  1. SAINT STIVS on 8TH DECEMBER 2019 4:58 PM

    Sweetezst one yet.

remind and tell any huns, that yes they were the better team, andf yes, we did score an offside goal, and yes the wall kept us in it, and yes, we jusst did ten in a row.

Stivs …you just stole my post….God bless yir ole fhella.

  2. Oh Hampden in the Rain

    Celtic beat the Huns again

1-0 was the score when it came time up

Neilly’s Bhoys had won the Cup

  3. The big question should be…..

Why did tav pen give the chance to the bestest mostest expensive striker in the wurld?

Did slippy slip up again ?

All this and more will not be discussed on scottish media any time soon

    Ojai c.s.c.

  4. An absolute heartbreaker for them. Brittle psychology showed itself after the missed penalty, all belief drained out of them.

    Hun tears 😭

  5. Slippy says Fraser had one of the best games of his life!!!!

Naw, it wisny even in his top 20!

  6. Paul The Spark on

I think winning and not playing well will be a good thing going forward. Expect to see a different attitude in the league game at Celtic Park

  7. fourstonecoppi on

right dust settled ……..its the hope that kills them, ye take yer chances etc etc but ghuys why were we not at the races????

  8. Hun on Shortie takin’ aboooot “clean” goals………………

    :))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  9. On a serious note.

Today’s game will result in the introduction of VAR where the likes of Beaton and Dallas will be adjudicating.

We will need to score 5 to get 2.

  10. Option 1. Play as we have been and thrash the living daylight out of them.

Option 2. Play well enough to beat them. Even by one goal would do.

    I didn’t realise there was a 3rd option.

Option 3. Play utter drivel, concede lots of chances, concede a penalty, get a man sent off, score an offside goal and have Fraser Forster win the game for us.

On balance, Option 3 is the best. They will be crushed to know that even when we have played the worse we ever can they aren’t able to beat us.

  11. INCREDIBLE!

The physiological effect of this result will be enormous when you consider what we just witnessed.

We played majority of the game without a recognised striker.

We never got out of second gear in a attacking sense all game.

Morelos came into the game in great form having scored a barrow load in Europe for them, still couldn’t break his duck against us after a clutch of chances, one even from a spot kick. The ? remains above his head.

They played against 10 men for nearly 40mins.

A lot of leniency towards Morelos by Collum, with around 7-8 fouls most players would’ve picked up two yellows and the red.

They had a lot of possession and a heap of chances.

With all of the above in their favour they still couldn’t beat us, this will smash their belief whilst reinforcing ours.

Even though it was backs against the wall at times (see what I did there) there was a feeling of inevitability about the outcome, especially our goal when we got the free I thought this is a goal for us.

Frasers performance heals all the suffering I endured watching Goram keep us out game after game in the 90s, thank you big chap!

What a special win, I will remember this one vividly for years to come.

Work in a few hours but ‘what the hell do we care now ‘ …:)

  12. Shortbreas saying Mthe fat columbian had 20 or so chances today.

    Seriously…………………or just more comedy gold?

  13. Ohh dear…2 penalties not given…even tho Gollum and the BT ref judged it no penalty both times…;-))

  14. Having a wee drink to celebrate our victory so apologies for the typo’s.

They will get worse as the evening progresses.

    C’NOM EHT ELTCCI!!”$%^!!

  15. Wee Jeremie

    Buzzing 😂😂😂

    What a brilliant interview

    🏆🏆🏆🍀🏆🏆🏆🍀🏆🏆🏆🍀🏆

  16. This is how it feels to be a Celtic supporter: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.

For me, this makes up BIG TIME for the times without number that we have played them off the park and lost. Cloud 9? Me, I’m on 99 and climbing…….

    Thank you, Celtic.

  17. MELBOURNE MICK

I’m listening to the rain absolutely belting down outside and thinking of you across half the world, up at all hours to watch the Celtic, having to ‘sweat’ through that, knowing that you must have been loving it, every minute of it. At least our sweat (due to the performance) can be washed away with the rain and ………. of course a small libation or three.

The Celtic Family are truly loving this December! I wonder how we will feel by the end of it?

    Ave Ave

  18. DBHOY

This results ruins them for the season, in my opinion.

    Long may it continue!

When we pump them at CP later on in the month the huns will want rid of their rookie manager.

After all, the job will have proved to much for him.

Personally I don’t think he has recovered from falling on his arse to deny Liverpool the EPL title.

    Poor thing.

    Bless.

  19. 1st Point. Pay big FF 40k a week if he wants it

    2. We need a right side midfield player Forrest once again vanishes at Hampden

  20. i'vehadtochangemymind on

    Huns, you is stupid

    And shi*,e

There’s nowt better than an offside goal going in against the best manager in scouse

  21. Right, I need to take

    Wee Hector out

    Enjoy 😂😂😂

    🏆🍀🏆🏆🏆🍀🏆🏆🏆🍀🏆🏆🏆

  22. Frimpong is so like Jinky, heart of a lion, passion, dodgy sending aff, dancing in the dark with big Julian.

I am very happy, we won a cup, I don’t really care how, I have a large measure in a large glass in my hand.

    Oh and………Lurkin Huns GIRFUY

  23. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    What a brilliant victory.

    Where to begin?

    1. Well done Lennie & the team. Character

    2. We played close to our worst, they played close to their best. We won.

    3. Anyone old enough to remember the 90s will know the old R@ngers did that to us regularly. It’s a psychological killer.

    4. Morelos, on the biggest platform, was shown up. He will NOT be sold for mega bucks. Clubs looking for a £2.5m striker (his true value) will be chased by Sevco. Clubs looking for a £7m striker will pass.

    5. Congratulations to Willie Collum. He was determined not to book Morelos and completed his mission. Celtic should call out this blatant soup taker in the strongest possible terms. £6,000 is the precedent for slagging him, set by the SFA as s punishment for you know who – I’ll contribute to a crowd fund.

    6. Watch out for the SMSM going Tonto … and enjoy it

    7. Finally, a big thank you to the guys at John Lemon’s bar in Benalmadena where I had the enormous pleasure of spending my afternoon. If you have a “bucket list” ….

    Hail hail to you all

  24. Ray Singh-Carr on

On balance I’d have preferred us to blow them off the park and win comfortably, but on the other hand I think the nature of this victory will hurt them all the more.

With Young Boys needing a victory to be sure of Europa qualification they face another stern test next thursday, which I now expect them to bottle, whilst we can rest a few away to Cluj having already won our Group.

I can also see Motherwell taking points off them next sunday too.

    If Carlsberg did Decembers eh?
