Congratulations – wait till the first time he says ‘grandad’ you’ll really choke.

Congrats … any chance you can get the proud parents to think of Thomas (Rogic), Cameron (CCV) or Angelous for the new born grandson

03/04/2022 …. Brilliant day for the Ray Singh-Carr family 👍

  3. Taking nothing for granted but should we take care of St Johnstone next Saturday (another Celtic Park sunny 1500 kick off) then we’ll be nine points (ten with goal difference) clear before they go to St Mirren on Sunday. Should they drop points the SPL will be sh*tting themselves with the post split fixtures trying to avoid us winning it at home against the bottle throwers eleven.

I cheered big Nir’s yellow card nearly as much as CCVs winner :-)

    A terrific booking

  5. The negative psychological impact on all those connected to the Govan outfit will be huge. Manager, coaches, directors and supporters. Braga will be the first to benefit.

When Gerrard stated remit fulfilled, cheerio, not bothered about 2IAR or Europe, EPL here I come, the likes of Aribo, Kent, Kamara, and Goldson would have taken note. Goldson allowed to run down his contract in the expectation that the CL pot of gold would compensate for him leaving for nowt in the summer.

That CL pot of gold was supposed to be the second one but Malmo had other ideas.

Celtic have not played ball either, we were supposed to be rubbish again, what with a shambolic summer manager hunt and appointing a chubby bloke from some Japanese outfit. Blue heaven is now blue hell.

Chaps in the XKeys Wishaw having a splendid day. Funny old game, the football.

Listening to Captain Calum, he’s an intelligent young man, speaks very well about today’s game. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes on to make a reputation as a coach…

Whoooosh! I’m sure Maeda just ran past me and out the front door…

  7. Apart from their early goal, We absorbed all that they could muster especially in the second half. No doubt they will claim a couple of penalties but the ref was strangely not favouring the huns.

What a brilliant day. Celtic pap Sevco to all but win the League and my first wee grandson arrived in the world less than an hour ago. One happy Auld Tim hereabouts. COYBIG

Totally agree with you about big Nir – excellent job today, yellow card included,, he frustrated and annoyed der Hun. He is a valued member of our team.

Sturgeon called an urgent summit yet?

    :))

Fek aff wi that pish, ffs lets enjoy the win

  12. I used to enjoy the contributions of James Forrest on this blog but he was absolutely fuming with the appointment of Ange (can’t be any good – he’s never managed in Europe etc).

Will he now come on and share a bit of humble pie that I’m currently wolfing down regarding Starfelt? :)

Up to us now to avoid a helicopter sunday.

    ……………………………………………………………………….

The Huns wullnae win many games after the split, IMO.

St Mirren, I reckon, will get a point and will make a League Decider tantalisingly close to be had @ Celtic Park. Having Newco @ home right after being papped out (hopefully) in the Semi Final would be too much to bear for Mason Boyne and the rest of those neanderthals. They might have to make the Celtic Park game the 1st after the split. :))

Niro was indeed excellent when he came on.

Like TR at the beginning of the season (some wanted shot of TR whilst keeping faith with Leigh Griffiths FFS), many wanted Niro hunted. He’ wasn’t signed as a centre half and is not a centre half, but he’s a very tidy holding midfielder. He gives us many options.

    Long live Niro.

Best news of the day! Hope mum and bay doing ok!

  16. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

We wouldn’t have got through that today without Rogic, McGregor and Niro.

Need to be very careful who we let go. Experience is crucial in these games.

  17. Are we all sitting comfortably ready for BIGOT BROADCASTING COMPANYS disecting of celtics

Victory today . Introduced by the rangers legends .steven Thompson , Richard foster . And maybe McCann if he can agree a fee from r tonight . Was It a penalty . .

  18. Someone on FF saying “man for man they might be ahead of us now”

“it’s appalling. I’ll leave it for our hosts to comment further”.

There That’s all AP should have said. He’s given them the “Chelsea fans” get out.

Celtic’s PR team really need to wisen up.

  20. Did anyone else pick up Swally’s comment on the pen. I’m sure he said it wasnt a pen because after he was tripped he fell down ffs

Have Statement FC issued a statement yet

Twitter – Official Rangers Account #1690

Rangers can confirm having once again listened to our supporters and as a follow up to pulling out of the so called “Ange Homecoming Tour” as it was not Old Firmy enough, we have now concluded to bringing down the league season early and thus denying thems any opportunity to celebrate in front of us the people.

As a further get it roon yeese tims, we will indeed not be accepting any tickets for the final old firm game of the season as it no longer has any value in the eyes of our glorious fanbase, and we concentrate on the bigger prize, a europa trophy win , direct access to the champions league, and a scottish cup double, the first of its kind,

celebrate our unique unbroken history, and our 150 unparalled years, us the oldest club in the world, with a commemarative “the jelly pirateers” white blouson tersey and knickerbockers at a knockdown £115.

  23. TheLurkinTim on

VG Saint Stivs lol…sorry I just missed you on Friday…I’ll not let you know what D66’s initial response was when you said you wer MM ;-))

  24. Wondering when the statement will be forthcoming that they are not really interested in winning the

league as it is branded as the Cinch Premiership.

ps why were they cutting the grass after full time ?
