  1. H.T.

    Tears of joy.

    Yeeeessssss!!!!!!

Me and Paddy definitely want Real Madrid and Dortmund.

  2. HT- it’s brillisnt that we are Saturday -Tue/Wed for the season too , massive for bhoys and ghirls who need to travel to CP

  3. Apparently the 14% fall in the value of Sterling as a result of Brexit will result in an additional £3m for Celtic from this season’s Chsmpions League Group Stage.

There’s the money for a new right back because every team we play will target that position as our weak spot.

  4. JimmynotPaul,

That for me was the best post of the night, it simply epitomised what Celtic means to all of us.

I will sign off with that post in mind and say a special prayer that your medical results will bring you the best of news.

  5. On the subject of transfers could we please buy the tanoy announcer from HBS.

    He was amazing

DG came in from the pub, I was in the kitchen, we met in the middle of the living room and just hugged for about 30 seconds. The bond of going every week together brings that and H loves it.

Phew! coronary bypass special that was.

I hope Celtic have turned a corner now.

Time to invest in the team and sell the dross to championship teams

I Believe Brexit will be Good for the UK.

    C’mon the Celts.

  9. Madmitch –

We need TL to talk to RB and then we will have a plan to take the club forward with a bit of JK.

If we can curb the enthusiasm of HS we might end up YT with a touch of SD before the rest of the RG know that you’re a WANKER.

    GFT ya dick.

  10. See the DAVE KING ………thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

am sure it REALLY is him………ie)

  11. HT: I hope you are right about plans at CP. Irish or Scottish breakfast at 10am would do me.

Fund raising efforts going down really well here in Ireland.

Well done Dundalk tonight. Went 1-0 up away to Legia Warsaw but lost the tie 3-1 on agg.

Zybzeck: best of luck in the group stages

    DELANEYS DUNKY on 23RD AUGUST 2016 11:34 PM…

Surprised you could see through the smoke… :-)

  13. Referee didn’t help matters.

They gradually got more physical when they worked out he was going to let them away with a lot of pushing, shoving and barging.

They took advantage of this while we very hesitant.

As they say every little helps and they played more and more on the front foot.

Finally our ball retention — no pun intended Wee man — was hopeless.

We kept playing each other into trouble and then gave up trying to pass the ball entirely.

In the last quarter, when we strung three passes together we got ourselves a goal scoring chance — MD please take a bow, that shot produced the biggest cheer of the night and then the biggest groan when it did not go in.

    Great play though.

    EKBHOY….

Apologies bud , I wish I could blame the iPhone but it’s either eyesight or the swift beer or 2

Anyway I believe we agree a good collective effort to hang on

  15. The post of the night for me.

STARRY PLOUGH on 23RD AUGUST 2016 10:30 PM

The most stressful part of the season is over, we’re in the Champions League and Brendan can draw breath now having achieved what a lot of us thought was beyond him this year.

Says it all, says it clearly.

And to the trolls and huns we put up with on a daily basis, really, really, really GIRFUY!!!!!!!!!!! You must be absolutely seething, and that’s something that gladdens my heart (and my stent).

  16. From BBC so it may be true

    Celtic’s Champions League income

£2.6m for winning the play-off £10.3m for group stage participation

£10m television money £7m from gate receipts

£1.3m for group stage win £0.43m for group stage draw

  17. Corkcelt.

.That means a lot from a great Celtic man like yourself. Thank you.

    H.T.

    Thank you for sharing that.

I have a wonderful visual of you and D.G. with Minx looking over at you both showing her love and joy.

Hail Hail and once again yeeeesssss!!!!!!!!!!

re: zadoc the priest .. .I have always wondered why UEFA chose music – written for/played at British coronations – as their music.

Winning Captains , is the champions league money paid out in Euros ? So a weaker pound means a better payout ? I can’t wait to tell the Huns that in the Morning !

Now! Now! That post is unbecoming of one below my level. I’ll get back to you in a minute though. I’m just listening to Zadoc The Preist as Dermotts secretariat put me on hold while she runs to the 1st to catch him before his round of golf. I hope one day to share tea with him. Maybe even from my loving cup.

    Dave

PS. Tunes about priests. Need to get that change when I enter the Champions League next season with my team! I’ll get Mr Traynor onto that.

  22. ‘GG

We are looking @ £30M for getting through that tie.

I’m so glad I just go in to a mundane job where I have the least possible responsibility. It might be different if I was caring about the Job.

    Well Done Celtic FC

I couldnae but the weed is dynamite. Calmed a few crazyheids at half time when I passed them the stick. ;)

  24. GG @ 12.00

We need to spend the money wisely.

Make sure this extra revenue makes a difference right throughout the team.

And we need to to forget how much revenue PL’s bonus obsession cost us.
