To be fair to the media hacks, the close season can be a bit dry for news, so it is no great surprise to see them continue to a nefarious campaign on inappropriateness where it was established in clear legal terms that inappropriateness did not exist.

I anticipate they will soon be flabbergasted at Steven Gerrard’s general magnificence and move on.  Just like the SPFL already have.  Murdoch MacLennan, a newspaperman, will have to suck it up until then.

Newco and their acolytes now know there is no issue with MacLennan, but they are looking for a face-saver elsewhere.  Keep your eyes open for this.

    goodmorning chhaps you may recall i posted just over a month ago , about the loss of our wee boxer dug, the current joke about douglas has worn very thin (never on CQN,i may add)…..this weekend we aquired a pre-loved boxer(whatever TF That means) this wee(ahem) has found her forever home.     On another note I received a lovely wee message from Vanessa Riddle’s dad Chris about his lovely daughter and what was achieved for her via this site and through other Celtic supporters. While it was addressed to me the sentiments were extended to the thousands of fans who got behind Vanessa and the Riddle family at a time of horrific hardship and distress.

     

     

    When you receive such a message it just fuels your desire to do better in the name of this football club and its fans. Walfrid set out a vision and a legacy and amidst all the lunacy of everyday life we, as fans of this fantastic football club, can and will make a difference to those who are in need of a helping hand.

     

     

    So, no matter what you do today, no matter where you go or who you meet, go on get out there and make a difference – while always having a laugh and with a smile on the coupon.

    I’d rather have Land of Hope and Glory for a national anthem than God save the queen. At least it’s about the country and it’s people than a person born into privilege. Besides the tune was written by a Catholic, Edward Elgar.

     

     

    Whilst I’m on the subject I’d Like Caledonia as the Scottish anthem instead of that anti-English dirge Flower of Scotland! (Boak).

    I love the way there are guys in here always talking about celtic not doing this and not doing that, ffs we are one club in a 42 club set up. We cant just do as we wish because we are bigger and or have more money that the other club and sorry but I dont want my club to bully itself into a position, the wrong ones will get their, rangers died sevco are a joke and are led by a clown, karma is a bitch

    It wouldn’t take much to alter the words slightly to bring it up to date. For instance the last line of the first verse begins ‘Thine Empire’ , I would change that ‘your people’.

     

     

    Did you know 55% of English people would rather that was the National anthem than GSTQ? That will be everyone who isn’t an Anglican!
