Midfield protection

930

While Neil Lennon’s mind will be more engaged with preparations for next season than SPL results between now and then he will be a bit alarmed at how porous his midfield has been recently. Celtic have been leaking goals at the back in an alarming manner but the cover from midfield has contributed most to the problem.

Injuries have been disruptive but it’s surprising that the team shape has not been maintained, irrespective of who is playing.

Good point! We peaked – disappointing we got turned-over rather harshly.

That said – expect us to to come back for more of the same year-on-year – maybe one year we will manage a Seville type run!

However its all about opinions, and my opinion is supported by the stats, which say we have shipped 30 points to date.”

You can believe it all you like but don’t use the 30 points dropped as evidence for it. That is merely evidence that we are dropping points. It tells you precisely the square root of nothing about the coaches’ personalities or approaches.

Now, do you have any pertinent evidence or are you guessing blindly?

  10. Whatever the amount more is that they can charge for being in the division they end up in will be offset by the amount less from who have made their point this season but won`t be buying into Charlie`s Chocolate Factory next year.

Incidentally, I believe I / we would be better off never mentioning Sevco but it`s kind of in the genes I`m afraid.

For green to turn up with a black and white tie at the game on Sunday, shows the desperation at ibrokes.

According to a couple of st mirren fans in the work gilmour will vote against any reconstruction along with Ross county.

This will enable green to increase season book prices as stated in their share prospectus.

The problem green will face is the hun fans are becoming disillusioned by what they watch on the park and his constant rambles.

With season book increases we will see how loyal the loyal are.

I wouldn’t touch Owen Coyle for two reasons

    1) we already have a good manager who has the potential to be a great manager

    2) I don’t rate Coyle as a manager …. My ideal manager is a guy who consistently over achieves with the resources he has & the only time Coyle has done that was at Burnley.

Oh, and lastly , he comes across as being too friendly with the press.

Tighten the belts indeed. They still do not learn from their mistakes and continue to live outside their means. They will loose £12m chasing the Third Division dream. By the end of May, they will be down to £8m cash, prior to any cash injection of fresh season ticket money.

If they loose £12m next year they will be insolvent again, unless they find some new cash!

Altogether now, we will be having a party, when the zombies die!

Also the hordes didnt pitch up with anything like the cash he was needing

If they have to obtain qualification to the SPL on merit..ie 2yrs., I can’t see them making it ..without another share floatation…and , as we know the hordes aren’t very generous

  17. Jim Traynor has tonight responded to the ASA probe into the new Rangers club claiming to be Scotland’s most successful club. Having read his statement we thought that it would be appropriate to write to ASA outlining just some of the things written by Jim Traynor and published in the Daily Record. Here are some of the things Traynor has written on this matter.

Written by Mr James Traynor while employed as Sports Editor at Daily Record

“Rangers FC as we know them are DEAD. It’s all over” James Traynor

“They’ll slip into liquidation within the next couple of weeks with a new company emerging but 140 years of history, triumph and tears, will have ENDED.” James Traynor

“No matter how Charles Green attempts to dress it up, a newco equals a NEW CLUB. When the CVA was thrown out Rangers as we know them DIED.” James Traynor

“They were CLOSED and a newco must start from scratch although their fans will insist the history will be boxed up with the strips and balls and carried into the future with the NEW CLUB.” James Traynor

“Of course, they could let them back in while insisting the NEW CLUB has to accept penalties for the behaviour of the old” James Traynor

“Of course Rangers are guilty of shaming the game and they accept they have to be punished. But how many more times must they be kicked?” James Traynor

It tells me the approach can be improved,I would respectfully suggest that points gathering is the objective of any team.

The team is selected by the Management team and whether it is palatable or not we are not playing well,we have no consistent structure or recognised ” first” team.

I believe an alternative view would be of use to NL and would ultimately improve our performances.

I dont care about the Coaches personalities but I do care about tangible evidence which is there in front of us.
