Lions Roar, the last giant standing, CQN Mag is out!

824

Issue 16 of CQN Magazine is out today and (in my never humble opinion) is our best yet.  We are right up to date, with coverage of the Scottish Cup final.  Phil Mac Giolla Bhain gives historical perspective on Celtic’s position as the last apex in the game.

You’ve ready plenty of great stories of how people got their tickets Seville and we bring you a very Celtic story on how one man got his.  Did you notice we’ve mentioned Willie Wallace a bit recently?  Some of the reasons why are covered by two of Scotland’s best writers, Brogan Hogan and Archie MacPherson, excerpts of their contributions to Heart of a Lion are here for you.

There are lots more great articles….. including our cover theme, The Lions Roar Again Event.  The remaining Lisbon Lions are back at Celtic Park for a Q&A and Lisbon film show, in aid of 1254125.  The first event was one of those special Celtic occasions, if you missed it, make sure you get along this time.

Opportunities like this don’t come along often.  Book your tickets for the event here, bring the family.

DON’T TRY TO READ THE MAGAZINE FROM THE GRAPHC BELOW, that is just a teaser.  For a proper read, go here.  Use the navigation buttons at the bottom to flick through pages or zoom in.

I was underwhelmed at the appointment of wee Strach when he came to Celtic. But he soon grew on me with his utter contempt for the MM. There was no doubtin his achievements, no matter how they were achieved. You cant help admiring him for that and Ive always defended his corner. However, I cant help but think the inclusion of The likes of Naibalance and Whittafud and the Unholy Goalie has somewhat diminished any respect I had for the man. I cant help but think theyre only there to pacify zombie faction of the Fartin Army.

    The bould,

Ask a sevco fan what they think of the players you mention.

Enough to make me take to them (a little);)

As you’re around do you remember the Woodbank Hotel close to the Bear Park? Silly question as you will.

We’re in a ludge close to there. Lodge I mean.

I know they aint popular these days among the hun hoardes, but on a footballing perspective they should be nowhere near a jersey anyway. McGregor maybes, the rest have no reason to be near the squad.

Dissapointed the wee man continued where others failed before.

Hi kiddo, not going to give you any arguments on the points you make. I (retired now) have had managerial positions in 2 of the most successful and biggest companies in the UK and maybe even Europe. I never at any time concealed the fact I was educated in a Catholic school. In fact, I am trying to remember if they even asked that question. It was a long time ago. What does worry me, is the fact that a lot of ROI supporters tend to wish Scotland to fail, while the majority of Scottish based Celtic Supporters wish the ROI will win as I do. NOW that does bug me. Maybe not being of Irish decent and have never set foot in either north or south, and have no intention or desire to ever do so, may confuse my opinion, but I really cannot get my head round it. For heavens sake, we are in the 21st century. If others wish to live in the past, let’s just laugh at them and pray for them.

TBB, Whittaker is playing due to injuries to others.

Naismith is playing reasonably regularly for a top 10 epl team. I’m not a fan of his but let’s be fair. He was a stick out for the currents a year or so ago before his injury.

Naibalance — Kilmarnock player played for huns

We’ve moved into a Holiday Park next to Princess Rose and Ronald Mac for a few weeks while work is going on at oor hoose. You’ll know where that is.

We are where we are but heyho and then I come on here and read such self serving, inhumane and hypocritical posts.

DBBIA is someone I hugely respect. He hit the nail on the head earlier. Spot on.

    Geo

Imo hes a d[f]ud….His move down south facilitated in the usual way…ie playing under different rules from say Celtic players and given false appraisal from the tabloids to keep the gravy train running, he was a stick out because he cheated his way through games with the likes of Collum giving him carte blanche to dive and feign injury.

    Whittaker is just shite. :)
