A downer yesterday. Not taking advantage of straight forward chances made early in games has cost us points all season. Roll on to next weekend is the prescribed medicine.
Bit of good news is neither FC Copenhagen nor Olympiakos are factors in their league races any longer, according to Bert. Lifts us above any potential Danish and Greek champions to a likely 6th of 44 contestants in the summer.

player injury updates is an area we could communicate to the supporters much better imo.
Dugs are good, big fella is going to Malaga later in the week to hopefully get his leg pinned back on, it’s a major op so it’s in the balance.
One of the first things Brendan did when he arrived was to get rid of John Park, the bloke who has replaced him isny setting the heather on fire, he didn’t when he was at Sunderland either, but who are we to argue.
The money BR has spent I would have hoped for a better return, maybes if the board had backed Lenny when he was coining it in for the club, who knows.

Normally the keeper of the contact details BMCUW handles email address swaps for the board but he’s a little indisposed at the moment. Don’t know if Paul67 can give you my addy.
Then I could send you pics. Otherwise If I get time I’ll post some on a website….
We travel the length of the Thames through central London and occasionally out to Ramsgate then France & Belgium.
Selling next year to buy a sailboat, more suitable for the Aegean, where we’ll be living.

CCB67 tell BMCUWP that I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. I still remember our conversation in that little cafe outside the Basilica area at Fatima. I then had the pleasure of his company into Lisbon on the coach last year.
LR67 I will also keep you in my prayers. Tomorrow I will pray for you both at Mass. I hope you will both have a speedy recovery and will be fit to celebrate winning the League and Cup.
Just back from a weekend in Cheshire and got updated with the news on Lionsroars and BMCUWP. I know Billy and Mick are fighters and will be fighting back against what ails them.
BMCUW and Lionsroar67, you’d be hard pushed to get somebody better than CONNAIRE12 putting a word in for you to the Man Upstairs.
Once again God bless and take care ghuys.

Apparently Gamboa was allowed to go on holiday with his family last weekend to Spain, Costa Rican MSM reporting this. Celtic career well and truly over.
Very strange what has gone on with him, Compper and Sviatchenko.

Really dis-appointed with Saturday. Seething is the word.
Too much complacency, right down to appearance,if your attending a big occasion you dress appropriately,so who thought a Celtic team about to win the Title with WW coverage should do so in a strip devoid of green.
They played like they looked.
Brown was obviously recovering from illness and it showed, but no excuses for the rest who were dire.
Anyone who think McGinn would not add to that midfield has not been paying attention,of course he does not do McGeady turns like Rogic and Ncham, but that means he does not lose the ball 70% of the time when attempting same, this is the Scottish League we play in,with occasional appearances in Europe, therefore you construct a team to succceed in the environment you operate in,and which supplies the revenue if successful for Europe appearances.
Hibs played well,as they do against us,but lets not go overboard, they overachieved, and if honest would admit they surprised themselves, there again they expected to play Celtic not Pinko F.C.with attitude to match.
PS Hibs will lose game (s ) in run in.Lets see if they do us a turn vs Aberdeen or Sevco if required,as this has created a situation which was avoidable.

Don’t think he’s good enough but better in a back 4 than Hendry in a back 3. Three right backs, arguably neither good enough and only one left back which we’ve been dicing with for long enough. Needs addressing in the summer.

Humble apologies for offending your nautical sensibilities.
Narrowboat Tim was/is a Tim who frequented the Grand Union Canal and was fond of attending the annual Cropredy Festival for Fairport Convention reunions. One of the Tims who slipped away from the site a few years ago. Just chugged up & down the canals & followed the sun.
One day he cast off before dawn, disappeared into the mist and is moored somewhere else now I hope.
