Organisation beats an expansive system that leaves us woefully exposed.
The gaps between Celtic players is frightening and this necessity to have both full backs pushing up the park is torturing us time and time again.
Continually playing forward passes that just aren’t there. Boyata’s got punished, but others also guilty. Genuinely didn’t realise Kris Commons was playing until the 38th minute (but then its not the best feed I’m watching on)

Molde very well drilled. Will be very difficult to find a way through them. Best chance might be to break from one of their breaks when they commit some men forward.

I’m in the pro Ronny camp but I have to admit that was utter Shyte from 4 mins onwards. No one taking responsibility for changing the tempo. The whole team are terrified of 2 bomb scares at centre half.

If Celtic lose this match I really think it is time for people to be honest and say this needs to stop and Deila needs to be taken in tomorrow morning and relieved.

I am sick of performances like this.
The mistakes we make are ones which other teams simply don’t.
Molde aren’t a great team but they know how to play against us. We are so predictable.
Take far too many passes to get the ball forward, allow the opposition to pack and organise their defence, try an intricate through ball or shoot widely over.
Then repeat.
Indisputable facts – 1st half.
Molde tactically superior to Celtic. Allow Celtic to retain possession, defend in depth, wait for a mistake and then attack with pace. They have done their homework and have successfully exploited our weaknesses.
Celtic with the majority of possession are struggling to break down a well organised defence. Ponderous and mistake prone in the build up means that any chances have been limited to a couple of half chances. LG should have done better when a good position but conditions likely had a lot to do with his poor touch.
They may be average but they’re well organized. Remember they’re top of the group for a reason.
Scott Brown, captains performance my arse, he can’t wait to get rid of the ball. Pass side ways, pass backwards… Clueless

As I said on previous thread – how can the fools among us shout about us winning?
This a seriously shit Celtic team and it and management are being kept alive by winning against Vanarama type teams in the increasingly irrelevant Scottish league.
We are as much of a laughing-stock on the field, as the huns are off it – this Norwegian team could score FIVE tonight.
That is the worst 45 mins I have seen from Celtic for years. Literally years.

We need a huge second half shake, but they will sit in and it will be a hard slog.
Why do we need to try to horse into teams who want to sit back and let us do just that, are we that thick, that naive?

Surface poor and waterlogged. But what a shambles. Everyone awful, passing dreadful. A spineless performance after a good start.
Passing teams off the park is fine if it’s punctuated by passes which actually hurt the opposition. A slow build up is fine if you suddenly inject a bit of pace or an incisive forward pass.
We seem to be capable of neither. The pitch is making passing difficult but not as difficult as we seem to be finding it. Ronny has to at least try to sort it out. No disrespect but we should be beating teams of this standard.
This is difficult to watch. The same players making familiar mistakes. Cheap goals given away.
The tactic of trying to pass through a swamp seems optimistic. Long balls to Ciftci to hold up, put pressure on defenders for mistakes, with Leigh working around him makes more sense to me in these conditions.
Our opponents have come back from 2 down against us several times now. Have Celtic got what it takes?

Right up to the last 30 yds we’ve been moving well, hit the 30 yd mark and we become static no one seems to be trying to find space or trying to create space.
I was really surprised they didn’t nick the ball off one of our centre backs. They are too close to Efe and Dedryck in that first half. Thing is we have a manager I suspect who is unable to change things due to the players at his disposal but primarily because he is unwilling to adapt to suit the actual 90 minutes.
Hardly a player who has not given away possession. Given, not lost.
Passing so far very poor, but, and it’s a big but, conditions are atrocious. Playing into Molde hands. Horrible defending for both goals, Boyata, Efe and Izzy all culpable.
Even WGS can’t defend the indefensibles tonight!
That first goal was a joke, 3 errors contributing to it.

One of the most disgraceful performances I have witnessed from a Celtic team- RD will carry the Can but it is players who deliver – or not. passing is non existent, defending is Primary 3 at best, high ball to non existent big Striker, passes to nowhere or Molde. We have time yet and we’ve done it before but U fear this group of players is well short of Celtic standard.

I always list two weeks as my worst Celtic supporting days – was in Zagreb then got soacked wet thro in Zurich watching pash Celtic teams. This feels like that.. Huge second half for RD. If he was sacked tomoro who would be unhappy? Sorry, our team looks clueless. 3 goals, unlikely.
