It’s you, it’s all you, CQN Magazine and Annual out now!

590

It’s all go here, the latest edition of CQN Magazine went live online late last night.  There is a whole section on the goings-on in Amsterdam, together with ‘Dam’-ing video evidence of police assaults on Celtic supporters.  There are a full 26 articles by some of the most talented writers from the Celtic community.

As we’re near the year end, check out ‘Doc’s Year on CQN’.  You can read the whole thing online by clicking here.  Use the buttons at the bottom right of the magazine to navigate through the pages.

I see it is alleged that Charles Green’s signature on the document, submitted to Companies House, is a forgery!  ‘Hooks’ are cited on the signature where hooks don’t always otherwise appear.

I do hope, for Mr Green’s sake, his signature is consistently without hooks.  A man who has held as many directorships as Green will have signed his name many time.  Let’s hope few resemble the forgery.  It would also help if there was no material supporting Craig Whyte’s claim to be a director of Sevco 5088 Ltd, which would be downright inconvenient, especially evidence from Green himself that he “handed the company back” to Whyte.

The tide surrounding the events in Amsterdam last week is beginning to turn.  Ajax were fined €25k for a group of their fans displaying an offensive banner.  The Dutch champions will take steps to recover the fine from those responsible for the banner, which will surely reduce the chances of a repeat offense to practically zero.

The CQN Annual is off the presses and pre-orders will be posted today!  Its 226 full colour pages of Celtic Delight, written and produced by the Celtic support.  You can order online in plenty time to discretely read yourself before passing it off as a Christmas present. Just make sure Craig Whyte is not around to tape you reading it out loud, or when you sign any documents, for that matter.

My thanks to everyone who contributed to the Annual.  It has been an epic undertaking but I’m sure you’ll love it.[calameo code=000390171e05b9b63a832 lang=en page=92 hidelinks=1 width=100% height=500]

  1. Tremendous performance by Tom Minogue yesterday.

Exposing the orange flavoured ones who take their ‘casual oaths’ as the Tufty club man described.

Casual my erchie……..could write a book about my life experiences with Orange flavoured Masons in Scotland.none of them particularly life enhancing or positive.

Hope big Tom rips them all a new one and sure someone of his stature will do eventually..

Proud to have signed his petition.

Hope the truth about Dunblane in 1996 comes out soon.

  2. I have just watch the Tom Minogue Holyrood video.

First of all well done Tom. You did a great job. However, contrary to what I have been reading on here, I didn’t see any “sneering” or hear any “snide digs” from the committee members. They asked their questions, which was what they were there to do.

What did some people expect? Did they think they were all going to just say, “Well done Tom. Motion passed” and it would be all over in 2 minutes?

I sincerely hope Tom is successful, but there is no harm in having a healthy discussion on the way. It’s called democracy.

  3. Tom McLaughlin…Agree broadly with what you say but thought some of the committee looked ill at ease with the subject matter being discussed.

Even if it raises public awareness and consciousness of the conspiracy to cover up the findings of what happened in Dunblane, until 2096 , it will be a success in my mind.

This suppression of information is beyond criminality.

  5. Top of the morning to you all from a still-dark Fife where I am trying to catch up on yesterday’s posts concerning my petition. If I have missed anyone out or there is any duplication blame my wife for expecting me to do mundane chores like washing and varnishing banisters. Anyway here goes for the last time I would imagine, though I will answer any questions from those who supported the petition and it occurred to me, that to my certain knowledge, Masons have been among those who support the petition as well as non-Mason.

DeniaBhoy in awe of wee Oscar’s Courage………………We all know about the Teflon effect that Freemasonry gives some of their brethren, but we must try to change that. The Craft has many strengths in Scotland this most Masonic of countries but there are weaknesses as well and the biggest is the fact that many who rise to the top are pretty useless and hence the title they get of being the Mafia of the mediocre. Just look across the city at that bastion of the brotherhood which even with our national banks as a willing lender of any amount of money on terms we could only dream about and still they went bust.

tommytwiststommyturns supporting Wee Oscar………………You haven’t listened to it yet! What’s going on here. But joking apart I may have known your late father and he told you true about Masonry in industry. I went to work in the Klondyke when I got paid off from my job as a plater on the building of Longannet power station. I stayed in the Salvation Army hostel for the first few days then went into the Sailors Mission but it was quite dear and my workmates (mostly Tims) got me fixed up with digs but this was only temporary and it was known that I needed new digs. Anyway the gaffers were all Masons and many OO as well and one Charge Hand got talking to us one morning and showing great curiosity about me, asked where I came from. I told him Rosyth and he quickly asked me if I knew Andy Penman or Alex Smith and I told him I knew both. Smithy was a very quiet man and I didn’t know him well, but knew Andy Penman well and his parents who lived next to King’s Road school where his dad was the janitor. I had went to this school for my final two years because it more or less guaranteed an apprenticeship in the local naval base whereas my previous school St Margaret’s didn’t get placements there. But anyway Andy put two and two together and got five and it was Tam this and Tam that as he probed me about Andy who I had met in Dundee when he played there and he had introduced me to Alan Gilzean, Ian Ure and other players and we had a good night at the JM dancing together. When Masonic Andy heard the story about me wanting new digs and immediately dragged me off-site and all over Greenock, he couldn’t do enough for me, stopping for a pint and telling me not to worry as he had signed us out etc. So after a few pints and a few doors of his brethren knocked to get Tam a new berth we started to run out of conversation it came to my surname and by this time it had been very obvious to me what was going down so when I told him the roots of my Irish surname it was as if I had booted him in the balls. No more Tam this and Tam that and he strode off back down the hill to the Klondyke with me trailing in his wake. The man was a humourless individual and didn’t appreciate the humour of the situation which I later learned has been engineered to some extent by my own workmates who had wound him up that I was a blue-nose. Some of the plotters were Rangers fans and saw the joke but the Tims had played on Andy’s bigotry and stupidity. All the workers were top class in that yard but most of the gaffers had risen because of their handshake as opposed to their ability. No wonder the Clyde yards failed. RIP and respect to your dad and the many like him whose talents were thwarted by the opportunistic chancers that use the Craft.

