Ex-ref taunts Neil Lennon with ‘explodes’ remark

1244

I think I live in a different world than some people.  In my world the manager of Celtic has endured an incredibly stressful month.  Yesterday he would have dealt with news from a serious criminal trial after a bomb was sent to him.

Today he is being taunted in a newspaper by a former referee who suggests he “explodes at the side of a park”.  Even for a former SFA official, this is astonishingly poor taste.  The article goes on to betray enormous hostility towards Neil Lennon and, for reasons which appear opportunistic, Peter Lawwell.

Our manager will get through these difficult weeks and will hopefully never have to endure such stresses again.  SFA officials, current or past, cannot meaningfully lay a glove on him.  He can pay their fines and will continue to manage a winning Celtic team.

Apart from Bain asking that a letter be shredded, I don’t think I know any more than I’ve read on this site the past few months – or am I missing something?

More interested in what was said between Sally and Neil – what’s the latest? No time to search back.

Are we to believe that company secretaries wouldn’t have seen both contractual and discretionary contracts?

  14. C4 have their teeth right into this now. Clearly they have lots of documents and clearly there is more to come. The Scottish press are panicking – they are exposed, As are the SFA. Rangers will clearly lose the tax case and these revelations regarding their directors and their behaviour is dynamite.

  15. Celtic are by far the biggest Scottish football club, although the huns are the biggest in Scotland.

Outside of Scotland the huns aren’t much bigger than Coventry, Preston, etc.

Outside of Scotland Celtic are still one the biggest clubs in the world.

Im sure someone could post Hugh Adams statement from the late 90’s, were he admits that outside of Scotland the huns have very little support.

  16. I can exclusively reveal that Chic Young did not watch tonight’s Channel 4 news. This is because Chick has never heard of Channel 4.

  17. It was previously reported,by MSM, that only players/employees on £5k per week and over were involved in the EBT system. Now if John Grieg was being paid that amount for his shake your hand duties on match days then Murray was a very generous man. Appears to me that even people on low level salaries were part of the tax evading scheme.

  18. Well done Alex Thompson.

I want an EBT for Christmas (or maybe just a trip to Baxendale- Walker’s office) :-).
