Mr Ogilvie, you’re going to need a bigger shredder

907

Lots of details became available yesterday but if you can drag yourself away from the most gratuitous, concentrate on the dates.

12 December 2012.

One week before the IPO.  Material information disclosed to the nomad?

21 June 2012.

Four weeks after Mr Whyte was banned from participating in Scottish football, enabling Newco to exist.

11 months before one of Mr Whyte’s collaborators is proposed as a director of Newco.

What the spivs have done to that club, assisted by the most stupid people to own keyboards and journos on-the-make, is breath-taking.  How did the idiots manage to take over?  There is a lesson for humanity here.

On a related subject:

“Craig Whyte’s involvement would be hidden from the SFA and SPL”.

Mr Ogilvie, you’re going to need a bigger shredder.

You and your organisation are being openly mocked.  What was patently obvious to anyone remotely interested in following events to their logical conclusion a year ago is now evident to all.

I have no interest in you resigning now.  All the damage which could have been done to our game due to a lack of penetrative oversight, which is your job, has been done.  Your persistence is merely confirmation that the levels of corporate governance at the SFA remain unchanged.

Fans from SPL and SFL clubs found rock among the sand to build foundations on last year.  There remains a love of our game, and our clubs, among the detritus, but we have unquestionably been failed by the custodians of our game at Hampden Park, who I am convinced, will again bury their heads in the sand.

There is no going back, no quick fix, no one can put this right.  Nothing will ever be the same again.  Accept this and move on.

  12. Football Kenya Federation (FKF)

has been forced to step in to

    resolve a dispute between three

clubs who are all claiming the

    rights to on-fire international

    midfielder, Victor Wanyama.

    The three local clubs are

    positioning themselves for the

expected windfall to be paid as

    solidarity fees should Wanyama

    move from Scottish Premier

    League champions Celtic in the

    summer transfer window as widely

    expected.

Wanyama has been said to be

    worth at Sh1.4billion by most

clubs who want him in the

    summer transfer window. This

means that there will be at least

Sh70million to be paid out as

solidarity fee and this is the

money the local clubs want a

    share of .

    On Wednesday, FKF chairman Sam

    Nyamweya convened a meeting

    with representatives from Nairobi

    Country Bus, JMJ Academy and

Nairobi City Stars who all want a

    share of the solidarity fees.

    However, only representatives

from JMJ and Country Bus whose

    claim is being pushed by

    Wanyama’s father Noah Wanyama,

    turned up. City Stars chairman,

    Peter Jabuya, declined to attend

the meeting, saying there is no

    dispute.

City Stars are the only club so far

to have received a share of

    Wanyama’s transfer fees when

they were paid Sh500,000 as part

    of the player’s Sh100million

transfer fee paid by Celtic when

    the player was signed from

    Bierschot.

    “According to our records and

which Celtic relied on to pay us,

Wanyama was at City Stars in the

2007-2008 season and no one has

    disputed this.

“We expect that when he moves

again, we will still be entitled to a

share equivalent to the period he

was at our club. Those who have

    claims should provide documents

    to back it up.

“Otherwise, for us, there is no

issue. We can only be affected if

there is a dispute that Wanyama

was not at our club in 2007,” said

    Jabuya.

    Roasted Cheese for me.

What I like though,is to make 2 slices of French toast.Turn one over when 1st side cooked and pile grated cheese on top.

Lift the other slice and place cooked side on top of cheese.

Turn a few times and the egg will bind both slices together, sealing the cheese inside.

When you cut into this the melted cheese runs out.

    Not to be missed.tastes great.

(I’ve had a couple of heart scares though!).
