Ah yes Izzy. One of my favourite players. I remember him jumping the hoardings and going to the fans for scarves and hat.
You’re also right about the roller coaster effect of the CL. I hate being in the qualifiers but I love the excitement, the early involvement in Europe instead of having to wait to September and the elation of making it through to the next qualifier. It’s also great when we win through the final qualifier at Celtic Park to get into the Group stages. Celtic Park rocked when we beat Spartak Moscow on penalties to qualify and it was great last season against Helsingborgs. Hopefully we can have another such night against Shakter although I would prefer a 3-0 first leg victory for us :-))

There was an item on bbc news early Saturday morning on the ideal toast n cheese.
They had a chef on … she said no such thing as best… its all down to personal taste.
She did say bread must be toasted on at least one side before cheese applied.. otherwise its cheese on bread
