CELTIC legend Henrik Larsson has told John Guidetti to forget Feyenoord and concentrate on helping the Hoops to win the treble.
The Swedish striker is out of contract at Manchester City at the end of the season and his loan deal with the SPFL champions expires at the same time.
Free agent Guidetti has been linked with a return to the Dutch club where he has already spent a season on loan in 2011/12.
But Larsson has warned the 22-year-old frontman he risks upsetting supporters by publicly talking up a return to Feyenoord.
Larsson, who also played for the Rotterdam giants, advised Guidetti to knuckle down for the remainder of his loan stay in Glasgow.
He said: “I don’t believe Celtic will appreciate John’s comments about Feyenoord. He is in the position now where he has to choose his next move.
“I did it, of course, in my last year at Celtic when I announced I was not going to renew my contract because I said I wanted to play somewhere warm.
“But my situation was very different because I had delivered consistently when I was there.”
Guidetti has scored only three goals since the turn of the year and, bizarrely, refused to celebrate when he hammered in one against Dundee United in the 3-0 win at the weekend.
