news came through on the radio. I’m not ashamed to admit that I burst into tears!

I don’t believe for one minute he’s actually sitting in the same room that the appeal is being hear in.
More stage-managed attention seeking me thinks.

It is very interesting Rangers have not played by the rules since Craig Whyte took over at the club and have clearly failed to pay there tax.Now during the Sir David Murray years they are charged with cheating the tax man by useing EBTs for paying wages. So why would you ever think they have changed now when they are in such a desperate state ? the old saying says a leopard will never change its spots. H.H.
Ragers have shown that they do what they want ,when they want and no one in Scottish football will do sod all about it .

Spiers and the greatest ever ranger are clearly lovers.
For every reasonable thing he comes up in his role as journalist he then , several times over, produces hisr rewriting of RFC(IA] history to appeal to the deluded masses.
They are “really good guys” boring nonsense.
Spiers you are bigger fraud thsn SDM.

Totally agree about Aiden but, was Naka anymore consistent than than the player you mentioned Bobbt Petta ?
Bobbt Petta=Bobby Petta
leftclickctic. I agree with what your saying we must keep the spotlight trained on them it is our only hope of getting any kind of justice. What surprises me is that some on CQN are surprised at the proceedings.H.H.
Thanks for sorting the necessary Paul.
First time post! A proud moment after a long time lurking!!
Given the treatment that was dished out to IstanbulCelt earlier in the day, I feel compelled to point out that I am not a Hun!!

The ONLY time that I have seen any group of people standing up to the huns was, when Celtic fans fought back and, chased the hun-hordes off the Hampden pitch @ 1980 SCF.
I am of the opinion that if they are delaying the appeal announcement until next week, it can only be bad news for Rangers.
And I am content enough to wait for that particular skeleton to fall out of their rotten cupboard safe in the knowledge it won’t be the last one!
HH
STV reported that there were reports Green was inside Hampden. May have missed it, but was he spotted arriving? If he is confirmed as being at Hampden, was he in the meeting? My instinct doesn’t say bad news, it says that Green will be, in the next week, doing a very good impersonation of someone walking away. Further, all thems have at the moment, all they have, is access to hope. Green, and some new-found friends in the media, are portraying him very well, as the harbinger of maybe, the ‘we’ll be ok’ possibilities. Spin, well-spun – that’s all it is. Announcement of appeal result next week, bad news for thems, then the Mark Daly documentary and resultant explosions and the fallout will then include an SPL vote to reject newco.
Momentum. Slow just now, but next week’s huge.
Thanks for sorting the necessary Paul.

Glad to see i’m not the only new poster today.
Welcome….although i have only been here a day myself!!

Yes he was. Naka was a genius and it was a pleasure and a privilege to watch him play. More consistent than Petta by a factor of mullions.
Good evening friends and Happy Ascension Thursday Eve
Maley75,
So….volunteering up front ‘I am not a hun’….methinks you doth protest too much and certainly too soon.
Don’t think for a minute that this will save you from the ole CQN lie detector test.
Unless you get 40+ points on the Friday night quiz then you are definitely rumbled…
Maley75
In denial of being a hun.

Best player seen in a Celtic shirt was Lubo.
Aaah! you must have missed me in my 1985,replica,100th Scottish Cup Final top then.
The fact that even a suggestion of the SFA Appeal decision being held over to till after the CF, due to fears of civil disorder, is considered feasible, should be ample reason for any civilised society to cry, “Enough”.
When are these people going to be faced down?
They are totally corrupt and if they are tolerated any further, they will be seen to blatantly corrupt Scottish society.
They will strut the stage with impunity.
If they, as expected, go on the rampage in their own country, then let the forces of the Law deal with them.
If the police can’t handle them, then bring in the underfunded Army.
Way back, when the cracks started to become obvious at Ibrox, I forecast that it would end up on the streets.
I could see no way that the Rangers organisation, from top to bottom, would accept their fate.
Unfortunately, that seems to be about to unfold.
The club and their media mouthpieces have stirred the inbuilt fury of the terracing fodder and people who should have known better did nothing to support justice or even civic responsibility.
I fear for the people of Scotland, but how much longer are these people to be appeased?
God help us all.
And here was me thinking that Bobby Petta was a sex aid, that was until I discovered Smirnoff
Hail Hail

Maley 75…..if I don’t call you a bhun in the near future, you’ll be OK …… I’m the official CQN bhun / fud detector ……. LOL
Kev jungle,
Agree both were inconsistent , but, IMHO Petta was more so.
Life could be very different if Naka was in Seville and took that free kick we had in the last few minutes ….then again , it could have been very different again if BBJ wasn’t injured and Lubo hadnt left …or Rankers had paid their taxes :-)
BRTH:
Ultimately all these comparisons of the greats: Ali V Joe Louis. Maradona v Pele. Clark v Fangio. Nicklaus v Woods. Federer v Laver etc, is purely academic.
We will never know.
Right now we should just enjoy Federer-Nadal-Djokovic. Hope Tiger gets back to his magnificent best. McIIroly. Messi. Floyd Mayweather. Manny Pacquiao. And the greatest athlete in history: Usian Bolt.
We should just enjoy them for what they are.

In my book, if you’re smart enough to use google then you obviously must be a Tim.
Use of google certainly seems to be beyond the Ibrox boardroom occupants or the hun MSM.
