    JNP – i’ve been before but it was a boozy lads trip about 30 years ago. I’m going with the missus this time more for a day out than anything else. I just remember it was the finest course I’ve ever been to ( I haven’t been to Goodwood).

    Folk dreaming on here of the ease of punting Boyata. If anyone bids for Boyata, whether it is 1 million or 10 million, his agent has said he won’t be leaving. He is downing tools and signing a pre-contract in January for an EPL club where he can get 50k a week. He’s not going to get that anywhere else.

     

    So we now have no hope of a transfer fee and a sulking player who is taking a wage while contributing nothing.

    I cant imagine that Boyata could legally down tools and still receive a wage?

     

    That would seem perversely unjust but i have no idea of UK employment law.

     

    As many on here are quick to laud our board on their business acumen i am sure they had the foresight and experience to foresee such circumstances.

    FAN-A-TIC – he already did it this weekend. Just makes up stories about imaginary aches and pains. Sore back, tight hamstrings etc,

     

    His agent has already said Boyata has no interest in playing afterr the Fulham bid was punted. I would bet he will soon be be told to report for training each day with the kids and we will never see him in a Celtic jersey again.

    Yes, it has gotten to the point where DD has to get involved and support both his CEO and Manager. Both highly talented guys in their own field and both great assets to Celtic.

     

     

    For all I said in the last post I hope it doesn’t come to personalities… I’m hoping the Board were just a bit blinkered in their attitude to these transfers… a “no brainer” type of approach that led to bad communications between the business and football sides…

     

     

    After all – It’s good to talk.

    We don’t have to play there until October but that was worse than Hamilton.

    Met Alfie as a daft 16yr old he took Coatbridg CC for training (I only hit a sub jersey as my 2 big brothers played for them) that’s where I met Jamie & Alan, wee Durrantys big brothers … Alfie Conn made that ameuter train like professionals as a wee bhoy it was magic :-)

    Deary me , sick to the back teeth of reading on here about ,5 ft 8 thug Naismith . 5 ft 8 for gods sake . Used to be the same with lasley at the mothers , another 5ft odd hammer thrower the wee guy at Aberdeen another giant at 5 ft 8 , now the scouser has the man to sort broonie , 5 ft 9 enforcer coulibaye. They giants of the game have our players soiling there kegs, would make you sick . Said it often , and it seems lots more of the posters on here, are now seeing we are a team of softies . Yesterday as before down Georgie rd we were bullied all over the park . They hacked and kicked our boys with ease , no retaliation , no get into them, just acceptance of what was going on . What made it worse was Naismith hovering over one of our players kicking lumps out of him , and not a team mate in sight to save the guy . That is what’s wrong with our team , they all know now how to play us . Oh for a mark reaper . Paul Elliot . Davy hay . or half a dozen from the Seville team .

    Great news that Moussa might be making the game on Tuesday. We definitely need the 3 French Bhoys out on the pitch at this testing time.

     

     

    As for Boyata, what he has done to his Manager, who has supported him fully, is despicable. There is no way back for him @ Celtic.

     

     

    Get whatever fee we can for this charlatan.

    I’d not been to the Metro for a while. The Jellies killed the place.

     

     

    I was asked to go and fight a guy running about with 2 knifes in the car park. Nah. Game over when that happened. The smarmy drug dealer left so many girls outside at the mercy of a rocket. No Wonder the mini bus driver tried to go – we stopped him.

     

     

    So many good memories from the Metro, that will be the lasting one. Unfortunately.
