  1. Well played The Celts!

    Well played James Forrest!

    Well played Big Fraser!

Verty well played Neil Lennon. (Much to the chagrin of our many tactical know all’s)

  2. celtic *o* lennon on

    Couple of questions Lhads.

Can we the un special season ticket holders buy tickets for the Huns game tomorrow? Promised the wife a cracking night out between Xmas and Hogmanay ho ho :-)

Is the demo at George square or Glasgow green on Saturday?

  3. West Wales Celt on

BTW I really like the prospect that is Victor.

He should be on the team sheet for potentially tricky away fixtures…

  4. Ah well!

Some of the new posters can slip off quietly and some of the Sack Lennon Now movement can put their placards away for another day.

The rest of us can stay calm.

That was a good win but it was against a poor Hibs team. We were not brilliant and we were not rubbish but we showed a good pick up of pace from a wasteful first 45 minutes. Well done Fraser Forster, Thomas Rogne, Anthony Stokes and wee James.

But for me, Wanyama is now indespensible because Beram Kayal now wants to be an attacking midfielder.

3 more points needed on Saturday- looking forward to it.

  5. We’ve found out mojo…. o))

told wee James to get the white boots off get the black boots off and look what happens…

    from Lenny…

  6. Anybody else think that we might just have to thank wee ugly Gollum and Sproule for the assault and booking? After their cheating, Kayal was like a man possessed – looked like last season. And the others didn’t look too bas, either.

    Game on.

    Hail Hail!

  7. 4-1. Why? Forrest scoring gave the team that bit of confidence. But, we still look too slack and unorganised. Thank God Hooper scored. To me, Kayal and Ki are THE big disappointments. Mind you, why did Cha end up playing outside right??? Strange night altogether but we won, and convincingly in the end.

  8. What would round this night off nicely, would be Nevins and McLean apologising for their last “commentary” on our support.

    Couple of ….

Interesting to see Scott McD in that studio with them…still think he’s John Collins long lost love child :)

  9. Tell you something bhoys, this team is needing everybody to pull together, fans at the game and us on our Pc, the nonsense that is posted on here during a game is disgusting.

The treble is on, the fight in this team is something to behold.

I repeat the treble is on.

I despair, call yourself Celtic fans? Not in my opinion your not.

    Keeping the faith

    Mtt

  10. MWD

It’s the inconsistency that bugs me.

Mulgrew’s booking could be costly as the injuries mount and the season progresses.

  11. Lennon n Mc....Mjallby on

well done Celtic, its a big ask fighting on four fronts with lots of injuries and a hostile environment, proud of you.

  12. it’s been a while since i watched a performance like that. let’s get a good win on saturday get the confidence sky high and go on a run…

  13. Fantastic 2nd half, confidence boost hopefully. Hibs on Saturday is far more important.

Does anyone know how many captains we’ve had this Year? Off the top of my head we’ve had:

Brown, Mark Wilson, Kayal, Dan & Charlie.

Too many in my opinion, unless they havent played in the team at the same time.

  14. Calderwood won’t leave his defence so exposed against us again – certainly not this Saturday

He’s a dour hun and he’ll relish a 1 up/10 back formation – we’ll need to work harder for the points as a result of this doing.

    Still, I expect a 2-0 win.

  15. West Wales Celt on

    No, can’t be right…

Nevin saying positive things about the Celtic support?

    Incredible…

  16. West Wales Celt @ 21:10

Yep, my thoughts too. A strong defensive wall in front of the defence, rarely a bad pass. Excellent player, who’s settled in right away. 1st team choice for me.

  17. Moonbeams WD. \o/ Supporting Neil Lennon 100%. C’mon the hoops. says:

I’m as pedantic as you. Min 3 mins should have been added.

    Nonsense!

The ref was quite right – I had Celtic @-2. :-)

  18. Oh Mr Nevin

    The celtic fans kept singin…..

They knew their team would win

    No dodgy singin Pat ?

    Was yer boy there ?

    NO

  19. Vinibhoy - Named Neil Lennon on his birth certificate on

    Well played Celtic.

I officially like Pat Nevin and hope that every Celtic fan goes up to him and shakes his hand.

Lets get him back to Celtic Park with his son.

    That’s the Celtic way.

    Hail Hail

  20. Mtt

Agree about the cyber ‘support’ but even that wee rat nevin acknowledged how well the bhoys were supported at the game.

    —————————————————————————————–

Nah,..the guys a weed! he’s better off hiding behind the cloak of the bbc.

  22. Fraser Forster has been immense and kept Celtic in matches we’d otherwise be buried in. Sure, he has had some errors – ANY keeper would with that defence in front of you and dont forget he is young. His personality, character and confidence is growing with those performances. BTW Mcgregor makes great saves but has many many blunders!

great atacking performance and some much needed goals boosting players.

a few more players back and we’ll be in good shape!

    hail hail

  23. Philbhoy - It's just the beginning! on

    MoonbeamsWD

    Glad it went well!

Agree, Foster, although far from the finished article, is improving.

He is beginning to produce great saves, but a wee bit dodgy with cross balls.

    Report card would say –

    A definite improvement.

  24. Snake Plissken on

    Moonbeams

I am sorry if you took me the wrong way.

I accept those are big saves but I’d be looking for him to make those.

A one on one is the best thing a keeper can do.

I’m grumpy anaw and fed up watching wimpy performances. What they produced was the best in many weeks and it gives us something to look forward to.

    It was a huge result.

    Hail Hail.
