Ex-ref taunts Neil Lennon with ‘explodes’ remark

1244

I think I live in a different world than some people.  In my world the manager of Celtic has endured an incredibly stressful month.  Yesterday he would have dealt with news from a serious criminal trial after a bomb was sent to him.

Today he is being taunted in a newspaper by a former referee who suggests he “explodes at the side of a park”.  Even for a former SFA official, this is astonishingly poor taste.  The article goes on to betray enormous hostility towards Neil Lennon and, for reasons which appear opportunistic, Peter Lawwell.

Our manager will get through these difficult weeks and will hopefully never have to endure such stresses again.  SFA officials, current or past, cannot meaningfully lay a glove on him.  He can pay their fines and will continue to manage a winning Celtic team.

  1. Murray would not speak, out of his comfort zone as I wasn’t Chic Young that he would have been speaking to.Their greatest ever named as a recipient maybe easier to name who wasn’t involved, surely now the SFA must act

  2. msm will never turn on rangers no matter what, individuals will be blamed

but it was not rangers fault that will be their line.

    Merci beaucoup, OG !!!

  4. I would imagine that the peeps at RFC & SFA will be scouring through the files to cross check if this “Email” was part of the documentation passed across.

So many cowards afraid of telling the truth and being stupid enough to think that they could suppress it and ridicule the “paranoid” people who fought to get it out there.

And let’s not forget our very own Terry O…keep up the good fight !

  7. The Baxendale YouTube/Garden Interview were the best bits.

His louche mouth was loose and to the point: the actions of

Rangers FC were derelict and illegal and against all advice sought from

he a disbarred tax lawyer turned porn star/producer.

That’s what happens when false tan, follicly challenged ex male models

  8. I heard some interesting things earlier this week from someone connected to one of the bidders. Seems Agent Whyte and Agent Ellis may have a role to play in the Club 9 bid for the Scottish Titanic. They see this apparently as the best means of emerging from the current situation with some cash. Also that there is a lot more to the debts than is commonly known and that the investment position is only for those with money to burn. I know we all know this but it was interesting hearing it the way it was put over to me. It also appears that our club is much more active behind the scenes on how any future position would play out and on the need for European exclusion.

  9. El Diego Bhoy –

Either side may appeal the decision on a point of law. However, for Rangers to do so then, strictly, they must first pay the tax that’s in dispute. This is to stop appellants simply appealing for the sake of it.

  11. The more and more the spl and sfa drag their feet when thousands of people all over the uk know what went on at ibrokes to avoid paying tax and 2 contracts.Neil Doncaster and Stewart regan will bring Scottish football to the gutter as they sit on there lazy backsides. The 2 association are meant to run football for all the teams in Scotland, not to protect 1 and allow them to break every rule in the book.BY there in action they both deserve to fall on their own swords as guilty as the 1s who committed the breaches of the rules.

The sooner we leave this fixed set up the better.

Who would ever have thought the world of tax was so excitingly melded with the hard core porn industry?

Paul Baxendale Walker looks like a mutant hybrid of Donald Findlay and Giovanni Von Bronkhurst- what kind of sick Frankenstein experiments were taking place at the skidbowl? I always believed Hateley was a mutant. With that big watermelon forehead and those baboon arms. Let this be a lesson to us all: CHILDREN- DO NOT PLAY WITH LABORATORY CHEMICALS.

  15. Craig Whyte must have been delighted with C4’S report as he is the man who came in and cleaned up Rangers. Well done Craig!

  16. So I take it whoever leaked this stuff wasn’t on an EBT then?? Must have felt left out.

    Another excellent comment.

Even tonight they were trying to belittle Terry by saying he was consumed by hatred of Rangers when he has pointed out that all he wants is fairness for all.

Every single one of them are despicable beings, even the ones who sound ok at times.

They are literally selling themselves to the devil/money. Hell will not mend them, even if they did play for Celtic – Charlie Nicholas.

I trust C4 are just getting started, more to follow next week.

Martin Bain and John McLelland both sat on the SPL board as directors.

Both knew that rangers players were being paid a second wage under the EBT. They knew the club was in breach of SPL rules and the players were not properly registered, yet they chose not to disclose this information to the othe SPL board members.

    open and shut case

the cheats are bang to rights and the spl investigation has only one decision to make

  23. Watching a programme called ‘Best of Brazil’ on ITV4. Following a goal from the 1974 World Cup, David Coleman remarks, ‘Rivelinho, the Brazilian bender does it again’. Can anyone assist as to how this ought to be interpreted? At first blush it appears actionable.
