    If CCV wants to stay … keep him … if he doesn’t show him the door …. games against the old Huns, new Huns or the next version of the Huns are a big draw to professional footballers whether we like it or not, I want CCV to stay and hopefully another trophy or two might swing it in our favour …. But if money or EPL is his goal (which is that enough) … then thanks … there is the exit :-) … got a feeling Ange will only want players who want to be there

    Point taken – and certainly summarises the Ange ‘ethos’ of they need to want to be here.

     

    I think this guy is pivotal to our post-Lenny rehab. Just a mountain who has given us total reassurance along that backline. Money could def turn his head – his fellow-American Mr Marsh at Leeds might fancy him. Absolutely sweet goal on his wrong peg too.

    Am still and always will be a Neil Lennon fanatic, over 20+ years as a player and manager he had brought me many many happy memories for me to get annoyed about a Covid hit season where players we bought whether some rate them or not … we all loved in a different world from March 2020…. Ange has a terrific attitude and I will just concentrate on our current manager while appreciating every other one before them…. I was a bit worried when Ange was appointed, is he a dreamer or is he actually the real deal … one trophy in the bag, a big point swung in the league after a terrible start …. He has won me over big time, am pretty sure you had his back from day one :-)

    They can kid on they like Celtic, they can be polite, they can even be likeable at times, they like to try and change the narrative of the blog … especially when it’s after a Celtic win …… BUT they can’t handle Celtic winning in their own backyard … the truth will always out them

    Yesterday’s fighting spirit aligned a lot with how Lenny represented us – until circumstances, capabilities – and some players – conspired to squib our 10. The disrespect and hate aimed at NFL by some bhoys has been way OTT.

     

     

    As for me having AP’s back… I actually posted on here about 6/8 months b4 we got him that he was a guy we should be talking to, given his abilities on many levels and environments.

     

     

    Delighted how he’s handling the job pal, absolutely delighted. Still say, tho, we triumphed despite a bit of a battering yesterday, which is the mark of a resilient – may I say title winning – team.

    I said earlier that throwing a broken bottle on to the pitch was much more sinister than an intact bottle that was unlikely to break on impact with the turf. Some wag on here called this a conspiracy theory and maintained the bottle had smashed on the goal-frame. We now know that not to be true – a broken bottle was thrown on the pitch together with other “shards of glass”, probably the remnants of the original.

     

     

    I watched the Ireland game the other week from the Aviva – spectators enjoying a pint at half-time as do those at games in England & Wales Rugby fans in Scotland, do likewise – yet football in Scotland(predominately in the west) is still in the ‘dark-ages’. Buckfast drunk & coke sniffed, before, during & after matches – a culture that never seems to change.

     

    The serving of alcohol in football grounds in Scotland was set back another ten years yesterday.

    I was off the blog for a while, ted card for stupid behaviour and then a wee break from everything online , the grief Neil was getting was nearly sending me over the edge :-)

     

     

    Looked in now and again and was sure you were all for Ange …. Well done

     

     

    After the way Neil was treated I honestly thought as soon as Ange hit a sticky pitch our media and some fans would be after him …. The league cup win was magic and again in the last few months watching all the interviews and Ange’s ideas and methods it’s so good … he is such a fit for our club

    When / If we win a double or a treble I will be telling people “ma mate Quadraphenian told me ages ago about Ange” …. Fellow Tim’s are allowed to embellish the truth :-)

    I think the fact that a fan thinks it’s acceptable to throw their empties onto the field of play …. If you could buy a pint for a fiver I think that ban would still sneak his half bottle in …. CCTV jail the Hun … it’s the only way to stop it… or deduct the Huns 20pts and let Hearts have a shot for 2nd place …. “If” we win the league

    You can’t possibly know that – you don’t know what’s in peoples’ minds – so why post it? Probably just to get others (“Anybody else think”) to join in and agree with you, and if it is repeated enough then it becomes blog truth?

     

     

    Some use these types of posts to infer that they are better Celtic supporters than others – what they think they gain by it beats me.

    My opinion some posters will post in a direction TLT she away from the the football, especially after a terrific result like today .. surely it’s nothing to do with being “a better Celtic fan” in my opinion it’s more to EK with just “being a Celtic fan” … each ti their own maybe you and me have a different view :.. I “think” some posters like to take the narrative away from Celtic fans posting about Celtic … personally I feel sorry for any poster who might post on here who doesn’t support Celtic … that must be a very sad life they lead … and there is some who live this life

    You nailed it with the added proviso. The tragedy is that across a wide swathe of the US of A, and worldwide, many who profess to be religious have an image of their God that doesn’t conform with certain colours, faiths and sexual orientations.
