It’s you, it’s all you, CQN Magazine and Annual out now!

590

It’s all go here, the latest edition of CQN Magazine went live online late last night.  There is a whole section on the goings-on in Amsterdam, together with ‘Dam’-ing video evidence of police assaults on Celtic supporters.  There are a full 26 articles by some of the most talented writers from the Celtic community.

As we’re near the year end, check out ‘Doc’s Year on CQN’.  You can read the whole thing online by clicking here.  Use the buttons at the bottom right of the magazine to navigate through the pages.

I see it is alleged that Charles Green’s signature on the document, submitted to Companies House, is a forgery!  ‘Hooks’ are cited on the signature where hooks don’t always otherwise appear.

I do hope, for Mr Green’s sake, his signature is consistently without hooks.  A man who has held as many directorships as Green will have signed his name many time.  Let’s hope few resemble the forgery.  It would also help if there was no material supporting Craig Whyte’s claim to be a director of Sevco 5088 Ltd, which would be downright inconvenient, especially evidence from Green himself that he “handed the company back” to Whyte.

The tide surrounding the events in Amsterdam last week is beginning to turn.  Ajax were fined €25k for a group of their fans displaying an offensive banner.  The Dutch champions will take steps to recover the fine from those responsible for the banner, which will surely reduce the chances of a repeat offense to practically zero.

The CQN Annual is off the presses and pre-orders will be posted today!  Its 226 full colour pages of Celtic Delight, written and produced by the Celtic support.  You can order online in plenty time to discretely read yourself before passing it off as a Christmas present. Just make sure Craig Whyte is not around to tape you reading it out loud, or when you sign any documents, for that matter.

My thanks to everyone who contributed to the Annual.  It has been an epic undertaking but I’m sure you’ll love it.[calameo code=000390171e05b9b63a832 lang=en page=92 hidelinks=1 width=100% height=500]

  1. Livi- Only saving grace for Tony is if he does crash and burn his rags to riches to rags story will be a best seller.

A case study as well for any aspiring young footballers.

Hope he can turn this around.

  2. joe filippis haircut,

Most people that work in my occupation know how prevalent it is in Scotland, only the masons deny the fact it’s used as a stepping stone.

I have seen so many times it being used to further clowns careers…I have even heard hard working blokes from the other side of the fence get frustrated by it. HH

  3. Tony has talent. Tony is growing up. Tony will grow up. He needs calm people to have a word in his ear, not condemnation. I very much liked the way Gary Hooper used to try to help him during matches.

If it’s not working out in Belgium, let him come home, but let us be very slow to write him off.

Can you be sure that his fellow professionals will be welcoming him back?

Re ,Tony Watt, although the headline said he was sent home, the article states he was sent away from the group, could that mean it may be something trivial, train with the youths or whatever, could be a simple explanation, but still a problem none the less

No, I can’t be sure of that, but it’s for the club as a whole to help him, from his fellow players to the fans. He’s 19.

Yes he’s 19 but it’s Tony who appears to have forgotten that more than anyone.

I knew everything when I was 19 too, like a lot of people. And then the more I got to know, the more I knew that I knew very little. It’s part of what being human is all about.

  12. Joe Filippis Haircut on

Celtic First. I agree at 19 I thought I knew everything and wasnt slow to tell people.Like you as I got older I realised how little I really knew..I must have been a real pain to everyone back then. So there is hope for Tony that he may wise up before its to late. H.H.

  13. I am going to write to Celtic and offer to take all the wayward Bhoys under my wing and walk with them to Santiago. They will come back renewed, but having drunk quite a lot of wine. Unless that was just my experience.

    Hope they like praying.

I don’t think there’s anyone over the age of 25 who’d disagree but my concern is that there are no more arms left to console him.

Sorry not intending to be so cryptic but aware this is a public forum.

  16. Plenty of lads of Tony’s age find it hard to conduct themselves professionally.

He needs to change his attitude of course. But this is nothing new to professional football and I wouldn’t worry too much.