My last memory of that night is Lord Hope leaping out of the way as I burst into the gent’s toilet doing a five finger spread of vomit. That was many years ago but I was alerted about the Spec by two advocates and the rest is history, but it is a history that is hidden by the parliament, though I publish it on my blog anyway so it will come out one way or t’other. I have known several Spec men.

Harry Hoodie (Infiltrator from KDS) Thanks for the kind words and encouragement and it’s a pity that KDS locked my thread on the General Site with about a month of signing still left. I don’t know any personally nor do I know anyone on this site other than Eddiefromkirkmichael who I have met once. I did a lot of stuff for the CelticWiki which is part of KDS but what I did to have the PE01491 site locked I will never know. H.H.

gedhed7……….Thanks for the compliment and my thanks are sincere as it gave me great encouragement to do my petition justice when I knew so many others had stuck their necks out for someone who they didn’t know as anything other than a nom de plume on this blog, which as you say is a special club of special people but thankfully one that is not cliqueish. That is something we must all try to protect because wreckers will envy the success and diversity of CQN. H.H.

Tom McLaughlin…………….You call it as you see it Tom and I might have more respect for the parliamentary process if they had fairly represented the current situation and my previous petition but they didn’t and nor did they feature my submissions from the Domstol (Norwegian Courts Admin) but they did manage to squeeze Grand Lodge’s submission in. Like you I am a fan of democracy and that is not always readily available for petitioners and from my past bitter experience I knew what to expect and was ready for them. You may have cause to change your opinion on the fairness of the members of the committee. Thanks for the well-wishes and H.H.

    ############################

Ryecatcher…………….Thanks for the kind words and I don’t get involved in the Dunblane Inquiry out of choice but there is a sad aspect to that tragedy and that is the fact that it may have been avoided if a school teacher from QVS Dunblane had been listened to. Glenn Harrison told me his story of Masonic influence at the school where he was housemaster allowing Hamilton to go unchecked years before he committed mass murder. That was part of my PE306 but you won’t find it on the parliament’s website but will find it here on my blog: http://www.tomminogue.com/index.php/first-page-edit-this-title?blog=8 There is a lot still to come out of my petition yet Ryecatcher so thanks again and H.H.

    Good morning CQNers,

    Big Nan,

I’d be astounded if your proposal makes any headway in Scotland as there is no imperative for change. What really matters though is that you stood up and spoke so eloquently for the many that couldn’t.

Well done sir, you did yourself and all of us proud.

  10. We try and I wouldn’t try if I didn’t think there was some hope that change might one day come.

If we don’t complain they will think that we are happy with things the way they are.

    Time for change Murdochbhoy.

  11. Murdochbhoy supporting Fearless Oscar on

    Big Nan,

Absolutely. The standard you walk past is the standard you accept.

  12. On the subject of freemasonry.

I have no time for and absolutely detest any secret organisation. The very reason they are secret should be enough to have them banned from any public office or position of authority.

Having said that there are many people like my uncle who are freemasons for the simple fact they wanted to keep their jobs. I have had many run ins with my uncle although they are to do with his organisation and not the person.

When he was asked to join the craft the first person he told was my old man and his exact words were that “if it would make any diference to their friendship then he would not join”. My old man told him to go ahead. They are still close to this day.

There is one thing that he did tell me and that was he and his fellow masons detested the OO and found them an embarassment.

  13. Tractorbhoy, some of the best people I have known in life were freemasons but for every one good one I have known ten talentless tossers who used it to get an edge over their fellow man.

I know for a fact that Masons have supported my petition and why shouldn’t they, the decent ones who like your uncle simply had to put bread on a table. I understand that.

I don’t agree with your assertion that the Masons detest the OO. I know many who are in both and the OO was founded by Masons and King Billy was one apparently but I base my remarks re the orange flavour of Scottish freemasonry on personal experience told here: http://www.tomminogue.com/blog7.php/second-page

  18. Huns on FF on ‘Huns’:

“The [Tim]s’ defence of the use of the word h*n

That because they sing it to other Scottish teams, it can’t be deemed sectarian as they’re not alluding it to one particular sect of Scottish identity.

So I ask the pertinent question, did we ever only sing the billy boys at celtc games?

I remember quite vividly singing it against the sheep, dundee hiv, hertz, st Johnstone, Dunfermline….. fill your boots….

So why can their defence of the use hun be upheld due to their excuse?”

    ——

“It is disgusting the way they are allowed to throw this term about.”

    ——

“I’d bet they use this word far, far more when it comes to perceived ‘proddy’ teams.”

    ——

” When I was young Celtic were always known as the Huns and we used to sing ‘Go home ya Huns” at them all the time.I cant work out how it was turned around to us being called it.”

    ——

“I think it started around the time we signed Hateley whose nickname was Atilla.”

    ——

“i would love Rangers to be the first scottish team to leave the park because of sectarian chanting from the opposition”

  19. Big nan

I agree wholeheartedly with your points. As for Masons also being in the OO, I was not aware of this and only know what my uncle told me, perhaps he had no knowledge of this in his own lodge.
