  1. Tom English has went out of his way to soothe some aching hun hearts with his match report.

No striker, and a man down for over 40 mins and we win the match and create the best chance by far in open play.

First thing I said on the bus, we did a Walter Smith. Played shite, outplayed and goalie saves the day but still won. Tommy Burns will be laughing in haven⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

    *********

My thoughts entirely. We were due that today. Tommy’s teams often annihilated thems and ended up on the losing side. One particular game when the horrible goram saved thems from a tanking. Today was sweet revenge.

  3. So as the Guinness and wee side gins start to take effect I have decided not to stop at TEN tonight and hit the end of the season, possibly carrying on into next season as well.

So to keep myself entertained I reviewed my favourite paintings.

Most, in fact probably all of you will be well versed in the mystery and intrigue of the Mona Lisa…BUT it pales into insignificance in artistic excellence when compared with my own favourite

Haven’t yet seen a repeat of Goldson’s kick on Edouard…has it been erased? Resultant free-kick is swept into the net from one of nine offside Celtic players…Sweet irony!

How important is the game for them against Young Bhoys?

Papped out of Europa and then off to ‘high flying’ Motherwell on Sunday.

The Dave King shit show could unravel quite quickly.

  6. The blogger 9.33pm

Celtic have won the league cup, Celtic have won their Europa group, top of the league …. let the Huns stew in their own pish …. we have much to enjoy

We can worry about the “Sevs” when they start winning the big games

  7. I don’t know when I have felt so happy at a Celtic victory. So so often we have played them off the park and lost. Just the reverse today. Can’t beat that feeling.

Let’s hope we hammer them at Celtic Park.

  8. My Jobo’s three

    El Gran Murella

    Wee Frimpong

    Big Julien

Our usual suspects .. Brown, McGregor, Forrest, Christie were a bit rubbish but sometimes winning is a mentality

    God bless Neil Francis

St Stivs … my mum passed in 2008 and the same day Celtic beat Livingstone away 5-0… to this day I watched the game but couldn’t tell you who scored or played … my job that day was to look after my youngest nephew who was taking it hard (my mum hadn’t been great for a good while) … anyhow football does not mean too much but it can be a wee tonic at times

    Hail Hail

    Can someone check my spelling?

If “MoreLos” is the singular does that mean the plural is “MoreLosses”?

    Hail hail

  10. GFTB on 8TH DECEMBER 2019 9:25 PM

Agree it’s all about the result. But when people are talking about the game context is very important.

Frimpong is so like Jinky, heart of a lion, passion, dodgy sending aff, dancing in the dark with big Julian.

I am very happy, we won a cup, I don’t really care how, I have a large measure in a large glass in my hand.

    Oh and………Lurkin Huns GIRFUY

Remember when we met in Babbity’s after a Trophy Day? We both had a large measure in a large glass that day as well. Oh and ……….. lurkin Huns GIRFUY!

  12. Agree that Tom English’s report on the BBC is mince – just the usual from him.

Looking forward to work tomorrow! :-))))))))))

Just had a wee read on hun website. They are utterly scunnered. Delicious!

Felt confident about this final coming up until I took the dogs out this morning. Howling wind and rain can be quite a leveller. I knew it would play a part and actually thought it would produce quite a few goals. Went from up there (the goal) to down here (pen. red card) in such a short time…However, if there is one goalkeeper who gives me confidence when facing a spot-kick, it is big Fraser. God bless yer cotton socks big man…I almost shed a tear when he lifted the cup to such a resounding roar. And a cuddle for wee Jeremie. Hope it’s the first of many trophies for him at CP.

  14. Stephbhoy67 9.58pm

Cheers, I don’t disagree with you, but working in an office of around 1000 people probably 700+ Sevs, living in a scheme where it might be 60 / 40 in the Sevs favour …. Stevie Gee has given them hope … Neil Francis delivers reality …. that result was massive today

I know Celtic will lose a final and am ok with that but the Huns with their compliant media is a total joy

And Andy Goram could nae lace big Frasers gloves … canny rendered the flying pig keeping Barcelona to NIL :-)

Tom English can write what he wants..

There’s no cure for a boot in the baws.

  16. Playing Morgan upfront today gave us the same pattern of play as when we played Johnson upfront at Ibrox. They have missed their boat. We get eddy back firing and we’ll walk through them at Celtic Park. Elyounoussi will hopefully be back on form too after a run of games.

ParkheadCS, Natknow – re TE, don’t sweat it.

That’s why he’s not called Tom Maths.

Just caught your post about the Oz tims up in the middle

of the night, whatever happened to that good celt who had

    a blog about that subject?

Agree with you about young Jeremy and the similarities with

    wee Jinky.

  20. OK, I’ve changed my mind 3 or 4 times about my Jobo3 well about my 3rd man, FF & Julien are defos but I’ve tossed & turned on my 3rd choice, better mail my selections straight away or I won’t sleep tonight.

When we all come down from the high we will realise that we played absolute shite today. I know these games take a life of their own but this was a very poor performance. Anyhow as I say I’ll think a bit more about that next Thursday.

  21. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

St Stivs, may Bill’s soul rest in peace.

After Jeremie’s sending off , our team’s mental strength came through and sense of comradeship was evident. Neil has got a real tight bond in our squad.

Morelos tackle on Jullien’s achilles was almost as bad as Bhougherra’s on Gary Hooper in that cup replay game in 2011.

An earlier post mentioned the 1992 cup semi final. The first Ibrox club did to us that night what we did to the sevs today in the same weather conditions. In that game we were denied a stonewaller when Brown brought down John Collins. We were given the usual nothing to see , GTF Timmy after the game,

    ——–

Very true. It’s pretty much that simple.

  23. Tom english is able to comment on offsides (not given) and penalties (given or not) yet makes no comment re Morelos being due a red card / 2 yellows.

What a devious little man he is.

    An utter rat

  24. Oh the Celtic were shite!

    Oh the Celtic were shite!

But in Fraser Forster, the Bhoys won the fight

Currently enjoying a few beers with a frisson of Jack and Goldson tears!

    Wonderfull!

It is entirely obvious that refs have been warned of the buff. Never seen any player been warned early doors and then completely ignoring several transgressions afterwards.

He has perfected the ‘flick feet backwards’ move whilst hitting the turf. A fraud and failure against any level of class.

    Work be interesting tomorrow.

  25. Travellerbhoy,

If you feel like sharing a poem (or two) you will make this Celtic fan a very happy man!

All the best to you and yours big man.

We were rubbish today … but sometimes we do get the rub of the green … in a few years time who will remember who were the best finalists ? Maybe Fraser Foster deserved a winning medal more than anybody so again … who decides who deserves what ?

God bless Neil Francis Lennon ..

    Celtic to the core 🍀

  27. GFTB- – Roon ye! 😁

Hope all your jobbies are like hedgehogs.

    Did Broonie find his medal?

  28. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Art of War, tomorrow could be fun .

If the expected comments about our goal are made, i shall remind them of Morelos and one of his team mates being offside from a free kick when he scored at Tynecastle last season when they were unconcerned about a linesman missing a blatant offside decision.

  29. weebobbycollins on

Dallas Dallas…aye, but that was just Morelos and one other offside at tynecastle. Today we had at least nine or ten players in an offside position…hehehe
