Best wishes to Neil Lennon is his new role as Hibernian manager. Without wanting to be impolite about Alan Stubbs, Hibs have traded-up in getting a manager of international repute and experience at the highest level of the game.
Neil is a talented coach who got unlikely results across his Celtic career. He’ll bring Hibs up next season and establish a platform to rebuild the club.
Best wishes too to fellow Irishman Anthony Stokes, who left the club yesterday six years after joining from Hibs. The best of Anthony was there for all to see at the Scottish Cup final. He’s still only 27 and, should he find the appetite, he should still have a few good years in the game. His Celtic ‘thing’ finished years ago.
Celtic legend, Charlie Gallagher, will be signing copies of his autobiography at Waterstons, East Kilbride, this Saturday (11th) from 2pm, and 2pm the following Saturday (18th) at Waterstones, Braehead. Get along to see him!

Just woke up this morning to my phone buzzing on my bed side table. Yoda – I thought to myself – that must be Mark Warburton trying to return my cold call to him last night when I was trying to sell flying pigs. So I picked up my phone, realised it was just my alarm going off. Anyway, I had a full conversation with Mark and he tells me loads of brilliant stuff about big tissues. How they are 3 ply thick, really strong and you can use them both to blow your nose and wipe your a… However in amongst all the gems of our discussion which unfortunately I cannot tell you about we chatted on my phone to myself pretending to talk to Mark for ages. He’s a really nice guy. I like him.

Which of course, it wasn’t. That and some glaring errors in his piece suggest he either didn’t write it, or researched it very, very badly.
Correction; one person slagged me off for providing a link to a blog that made that suggestion.
Makes my previous post read as less dramatic, however it’s closer to the truth.
