  1. Their wide players are dropping back and doubling up, ours are not. That’s why they look dangerous when attacking down the wings. We are more dominant through the middle with Dembele, Ntcham, Rogic and McGregor.

As Willie Miller has just said there are 6 defenders, and Their keeper, from both teams who’ll need therapy after this game.

  2. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

Heart in my mouth every time Boyata gets near the ball. Clearly doesn’t understand the concept of Row Z if last man and under pressure, nor of being strong in your own area.

Never one for scapegoating, and I appreciate it is his first game back, but we’ve totally bossed that lot and yet we are struggling.

    Sorry,son. Time’s up.

Starting to get on top towards half time, Foderingham keeping them in it twice. We look vulnerable to the counter attack though with our defence looking shaky at times. Brendan has a bit of work to do at half time.

They looked sharper and hungrier than us for the first 25 minutes or so ,but I’m relieved that we are beginning to show that we are a better team than them.

  4. Everything they create comes from long balls down the line or channels. Defensively we have been very naive, absolutely gifted them 2 goals and nearly a couple more.

When we click in midfield though you can see the difference. No way their defenders could handle two strikers.

Beautiful goals from us as well. Really well taken.

  5. Better team by far,and we still have our main men to bring on,

5-2 to the Bhoys will do me

  6. Lots of late challenges on Tierney and Brown gone unpunished by Collum up until last couple of minutes of half.

  7. Two poor goals to lose, especially the first.

    Boyata ring rusty.

Two or three tactical subs in the 2nd half – Roberts, Musonda, Armstrong, Edouard. Take yer pick!

    COYBIG!

    HH!!

  8. Last 15 minds was total domination, keep that going and a comfortable second half, wouldn’t be surprised to see a 4 or 5 for Celtic.

  9. An incredible pass by the fouled Broonie.

The way Moussa (fouled as well) took that goal was World Class, just like Tams.

The Hun have went all in 1st half.

    Paddy Time.

  10. if we go up a gear which I think we can they won’t know whats hit them, but FFS keep the back door shut

  11. BMCUWP he is having a nightmare game. Hopefully boyata will come out more composed second half. Same team for me second half until big Tom gets tired then bring on Scott Sinclair and finish them off. We played the more controlled game. Motm so far captain fantastic. This us our game. Two more goals Celtic.

  12. I’m afraid I don’t see us as the best team, not so far anyway. We’ve been chasing the game and look vulnerable every time they come forward. Hoping for a much improved second half.

  13. The mistake for their 1st goal had nothing to do with being ‘ rusty’ It was unadulterated rank rotten defending. Player trying to be clever rather than playing the safe option.

Not sure about our set up … this more open style plays to their strengths … I would have preferred to outnumber/over run them in the middle …

I don’t enjoy these games , but For neutrals, that would probably have been a pretty enjoyable half … better than most of the EPL tripe

And I will admit it … Scott Browns pass for Dembele’s goal … that was a pass worthy of Pirlo or iniesta on one of their great days (about as high praise as a pass can get) …. :)

And Moussa’s run and finish .. larsonnesque
