  1. Mark \o/ McGhee's \o/ Eyeliner \o/ AKA Mark Guidi on

    Well done Bhoys

    The thunder keeps on rollin’

    Hail hail

    MME

  2. Well done stokesy, brilliant free kick and brilliant play from hooper to set up the crucial 3rd goal. When they both play Celtic win! simples!!!!!!

by the way how many do falkirk get to handle the ball in their box without giving away a penalty?

We made hard work of that in the 1st half but did the business where it mattered most.

Haver a feeling we are still playing within ourselves, we have room to improve and the squad to do so.

Can we mention a treble yet? next 2 weekends will really show us how good this squad is.

    Hail Hail

  3. James Forrest is Lennon on

Hard to keep up sometimes when I’m doing ten different things at once lol.

It’s a joke though, isn’t it? A Falkirk player. The funereal atmosphere in the commentary box since that goal is palpable.

Anyway … we’re in a final (again) and we’ve signed a new striker!

    Life could be worse!

  4. We have a young team, and drops in performance and concentration like parts of today are to be expected.

But that is 14 wins in a row. A tremendous record by anyone’s reckoning. Also three finals in three attempts from Neil.

We will need to be better to beat Hearts at Tynecastle, but we have the players and the squad to win the treble.

  5. Sweet.

Well done Neil, well done Celtic.

(don’t forget the good goal chopped off lads)

  6. MOM for me was Hooper

Defence was a shambles …. Mulgrew was posted missing at LB

    Some individually poor performance

However enough chances to win 2-3 games

In the final …. All that matters

  7. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

How has that Clarke erriksson stayed on the park, how many bookings are they allowed

  8. Now then,

    The Treble is on.

Well Done! Lenny & The Bhoys

A great penalty from Broonie, a terrific free kick and goal from Stokesy

    Happy today

  9. Eyes Wide Open on

Forster – 7. Crucial double block, distribution lets him down too often

Cha – 5. Pace is the name of the game in modern football – Cha is evidence as to why this is wrong. Not a good footballer

Izaguirre – 6. Even when he is off the pace he is still better than some others. Not sure Id have hooked him because other fitter players were having worse games

    Rogne – 7 Solid

Mulgrew – 6. Positionally never seems to be in the right place at the right time when we are defending en mass

Brown – 7. Good game, had a very good 1st half. William Dodds when commenting on him says he can see a pass. I noted his choice of words, from pick a pass or pass the ball

Wanyama – 5. Kids need one of those shockers from time to time, just to refocus the mind and get them out of their comfort box. A wee rocket from the management afterwards will work wonders for our Victor.

Forrest – 6. He needs to stop wailing his arms all around him and start to track and work back more instead. I hope Lenny has a word in his ear because its creeping into his game more and more imo

Ledley – 6. Typically Ledley – quiet but effective.

Hooper – 8. Controverial rating Il accept, I just thought he played like an experienced, seasoned pro today. When others around him were flapping and hitting passes all over the shop he was incredibly composed all throughout the game. Touches and movement very good, rarely wasted a ball.

Stokes – 7. The good, bad and ugly all in one today. Was one of the most complacent in the 1st half, improved in the 2nd and did exactly what he loves to do – score easy goals and free kicks (well dont Broonie for keeping the pen from him btw!)

  10. good win bhoys, 13 and counting. made heavy weather of it though, big vic had one to forget and wee james hid. on to the next game bhoys,

    hail hail!!

  11. Snake Plissken on

Falkirk Motm says it’s always hard against the Old firm.

I thought Celtic were playing today.

  12. Well done Celtic.

C’mon lets get Fraser Forster signed up asap. Rogne very good performance.

Falkirk a very good team, Would beat alot of the SPL teams.

  13. CultsBhoy loves being 1st on

not a stellar performance but never doubted the outcome….we play so-so and win 3-1…just about right for a plucky Falkirk..

  14. Jeeez,

….some of these huns pile the pressure on and make out all Celtic need to do is turn up and score bucket loads…..

Tough shift, Falkirk are half decent.

    (I’m taking about Shortbread, obviously)

  15. Neil Lennon is ainm dom (nohunlover) on

Hope we sign up big Fraser soon, those saves before our third were important. Having a keeper who is better than average is important. I don’t think MON would have lost any trophies if he had had a top quality keeper with us.

The thing about semi-finals is that you have to win them. We did that, and, as a result we are in the final. And that, is what it’s all about!

  18. CultsBhoy loves being 1st on

I share your view of Cha..he’s not for me. Adams every time …

  19. tommytwiststommyturns on

James – the treble is still on and as you say, we’ve got a new striker option.

This team is still too Jeckyll and Hyde for my liking, but they’ve got it within them to improve markedly.

  21. mncelt standing up for Neil Lennon on

Good win – The Bhoys did well today – Semi’s are always tough. I know that everyone said they would be taking Falkirk seriously but it is always in the back of your mind that you can afford to play below par and still win. We weren’t in any real danger but there were a few scary moments. Well done Hooper, Brown and Rogne who were all on top of their game. Congrats to Falkirk – they played well but found themselves up against much tougher opposition than they had to beat to get this far.
