IMO – ON – top technical player…If anyone think he’s not ….then so be it.
But for me ….
The Onlooker on
High press and crap pitch , crap weather.
Tynecastle is such a small pitch that it is not even UEFA compliant. All of these factors make for a tough night. We came through.
As i am far from home tonight I relied on CQN , BBC , and updates from friends and family.
I was much more confident and calm , not being able to see game. Might try it again.
Mrs Onlooker preferred it to my usual shouting at the TV
Happy with outcome.

Think many of us see what we want to see. We each have favourite players & maybe players we are not so keen on. We pick up on the good things our favs do & equally magnify any error the other ghuys do.
Personally I thought Hayes, Julien & Ajer did well. I thought Christie & James were the best of our midfield/attack.
But what the hell, we won the game by a mile & we move on.

Broony badgering the ass ref at the end! 😂😂😂😂
3 points, 2 goals to the good.
Good night’s work for me.
The other ass ref who flagged for offside…..from a passback by Hearts shouldn’t even get a junior game. But we know the reality.
Hope ST is enjoying The Dolphin, one of Canamalar’s watering holes.

That is a good result and puts us in a good position.

Huns couldn’t play tonight as the game they play on Friday is their ‘weekend’ fixture.
Once we play on Saturday they have a game in hand again.
Think they might have it next year.

The Onlooker, thanks, adds pressure. Someone on the 6th floor will get sacked for that!

Take care and get well soon!

AOW…pure unadulterated incompetence…with a wee bit of bias thrown in, methinks…
Madden gets a wee bit excited at times…

All in all, a decent night’s work…but Hearts can only improve after tonight. They surely can’t get worse…
Fred. Ditto but some people see what they want to see. While we dominated game they did get a fair bit of ball into our box. Julien & Ajer had a job to do and they did it.

Started reading back, strange how different people see a game,
Ron67 thought we looked vulnerable every time they went forward,
yet at no point did i ever think they were gonna score.
I wasn’t at the game , but noticed commentators largely ignored any good work from Jullien.
Maybe explains a lot…
What is the Stars on
Jonny Hayes man of the match…Again !!!

WTF is all the criticism with LG?
Half a dozen comments for a guy who had literally just come on???
A guy who created the winning goal v Hamilton after his cameo role last week – which meant we took to the field two points ahead tonight!!
A few Huns on here tonight methinks. Or Lawwells placemen.
Art of War on
The ‘penalty’ shout was a bit embarrassing for the commentators. Both Craigan and Stewart thought it was a foul therefore a penalty. However, when foul committed on Broony in his own box Stewart thinks he ‘bought it’. His Jamminess came out tonight.
Philbhoy on
Thanks for the updates and goal links!
Well done the Celts!!!!!

Odsonne Edouard is an absolute dream of a centre forward. Scary talent at 21
Michael Stewart let me down tonight, thought he was straight down the middle :-(
The hands cant hit what the eyes cant see on
I thought Julien had a good game. He was good positionally while Ajer went wide chasing people down the flanks; Ajer needs to be a bit more disciplined in that regard.
Ryan is wasted on the wing. We need to buy another winger.
We lost control of the game from about 65 mins onwards. Hearts didn’t have the quality to threaten but we didn’t do much from that point onwards.
Picks for tonight would be Ntcham, Broonie and CalMac.
Also, someone get Eddy to practice first time finishing. I know he has a languid style, but you don’t need three touches in the box before you take a shot.

Agree re Stewart . He talked some nonsense tonight , maybe even worse than Craigen.

Glen,
Think Stewart is too partisan to be impartial in these fixtures
The hands cant hit what the eyes cant see on
I would give Stewart the benefit of the doubt. He is a Hearts’ man after all and he watched a pretty woeful performance from his team, so I can forgive the partisanship tonight as he is the most evenhanded of all the analysts; Craigan, on the other hand, always supports our opponents.

Next year. We will have played one more game than them at the break.
And be at least 8 points clear.
On the disallowed goal , the Hearts player blocks the ball and it runs through to Callum McGregor , should that have been offside ?
Before the game, I would have bitten your arm off for a 2-0 win.
Now I feel disappointed we didn’t score at least five.
HH to all, the journey continues.
Great win….
