    Easy in the end, wasn’t it? Credit to the manager for whatever was said at half time.

     

     

    I thought Joe Ledley played a little more infield in the second half and got more into the game. Forrest took hos goals well and it was good to see the front two both on the score sheet.

    Yep, it’s been good to see. Where others were switched off, he was one of the few battlers, along with wee Jimmy. He’s been a crucial part of the recent turnaround. Also Chico Mulgrew, and Mark Wilson. They know the score here and are teaching the rest of our young squad how not to let outside forces affect the morale on the pitch. Some of the players have looked very nervy in recent months. New bhoy Victor has been cool though.

     

     

    What i’m saying is, some players have allowed the outside influences to affect them, as they will never have experienced the likes of it before. It was necessary for the aforementioned to instil the steel back into the team, and it seems to be starting to take effect now.

     

     

    Credit to our manager, i expect he took some of these ghuys aside and told them to lead…evident in where the armband has been going.

    This might seem a wee bit pedantic, but why was there no stoppage time ?

     

     

    I counted 5 subs, plus a sending off, and the physio coming on for Griffiths.

     

     

    If referees are going to book players who leave the pitch when celebrating goals , and then hide behind ‘the rules’ , then why not the same diligence in applying the rules ?

    especially after how below par the 1st half was, great to see that fight and spirit

     

     

    delighted to see it and after many of us on the blog were calling for substitutions I am sure everyone was as happy as me to eat that humble pie!!!!

    I don’t know what was in the water but whatever they had at half time they need to start like that.

     

     

    Make no mistake had we lost tonight it was going to be a long season.

     

     

    Now there is a semi-final.

     

    2 wins in a row to build on.

     

    Hibs at home on saturday and hopefully the sheep can do what they normally do against the animals.

     

     

    We needed that badly tonight.

     

     

    Hibs are poor when you pressurize them. Do it again on Saturday.

    It was the best thing he has done in a Celtic shirt because it allowed us to have that result. I’ve never seen him do that before. It was good.
