It’s you, it’s all you, CQN Magazine and Annual out now!

590

It’s all go here, the latest edition of CQN Magazine went live online late last night.  There is a whole section on the goings-on in Amsterdam, together with ‘Dam’-ing video evidence of police assaults on Celtic supporters.  There are a full 26 articles by some of the most talented writers from the Celtic community.

As we’re near the year end, check out ‘Doc’s Year on CQN’.  You can read the whole thing online by clicking here.  Use the buttons at the bottom right of the magazine to navigate through the pages.

I see it is alleged that Charles Green’s signature on the document, submitted to Companies House, is a forgery!  ‘Hooks’ are cited on the signature where hooks don’t always otherwise appear.

I do hope, for Mr Green’s sake, his signature is consistently without hooks.  A man who has held as many directorships as Green will have signed his name many time.  Let’s hope few resemble the forgery.  It would also help if there was no material supporting Craig Whyte’s claim to be a director of Sevco 5088 Ltd, which would be downright inconvenient, especially evidence from Green himself that he “handed the company back” to Whyte.

The tide surrounding the events in Amsterdam last week is beginning to turn.  Ajax were fined €25k for a group of their fans displaying an offensive banner.  The Dutch champions will take steps to recover the fine from those responsible for the banner, which will surely reduce the chances of a repeat offense to practically zero.

The CQN Annual is off the presses and pre-orders will be posted today!  Its 226 full colour pages of Celtic Delight, written and produced by the Celtic support.  You can order online in plenty time to discretely read yourself before passing it off as a Christmas present. Just make sure Craig Whyte is not around to tape you reading it out loud, or when you sign any documents, for that matter.

My thanks to everyone who contributed to the Annual.  It has been an epic undertaking but I’m sure you’ll love it.[calameo code=000390171e05b9b63a832 lang=en page=92 hidelinks=1 width=100% height=500]

    Good news re Adam Matthews

Joe Ledley won’t turn his back on Celtic

CELTIC defender Adam Matthews is convinced close pal Joe Ledley will sign a new contract with the club.

Joe Ledley could move back down south but his team mates are desperate for him to stay [ROSS TURPIE]

Midfielder Ledley has been linked with a move back south.

The 26-year-old’s deal expires at the end of the season, freeing him to speak to interested clubs, including Everton, in January.

It was revealed earlier this week that talks between Celtic and the player have made little progress.

But team-mate and fellow Wales international Matthews said: “Everyone has his fingers crossed that Joe will put pen to paper here.

“I hope he signs again and I’m sure he will. You want all your top players to stay and Joe is one of them. I definitely want him to stay and everyone in the dressing room does because he’s a top lad off the pitch and a great player on it.

“He was very consistent when I played with him at Cardiff and he has carried on from then and got better here every season.”

Full-back Matthews, 21, is on track to return from a shoulder injury ahead of schedule and is targeting the Champions League tie in Barcelona on December 11.

He said: “Things have been going really well. I’m not sure about a date to come back yet but I’m hoping for Barcelona. I’ll need to see how it reacts in the next couple of weeks but hopefully it won’t be too long.

You want all your top players to stay and Joe is one of them

    Adam Matthews

“Initially it was going to be the new year when I got back but now I’m quite confident it will be way before then if it keeps improving the way it has been.”

Matthews dislocated his collarbone against Motherwell at the beginning of October and was initially ruled out for three months.

Meanwhile, Celtic have won the race to sign Iceland’s rising star Holmbert Aron Fridjonsson.

Icelandic outfit Fram yesterday confirmed a deal in the region of £120,000 has been struck with the Hoops for the transfer of the 20-year-old attacker.

Fridjonsson is poised to agree personal terms and will be registered by the Bhoys on January 1.

Last night Fram president Sverrir Einarsson admitted a sale was imminent.

He said: “We have accepted the offer and Holmbert is now free to speak with them.”

Great news about Vanessa! The fund raising quiz night last year was the first time I had the privilege to meet some CQN’rs in the flesh (no I’m not talking about TET’s photos of prospective employees ;-) )

Big Nan, very impressive and a big well done.

I will say, however, despite the photograph attached to my CQN map pin, lol, I have never been a member of any secret society or organisation.

    Big Nan,

absolutely brilliant, you didn’t miss a beat! They seemed like they were trying to play a cute parlour game with you – tufty and church elders their witless attempts at derailment.

But it just served to reinforce your point, their lame swerves.

It’s a unique problem in Scotland due to the Orangeism, the secrecy and the numbers involved you said, and they wormed and squirmed.
