It’s the empty seats that you should worry about not the grumblers.Iam sure the sound of silence would suit most players but grumbling from your support is part and parcell of being a footballer. Iam sure anyone under performing at their work could expect to be criticised .
Certain players are too busy thinking about the latest Bentley that’s coming out to even notice the crowd reaction. The irony is they keep getting picked regardless of sub standard performances.
Play some of the fringe players but have the courage to stick with it for more than one game.That will build confidence more than any cheering.

I am worried about the empty seats and I might be adding mine to it next year but that will be due to either the recession or Celtic plc’s response to the Sevco affair.
This year has been a successful football year and might get better yet.
Nobody at any work I know is treated to the reaction that footballers get, especially from people who state they are supporters. If I was a Dundee fan, I might have cause to be annoyed at the fare and form. If I wa san Aberdeen fan I might think we spent a lot to not get top six.
But try and convince anyone outside CP that we are having a bad season and you will get laughed at more than by the folk fae Dingwall.
