From a blistering hot Melbourne garden where the Guinness
is flowing freely.
43 degs predicted tomorrow, hottest December temp. on record.
But nowhere near as hot as our Celtic frontline.
Thought we could have scored a barrowload against the diets, but
a few careless misses gave them hope, but our bhoys have already
shown they have grit and determination in spades, and the three
points were always ours.
My top 3 were Jullien..Ajer..and Jonny, yes Jonny, but then i take Celtic
passion and a will to win over natural ability at times, but i luv him.

Sad to read of your continued stay in the hospital, but hopefully you
will get back to your Auld Shipbank Vaults best and continue to keep
those dancing ghirls of mine on their toes, or in your case on their
backs lol.
Paddymacoz is similarily still struggling but heading fora triple bypass
at last we newsy i heard, so prayers for both of you fine Celtic bhoys.

Goooooood morning CQN from a deliriously happy and sober Garngad
Good performance and result in which had the potential for being a banana skin.
Regarding the disallowed goal, we were told the ball came back off Nitcham.
To me it looked like as the ball left Nitchams foot Cal Mac is in an offside position, the ball then hit the defender and went to Cal Mac, but as he was offside when the ball left Nitchams foot then no goal.
As for Craigan and commentator trying hard to explain a load of pish as to why it was off…. Well they are in my eyes a couple of wallipors.
Anyway 3 points and we move onto Saturday with hopefully no other injuries, a few knocks maybe but hopefully no lasting effects.
Right Jobos 3 picks now, Mmmmmmm.

Don’t know if i could ever handle those icy damp days again.
This from a ghuy who worked at temp -22 on previous contracts
but the aul bones wouldn’t take it now.
I will never forget trying to start the car and the radiator was leaking
so had to use porridge oats or an egg to try and seal it, just to get to
work.
Aye those were the days my friend.

MM – leaky radiators, bloody luxury, I remember trying to get ma horse oot the stable….
Nah, I know although I am only 53 I had some dodgy cars way back when 17 years of age onwards and some terrible mornings as I was a postie starting at 5am sometimes starting at 4.30am and the auld car wouldn’t start, trying to get jump starts, taking batteries into house. Banging starters with hammers, parking on hills… Scraping cars, not getting into them walking miles to work.
Now I treated masell to a car with every toy available and driving it’s a joy going to work on the other hand….
I keep saying to Mrs Davud66 when I retire I am off from this place to somewhere hot to live the rest of my years, but as more grandweans come along I can see my dream disssapearing like snow aff a dyke. 😢😢😢

Great 3 points last night. Pity we didn’t score more but that pitch was awful. It’s great to have the points in the bag. It must be soul destroying for the Huns playing catch-up. Hope Hobs get something tomorrow but I’m not counting my chickens. To win this league we’ll need to rely on our own efforts. We’re ticking these games off very nicely. COYBIG

Good win. Should have scored more and that would have allowed us to make subs earlier.
That said it looks like they all came through fit and healthy
FAO Melbourne Mick and others who have wished me well etc….A massive thank you to you all, and I wish I could get you all a drink….or 10 !
IF I do get out Today, I will certainly try and have ONE Pint of Guinness in my local……I never thought that I would ever say that…..having ONE Pint only ……

Don’t know about you, but I find it ridiculous that Liverpool want to continue to build on their success.
Liverpool’s net spend in the Summer on transfer fees was -£36m
RE the offside goal. When the ball is played forward CalMac is in an offside position.
As soon as he touches it and despite it coming off a Hearts player, he is offside.

Celtics 3 points last night cheered me up for sure, and it was a great early birthday present.

Any theories on why we miss so many decent chances?
Obviously, we create more than other teams so have more opportunities to miss but the ratio , for such class players, seems diproportionate.
If these things really do even out over a season, some teams are going to be on the end of a severe thrashing :-)
