    Was interested earlier to hear the chatter regarding Fraudgers advising KT on his choice of Agent. Knowing what we know now regarding Fraudgers’ primary motivators, (Money and ego). Well I am obviously not accusing anybody of anything… but some signings over the last few years seemed, a bit difficult to see any sense in. Kundai Benyu, Kouassi, De Vries.

    Jimmy Nicholl has never been my favourite person but I understand that he and Neil Lennon are friendly.

     

     

    The point of this post is that I heard Jimmy on radio one day talking about an early game that he played for Manchester United. He admitted that it was his worst ever performance. Everything that he did went wrong.

     

     

    Tommy Docherty was the manager.

     

     

    After the game he spoke to Docherty and asked why he had not taken off and if he would ever play for Manchester United again.

     

     

    Docherty agreed that he had had a dreadful game but had not been taken off because he did not hide in the game and that was why he had left him on the pitch because he had the character to keep going.

     

     

    When I watched Boli struggling at times in the last couple of games, the one thing that has stuck me is that he has never hidden himself.

     

     

    Next game his performance improved and he went on to be a regular in the Manchester United team.

     

     

    Boli has made errors but I haven’t seen him hide yet.

     

     

    I can’t say if Boli will be a success yet but we need the faith of a Tommy Docherty to let this guy adapt to our environment and build his confidence to be a Celtic player.

    Norriem , sorry fot butting in . Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch Rob Roy were ground sharing last season as Rob Roy have sold their ground. I’m not sure if its still the case.

    So many folks Da’s were the same. The reason they were so pissed at Dalglish being sold. That was it. They knew we wouldn’t win the European cup again. Interesting enough Kenny himself lifted it 12 months later. In that great Liverpool side fondly remembered by Manchester United fans as the team that won european cups by passing the ball back to their own goalkeeper constantly.