Charlie Mulgrew was a bit of an eedjit as a young lad. So was Roy Keane.

  17. Philbhoy - Bring it on!!!! on

Looks as if we couldn’t handle him when he was here.

Why punt him to a foriegn country, where I suspect he wouldn’t understand the language or the customs?

    Aye, and at 19!

It reflects poorly on Neil and co as much as it does on Tony.

They obviously did not let the sports psychologist McGuinnes (or whatever his name was) loose on the bhoy when he was here.

Has he been punted as well?

Anyway, now that we’ve signed the striker from Fram, we should be ok.

    C’MON THE CELTS!!!!!! (FFS)

    AMSTERDAM –

The police did not do anything wrong in the violent confrontation with Celtic supporters last week in Amsterdam . According to Commissioner Jan Pronker is “total nonsense ” that Scottish fans were provoked.

The Commissioner fed the wrong perception created by the Internet footage of the confrontation . Then you can see how one of the Celtic fans some knees gets into his stomach , though he seems to be under control . Include

” Those few knees were just need to get him under control,” says Pronker in the Volkskrant . ” We have used disproportionate force . The police have done a great job . ”

According Pronker the conscious man was so drunk he did not respond to painful stimuli . ” He had recently punched a cop in his face , which had a cracked lip . Why he was arrested . ”

Agents would have to confront feared for their lives . ” Some had almost pulled their guns . They realized just in time that could have been . Snatched Some doubt whether they inwillen the field again .

  20. HT, the people at CP are professionals, they don’t all have to get on.

If TW is the best option, and he himself can show professionalism, I’m sure our management will deal with any issues that occur. Up to a point that is of course.

I hope those issues can be sorted out and the lhads talent can shine.

Still wranes me that he wasn’t retained and managed. He is very possibly the answer to one of our biggest problems. Somehow we buy ‘works in progress’ but at the same time loan out other who fall in to the same category.

    Tony Watt.

Is this the type of Bhoy who would be taken under the wing of Mr Celtic. Have we replaced Tommy Burns in this respect? Don’t know the full situation with the lad. Maybe he just won’t listen but Tommy Burns was a huge loss for Celtic.

  28. Turkeybhoy, you like so many other people have a very narrow view of what celtic is or should be. celtic are a business as well as a football team, without good business the football team suffers and vice versa. all improvements are designed to make celtic football club more successful and profitable. You seem to be implying all money made should be directed into the first team. yet, you inform us celtic are receiving significant grants for the work so are we or are we not diverting money away from the first team?

all improvements around celtic park are to make it a more desirable and attractive place to visit on match and non-match days. all of these improvements/ upgrades focus on giving people an experience they desire so people get into and around the stadium and stay there. that’s only possible if the club offer better facilities and services.

celtic have one major advantage over every minnow club in every so called big league in Europe and that advantage is a massive support. that support only counts if you get them through the door and keep them in the envois of the stadium by tapping into what different supporters want. tens of millions of pounds are being spent by celtic supporters every year. celtic need to tap into that supporters so that money is available to improve the club.

    example:

I visited celtic park and done the tour which lasted 1 1/2 hours. At end of the tour I walked outside the front door of celtic park into the car and away I went. At barca tour I was in the stadium, museum, shop and outside to a food stall. Had I done the same at celtic park my modest £17.00 pound spend could actually have been closer to £50 pounds with some food or £100+ pounds with some food and goods bought. if that scenario is times 300 times per week, 50 weeks of the year then how does that impact on ability to retain/ buy players. inho, celtic park should be a must visit for football supporters on tour, but what can we currently offer outside match day?

p.s. football by its very nature means that freak results happen no matter how much you spend on the squad. VVD has settled into his new environment very well indeed others that have come in this summer have taken a little more time to settle, that does not make them bad players. in fact on of my favourite players, stand the man, took a while to settle into our club but it was worth the wait the same could be said for victor and if am correct it took BBJ 9 games to score his first goal for us.

    keep the faith HH
