Ye can’t beat the gingers:)
I’d move Armstrong over to the right and GMS to the left, both struggling a bit IMO. Commons and Griffiths on round 70 minute mark. Heat will take its toll. Great save from big Craig – world class.
My Virgin anywhere stream is living up to its name…anywhere but here? Only saw last 10 minutes and patches of the rest. Johansen needs to calm down, is the heat getting to him? Apart from that my arse is twitching every time they get the ball and I need to calm down in the same way as our wee mini Viking.
Fingers and everything else crossed here in cloudy Lancashire.

MIT called it right SJ playing his way to booking. The way this ref and his assistants have been officiating is worrying….can see a red or penalty for nothing…for either side.

The most lenient , tackle & challenge wise referee I have seen in Europe for years.
If we keep our shape , take note Lustig , and show some more composure up front we will
see this through.

I’m more worried now then before kick off. Anything could happen here. We need a goal during the 90 minutes. I can’t see it ending scoreless.

Most of our problems are coming down that side but gms is the 1 thats doing the most to get up with Ciftci so he is being asked to do a lot.
Im still not seeing it from Cifti go on big bhoy prove me wrong and get us a goal in the scond half. H.H
Think we’re comfortable at the moment, my only concern is Boyata on that pitch with his stray passes. Easy ball over to big Virgil and let him do the passing…Keep it tight Celtic….

GMS has had 3 players to beat when he gets the ball. He needs to chip it forward and run on to take more pressure of the defence or find a pass. Dribbling it past 3 on this pitch isn’t going to work
Not a game for our usual style. The Bhoys look like they have been told to sit back and contain. As a result, Nadir is often left isolated up front. GMS is working very hard down the right and may need to be withdrawn after 15 more mins. I think he is doing a very solid job in that position. Much more than we get from young James in games like these.
Would like to see us get a few shots on goal. Commons will be a match winner later when he sits just in front of their back four.

this is not a great team that we are playing, and we should be able to beat them comfortably … but we aren’t palying smart, and the heat could work against us …. we just need one goal, however, and this is done and dusted.
If we keep them scoreless- they will have to open up and we will get our chances

mncelt … I am not the biggest fan of KC … he isn’t a great team player … but, I agree, this is the sort of game where he typically shines …. he and LG could be the difference in the second half.
