We are only two days away from the 9 in a row CQN Open, which again takes place at Aberdour Golf Club in Fife. This year our guest of honour is Lisbon Lion, Willie Wallace. We have already raised over £2000 from a shirt auction and raffle (thank you very much to all who participated) but we have a quick opportunity for you to win a signed Celtic strip in a raffle, ending on Saturday.
Tickets cost £1, if you can afford £1, get involved here. Proceeds go towards 1254125, which is a crucial part of orientating the Celtic Movement in the direction of our founding fathers.
Willie Wallace will be at the Celtic Store, Argyle St, for late night shopping, from 5.30-7.30 pm tomorrow (Thursday) night. Where you can buy a signed copy of his book and have a chat with the man himself. Bring a camera.
Immediately after leaving the Celtic Store tomorrow Willie and Brogan Rogan (and a pile of books) are heading to the Greenock Celtic Supporters’ Club for a CQN Question and Answer evening. Entry costs £2 (all of which is going to our charity causes). DON’T FORGET YOUR CAMERA!!
I know many of you have read Brogan Rogan but if you’ve not seen him and Willie Wallace in action, get along tomorrow, it will be another classic Celtic night. Tickets are available at the door.
Thanks to everyone who helped organise all of these events, more on that later.

Scottish Fitba in the 90’s….Was WAY ahead of the Curve….
If you had (privileged) access to free money and all the rest of the toxic derivatives that the World market was later willing to accept as legitimate….You were a Made Man Inside the Loop…The Mint knew this as did his cohorts in the banking system. They ruined the National Game due to their envy, avarice and pride. Scotlands’ Fitba history at the end of the twentieth century is best characterized by such dominant negative traits….And so we find ourselves in this painful conundrum…
What a Patronizing Pile of Shite the MINT and the tabloid MSM demanded we swallowed…
And we did…..
Yes.
We All Did…
Even if it was momentarily… we swallowed it.
Now THINK………
What are we Swallowing Currantly….?
The same shit, or something more elegant, or base.
WHY?
Cuz We Are Junkies For Tradition & History
Roll On The Future….
Only Time Can Tell What That Entrails…..

I would accept £5 million for Hooper if he does not want to stay, especially when he is in final year of contract. However, he won’t go to the likes of Hull in my opinion, he will have a say in where he goes in that if he does fancy a particular Club he will sit tight until January.
Keep the Faith!

Good Morning,
Does anyone else find it interesting that amid the revolutionary changes brought in the other day, that quietly and without fuss, the definition of what is and what is not a “club” has been amended?
“club” means a football club playing Association Football in accordance with the provisions
set out in Article 6 and, except where the context otherwise requires, includes the owner and
operator of such club;”
So— in the event of a future administration or indeed liquidation of a limited company which is the owner or operator of the club— does this now then mean that it is the “Club” which has gone into administration or liquidation?
Also– does the amendment hint that this is what the SFA had always intended?
It would be interesting for someone to ask those in power what caused them to alter a definition which had obviously stood for a substantial number of years?
Off to catch the fast Train to G1, catch a read of the night-shift on the journey. Have a great day Timland.
Keep the Faith!

Fantastic, Tom…
Slightly Dreich in the Chiltrns this moning…
BRTH @ 06:28,
It wouldn’t surprise me, the SFA Transfering the same licence from one Club to another seems unprecedented in World Football and the main reason why NewCo can claim to be the same Club.
So in theory any Club in Scotland could simply slip from one corporate entity to another, get their original membership of the SFA and carry on devoid of debts and other liabilities.
Thus leaving the Club to carry on regardless.
Now obviously this leaves a huge problem with moral hazard, especially as Dunfermline and possibly Hearts could look at performing the exact same phoenix in the close season.
Might be the closing of what I consider a non-existing loop-hole, although it does seem to be woolly enough to allow for the Ungrateful Dead MK II.
Hail! Hail!
GMTV just showed a piece on obesity .First up was some bloke , identity protected, walking about in a zombie top!
Never mind obesity, they should be highlighting the corruption !

Yes boy said full member of SFA and associate of SFL so no doubt they’ll become full now once league reconstruction happens.
Why are they so desperate to have full membership instead of associate though ?

Interesting question mi amigo, perhaps its a requirement to play in European football competition, in fact yes I’m sure it is.

The Herald putting a negative spin on the League merger. One assumes this merger is bad news for Sevco. I hope the zombies enjoy ‘the journey’ for the next two season’s.
Great news regarding Tom. Set’s the day up nicely.
Was also great to see Miki67 post the other day, keep it lit fellah.

Euro Under 21 .
Spagna 3 ——-Olanda 0.
A treat / a delight to watch .. Holland fielded a weakened side . Spain played tiqui taca. Great up front / great in mid field but their defense looks to be their weak point.
Germania 2 ———-Russia 1 .
Crap in comparison .
Semi Finals ——–Spagna / Norvegia
Italia / Olanda .
Sunny / hot /35 forecast /early summer —-way down south.

Great news.

If you have time scroll back and read the link posted by 16 roads, page 15 at 3:00ish very funny….
Great news Tom McG. Hope the other tests go as well. Look after yerself mate.
So far so good. New bobo and no doubt more to come after we cash in on Hooperman and Wunderyama. Let the MSM make up all the stories they want. We will be playing from a position of strength. Not long till the CL qualifiers.
The SFA , Ogerlvie etc Anyone really think that the Celtic board can dictate what happens. Sure we have clout but we are a minority in almost all things except the big cup. Give the board some credit. They have won the battles they can and played a good game. My guess is that they are working our ticket out of the SPL. It takes time and support from SFA and others. Our future will be elsewhere, the boards job is to seek those opportunities and make sure we are ready to take advantage when they come. Me , I don’t have a problem with how our club is run. All the best to WGS too, good to see him pull one out of the hat and remember Tommy Burns made him a celtic supporter. Hail Hail .
Morning all. Bright (and a bit breezy) down on the coast.
Balde signing and the likes of Ballantyne feeling sorry for themselves is just the right start to the day.
Top of the morning from sunny Gourock!
Excellent news on Tom.
Makes a sunny morning seem so much brighter. :)
