  1. Herald carrying a story of member of backroom team being struck by a missile at ht and requiring stitches.

    Utter scum support.

    Stands need to be closed.

No more enabling of this thuggery

  2. TET……………….

I fear you will be right. If anything the MSM might try to palm it off as an “OXX FXXX” thing…

    or the usual,

wans as bad as the ither – strategy

  3. A massive result, one that will carve out the landscapre for the forseeable.

Disaster for Sevco, they gambled everythin on CL. Once the Europa comes to an end, they are out of road.

  4. A Celtic statement read: “We can confirm that a member of our backroom staff was struck by a glass bottle. He required urgent medical treatment and stitches to a head wound. The matter is now in the hands of Police Scotland.”

  5. DEXTER P. BAMPOT

All guesswork as I think the powers that be don’t like the Derby to be a title decider and I don’t know if they will come to us after we have won the League. Don’ book anything on my calculations

  6. BB1

Yip, we will get dragged into it for sure

IMO it’s the perfect excuse for not giving thems any tickets for the next league game, sadly we won’t, they can’t even guarantee the safety of a pundit now it’s players from both sides, broken bottles FFS

  7. The Grauniad has let us down again — no EM match report.

No mugshot with his face looking as if he is having a thistle endoscopy.

Refreshing to have someone report on our game.

UPDATE: Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has also confirmed that a member of his backroom staff was struck by a bottle at Ibrox today.

    Thanks for hun commentary highlights,

    Their orc tears are delicious.

    ======

    My absolute pleasure.

    😉

  10. TFOD2.1 and their support — I wonder how the media will report all the goings on today?

Just how mature / sophisticated / fearless are the Tartan media?

What excuses will be allowed to take the focus of their horrible behaviour?

  11. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Always the same when Sevco lose, and R@ngers before them.

The vilest sporting institution on the face of the earth

SETTING FREE THE BEARS FOR RES. 12 & OSCAR KNOX on 3RD APRIL 2022 3:45 PM

And their attempt at the two man boat race with Messrs Struth & Wilton did not go well either

    ———

    Laughed out loud at that.

    Bravo.

  13. Compare and contrast — something to keep an eye on.

Oscars — WS slapping the roaster that is CR — the sky is falling in.

TFOD2.1 Park — bottles to the left of us / bottles to the right — what will the response be?

Political summit / statement from the Ref’s leader / PS press conference / Public apology to the countries watching the game?

  14. Got a feeling one or two are trying to take the narrative away from a terrific Celtic performance ..

Sometimes defending is as much of an art as attacking, CCV & Starfelt are growing into a terrific partnership, Josip was man of the match in the February game against the Huns but was probably our worst/less effective defender today …. Greg Taylor was immense, quite liked him standing up to Ryan “rat” Jack, Greg should be judged as Greg and not as KTs replacement, we all know how good KT is, Greg has the trust of Ange and us a very important player for us

Keep it fitba …… keep it Celtic … f the Huns

  15. Taking our league title back from their scummy “fans” will be an absolute delight!

Hope the pond life who who threw the bottles will be apprehended by Scotland’s best.

Won’t hold my breath on that.

    Mon the CHAMPS!

. On that matter and as we were talking of Tom English this morning, here is his take on it:

`It is disgusting. It’s brainless. It’s hard to get your head around. Because it’s not just Joe Hart and the Celtic defenders who are put at risk there, the Rangers attackers are going to be in that penalty box too. So, whoever’s done that – it is disgraceful, it’s mindless. I hope they have footage of it because they’ve got security cameras all over Ibrox so let’s see if they can find who did that and get rid of them for good because that’s really despicable stuff.`

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I think that is a Freudian slip there from Mr English – the most important thing is that Sevco players could have been hurt as well.”

    SB

I know what you mean but I think English was saying that that showed how `brainless` the culprit was that he couldn`t see that it might be dangerous to his own team.

  19. Agree that Taylor had an excellent game.

Quite a few very good performances today.

Central defence has a strength to it

  20. Beating the Huns on a Wednesday only gives us a couple of days of unworried happiness. This time, we have nearly a whole week ! Enjoy.

  21. To be clear – “shards of glass” has much more sinister connotations than a bottle thrown in anger, or, frustration. A glass bottle would not normally break on impact with the turf, therefore a deal of preparation would be needed to deliver a broken-bottle and shards of glass into the goalmouth with the clear intention to cut & maim…..and yes left undetected, Ibrox players could also have suffered.

  22. Were `shards` of glass thrown or did they become shards after the bottle had hit something? Strange.

  23. That hun Lyndsay manges to pen a piece on the injured Tim without mentioning the huns or huns fans once……………

  24. the long wait is over on

    Jhb

    True but unlikely imho.

Most likely chain of events I think is that the bottle was thrown whole and hit the crossbar and broke.

    ——

It would be quite difficult to throw shards of glass any real distance – perhaps they were placed inside the part of the bottle that survived and projected that way. In any case surely it will be caught on either TV, or, CCTV footage.

    Yes indeed, a distinct possibility.
