CELTIC’S Scottish Cup-winning hero Tom Rogic scored the decisive goal to earn Australia a 3-2 World Cup win over Saudi Arabia today.
The 24-year-old midfielder netted a left-foot scorcher from the edge of the penalty area in the 64th minute to give the Socceroos three points in their bid to qualify for Russia next summer.

The visitors came from behind twice as Tomi Juric scored a first-half double for the Aussies.

However, there was nothing they could do about the Hoops star’s thunderbolt after the break.

The win still leaves Australia a lot to do to qualify for the World Cup Finals as they sit third in Group B.

They are level on points with both Saudi Arabia and Japan, but have a worse goal difference and occupy a play-off spot as it stands.
