CELTIC midfielder Tom Rogic has emerged as a shock £4million target for an unnamed club in Qatar

The Australian midfielder, who made 22 appearances last season with 12 from the bench, could be about to end his seven-year association with the Hoops, according to a report on Mail online.

Rogic has yet to make a first-team outing this time around and has been an unused substitute in two of their three games so far.

The 27-year-old fans’ favourite – known as ‘The Wizard of Oz’ – could settle his future within the next 24 hours.

HAMPDEN HERO…Tom Rogic scores the Scottish Cup Final winner against Aberdeen in May 2017.

The Aussie international playmaker has made close to 200 appearances for the nine-in-a-row champions after initially being brought to the club by Neil Lennon from Central Coast Mariners in a bargain £750.000 deal.

He still has three years to run on his contract and has insisted in the past he is in no rush to leave Parkhead.

The photo of Rogic scoring the last-minute winning goal in the 2-1 Scottish Cup Final replay against Aberdeen to seal the treble in Brendan Rodgers’ debut season in 2016/17 has become an icon image in club folklore.

And Rogic is not the only Hoops midfield ace being linked with a shift in this transfer window with Southampton reported to be monitoring Oliver Ntcham, who has been utilised as sub in the games against Hamilton Accies, Kilmarnock and KR Reykjavik.
