Thank you I am sick of all these people painting the polis with the same brush! I for one know that my pc daughter was brought up in a respectable home with respect for everybody. Like every aspect of life there is good and bad and yes I have great respect for the GB and indeed have financially supported them. I do not like the way the police are currently dealing with them. however I do not like any sectarian bile or pro IRA anthems at the footy but please guys I know many many good policemen and women, many of whom support the Celts so stop all this anti authoritarian crap. I have no doubt what the guy in Inverness was singing. He got away with it…fine. HH

The thing that gets me and brings me into the area of whataboutery is this: Where were all these sharp eyed and eared police officers when for two hours tens of thousands of Rangers fans belted out the most awful sectarian and racist bile at the CO-OP League Cup Final?.

Not really, it all depends on the GB thinking about the ramifications their actions will have on the club.
Now I’ve got no problem with most of their stunts and songs, but the anti-poppy banner was always going to reflect incredibly badly on the club. They knew that and went ahead with it anyway.
The GB are so preoccupied with whether or not they could they didn’t stop to think if they should.

“He said he is a die hard Rangers fan & it killed him playing for Celtic. The pain was made worse when a couple of weeks after he signed for Celtic he heard that Rangers had wanted him.
He reckons he hated every minute of his time at Celtic.”
As I say, she challenged him and he wouldn’t back down!
She also asked how come he had ginger hair when he played for City but his hair is black now. Muppet.
If the OO were a new organisation, they would never be allowed to clog up our streets singing their bile.

Unlike yourself they do not appear to conform to meek subserviance.
The ramifications of their actions was to draw attention to the fact that not everyone at Celtic park is a polis or soldier.
In a few days time you will be celebrating the start of war instead of comemoration the lost souls, thats a direct result of the compliance you and the rest of the censors had in condemning dissent.
I felt just as bad as melrose did when he signed for Celtic.

As I get older, like many others, my forgetfulness can be an inconvenience or worse. However, it was very good to log on to CQN and find a reference to the Ramsden Cup final and the absence of ra The Rangers from it. (I had to google to remind myself of how they went out). It’s like getting good news for the first time all over again (you know what I mean).
So now, I am planning to forget temporarily the following in no particular order and then joyfully remember them over the course of the next week or so.

I made a complaint about a police officer swearing at me and deliberately stopping us from entering a car park with plenty of time to spare, he was a pompous pri&k, I kept my cool and got his badge number.
I reported him immediately after the game on the Saturday, I received a call that night from the investigating officer, who cam to my house on the Monday, the first thing he did was apologise, then take a statement. By the Friday he came back and explained what the outcome was. He was a great guy very pleasant to talk to and restored my faith in decent policing. The guy who caused the ruckus was given a warning and removed from policing at CP on match days.
Well done I say.

that is a disgraceful comment, and shows us you are ready to believe everyone else over the word of a Celtic supporter, even when its been made clear by the judge they could not possibly have identified an individual.
As for the pigs, there are a load who continually come on here moaning about the rep we give them, there are good and bad like everywhere else, I’m firmly of the belief that there are far more bad than good in the polis, its a brotherhood.

No, I’m in favour of the GB either showing some brains and not get Celtic into trouble. if the wish to protest against the black n tans go do it at the Rememberance ceromonies and not Celtic Park or indeed at ANY Celtic game.
Thousands of Celtic players, staff and fans who fought (and in many cases died or were injured) to keep the world free are among those being remembered, not just the black n tans. Do the GB not believe those people deserve to be remembered and honoured?
