Lions Roar, the last giant standing, CQN Mag is out!

824

Issue 16 of CQN Magazine is out today and (in my never humble opinion) is our best yet.  We are right up to date, with coverage of the Scottish Cup final.  Phil Mac Giolla Bhain gives historical perspective on Celtic’s position as the last apex in the game.

You’ve ready plenty of great stories of how people got their tickets Seville and we bring you a very Celtic story on how one man got his.  Did you notice we’ve mentioned Willie Wallace a bit recently?  Some of the reasons why are covered by two of Scotland’s best writers, Brogan Hogan and Archie MacPherson, excerpts of their contributions to Heart of a Lion are here for you.

There are lots more great articles….. including our cover theme, The Lions Roar Again Event.  The remaining Lisbon Lions are back at Celtic Park for a Q&A and Lisbon film show, in aid of 1254125.  The first event was one of those special Celtic occasions, if you missed it, make sure you get along this time.

Opportunities like this don’t come along often.  Book your tickets for the event here, bring the family.

DON’T TRY TO READ THE MAGAZINE FROM THE GRAPHC BELOW, that is just a teaser.  For a proper read, go here.  Use the navigation buttons at the bottom to flick through pages or zoom in.

  3. Pleased for WGS but let’s be honest -the SFA are complete shower of incompetents and cheats from CO down through the refereeing department to the press and PR people

If it meant we could play in a fair league Iwould happily see the SFA merged with the others into a BFA

Lived there for over ten years and really never found any anti scottish sentiment, the opposite in fact.

We are both too wise to fall in to any traps. But, the general feeling I get on here is that the Irish based support always seem to have it in for our national team, while I cannot wait to watch Robbie Keane etc go about the business. Just my opinion. But I understand your point entirely. :))

  13. Weefrathe, Name & Shame them. I have often been taken aback by Scottish lads attitude towards the National Team. Apart from anything the better the National Team do the better the Co-Efficient. Why on earth would any Irish lad who follows a Scottish based team not want Scotland to do well apart from the rare times that we play each other.

  14. Question to the much maligned Didier Agathe.

You had the privilege of playing with great footballers such as Larsson, Lambert, Mjallby and the rest: Who was the best player you played with at Celtic?

I was lucky to play with great players. But in the locker rooms, I was even more impressed by the humility of those players. And you can’t have a team without the players really knowing each other. In our team, we had such a great team spirit, and that made a difference!

The best player I played with was Lubo which is also my best friend. They were all great, but Lubo had that little something. Something special.
