if we win the cup, Broony should lift Kenny Shields above his head

My opinion:
Dreadful: Cha
Wasteful passes, didn’t once produce a decent cross.
Poor: Izzy
Not so much at the goal, but more his general play. Clearly isn’t quite there yet.
Good: Wanyama, Ledley
Vic was culpable for the Falkirk goal – he hit a few similar passes with not enough/too much on them. However, worked hard and gave 100% imo. Ledley had a dull 1st half, but became much more positively involved after the break.
Very good: Forster, Mulgrew, Forrest, Stokes
Fraser’s brilliant double save in the second half shows his game continues on its upward curve. Mulgrew looked composed throughout. Forrest was kept quiet for much of the 1st half, but adjusted his game 2nd half to link up well with Hooper and Stokes. Stokes – goal getter.
Superb: Brown
The captain was one of the best players in the 1st half – dynamic, hustling. Some good, telling passes as well.
Simply magnificent: Rogne
Winning the penalty and so nearly scoring at one end while stopping nearly everything at the other – terrific.
MOTM: Hooper
Without question, Hooper was our best player. His goal should have stood and there were numerous examples throughout of how he either won the ball or brought it down to set up attacks. His assist for the third goal was the culmination of a tireless afternoon. A performance rivalled this season only by Fraser at Udinese.

If everton have made there interest known I would be surprised if they make a bid anywhere near the figure rangers are looking for. Can’t remember the last time everton spent that kind of cash on anyone never mind on a player who’s not done anything at international level and who has regressed in European form
hampden was a ploughed field the day,Izzy certainly not back to full fitness pitch didnt help him,not a great performance, but we scored 3 and should maybe have had another 2
But we never looked like getting beat was always confident, first final of the season the trebles on

Nearly agree with you
Although I think you’re being a touch generous to Wanyama and Forrest
I thought both were poor having regard to recent form
Why would you want to delete Pressley from our record books? Not exactly Cesar when he played, but he showed commitment to the fight when he wore the Hoops.
He has his team playing the right way, whilst being hamstrung under difficult conditions. He is similar to Lenny in that he hates to lose.

Randy Marsh, I agree..There has been so much made about the rangers’ valuation of jelavic, 7 and 8 millions etc…For them in theyre current financial turmoil, to expect ANY club to pay that is incredibly naive and quite embarassing..They NEED to sell him and in my opinion, they will struggle to make any profit from a sale.
When they sell him I gaurantee it be an undisclosed fee.
Jeg er Neil Lennon-Greeninbingley on
Good to hear Rogne is coming on to his game. Saw him a couple of times for us and thought that once he settled he wd be a player.
Also loads of people over here (norway) were mystified as to him not getting a game – the consensus here is that he is class.
Listened to game on Shortbread, hard to tell when Celtic scored as their was no noticeable voice inflection.”Stokes tap in” was the dead pan delivery. High pitched voices as Falkirk score an exceptional goal.
Continual score reminders of Falkirk v Celtic. Were they the home team? Of course the final is “Kilmarnock v Celtic”
Constant praise for the young Falkirk team. Celtics average age was younger.
No acceptance of the first half penalty, Murdo excepted.
“Never a penalty,.though I did not see who was involved.”
“Think it was Stokes. They both went to ground soft penalty.”
Now I see Wanyama is taking criticism…dearie me, did anyone think that a 20 year old can maintain the early form he has shown? He is another 3-4 years away from maintaing any sort of form.
Dear Rob McLean, just in case you didn’t notice the plucky underdogs got spanked 3-1 and in reality it could have been more why don’t you takes this opportunity to order yourself a set of Kenny Shiels Ears online @ earsrus.com then you can hear the Celtic Support singing in triumph…

good to see rob mclean’s wee hurting bake at the end there
Pat Nevin is sure he might have seen a tricoloured flag in the crowd and he had a text from his son saying the colours hurt his eyes. Rob MacLean apologises on behalf of all God fearing eyes. Pat rips his shirt to shreds screaming into the camera – ‘I will not rest until all manner of whataboutery has been displayed in a futile hope that the green yins will wither and die or at least be castigated – did I mention my son only learned to say IRA through Celtic supporters singing about them? Oh the humanity!’
In other news Michelle Mone revealed she might leave Scotland because Celtic player, Charlie Mulgrew’s parenting skills have left her despairing for humanity – she also added that an independent Scotland would result in ‘Everything going up.’

Good one to get out of the way.
Performance patchy, but class told.
Bit better second half, with the midfiels boosted.
I agree with that, but there’s no denying he was awful today, along with one or two others.
The criticism handed out to certain players during the game was largely warranted, and certainly not hyperbolic.
There’s nothing to be gained from comments which lack objectivity.

Wanyama dipped a lot, it’s true, but he should never be the player to carry this team on his shoulders – that’s Brown’s job, and he produced the kind of captain’s performance that was needed. Forrest – I suppose it depends what you want from players; winning free kicks and neat passing are just as important as beating your man or producing a decent cross imo.

I would suggest Mr Shiels has a bigger problem with his mouth than his ears..
well done Celts
Big Rogne is looking like a right good player …my MOTM
Broony led superbly and took the penalty well
ghoops was industrious and more mobile than normal
stokesy had a great free-kick and tap in
Ki, Charlie, Joe, Big Fraser all solid and pass marks
Vic 67 out of sorts in last two games
Cha -has his moments
Izzy clearly needs more time
Jamesy some nice touches but expecting more on the big pitch
Kris -could have scored and gets into good positions
overall we seem to lack a spark…ponderous…(maybe that’s too strong a word) I sometimes wonder if every player is burting a gut for the result
Owen Coyle had it right: we need to move the ball around much, much more quickly and we will expose these teams
Credit where it’s due – our young team into a final and possible treble
Glad I have a few quid on that wee prile @ 6-1 :-)

Go on Reds…North London’s Finest…
I hope Izzy can come back to where he was before he got Player of the Year, I feel his games need to be carefully picked.
Can we delete pressley from our record books. He gives a retard a bad name.
Stokes or Rogne for mom 4 me. Rogne has been outstanding lately.
Well – Winston Bergkamp Gemmell will be over the moon – looking like a Real, Celtic and Arsenal treble…
