Ronny, this is your starting point

1151

Ronny Deila seems to be more upset at the poor performance yesterday than I was. My expectation on hearing the team matched what we saw. We have taken big steps to turn things around in recent weeks but, Ronny, this is your starting point, and it’s not as high as you might have thought.

Hopefully we’ll be back to something more recognisable as a full squad on Wedenesday, including Wakasooooooo.

Blog on the go this week, email delays too.

  1. Why would anyone put cheerio to 10iar unless they actually wanted us to fail?

A Celtic fan would not want that to happen.

  2. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Delaney’s, thanks for the kind words in your post in the wee hours this morning. My Celtic knowledge and memories of games in the last twenty years is not very good. My memories of games in the seventies & eighties is better.

I hope your first day in your new job went well.

Someone mentioned St Laurence’s church in Drumchapel, my first parish, having some bother with the orange culture club yesterday. Can anyone shed any light on it, please?

Phil, your comment about Dawkins earleir today, is the funniest thing I have read on here in ages. Your way with words is far beyond anything I could come up with.

I think we are demanding too much.

JC and RD have very little European experience. As a player John Collins has two seasons at Monaco a good International career and a few odd games here and there in Europe but he is number two.

We are not paying higher wages than anyone else in Europe (not individually anyway)

We have just had our bums felt by Legia and Maribor and ICT

got lucky draws against Dundee, Motherwell and Salzburg .. who are no great shakes.

We should not expect to see a league winning team for about two to three years based on their managerial records.

Get with the program guys really.

The window has been closed for more than three weeks and we can now all see precisely where these new signings will fit into this fitness machine.

    Look at Rangers

    Look At Van Gaal

    Look at Cowdenbeath

You guys dont know how luck you all are.

I have an open mind on The Consultant RD – I continue to support him – and as long save are top if the league by end of November – I will continue to support him

But if we are not – then I would argue he has to go

Not winning the League Cup or even the Scottish Cup in order to re-build a team is acceptable to me (I hate myself for the low standards) BUT if we ever look like the League is at risk – and my measurement for that is top of the league by end November

squire danaher. Thats exactly what I was meaning you scroll by Kojos articles which is your right and I would not hold it against you. What I think is poor is one Celtic supporter verbally attacking another Celtic supporter. On line anyone can write anything about themselves or about others but as Celtic supporters I would like to think we could trust each other. I am very well, thank you for asking.

Felling a little bit guilty about my decision not to buy a ticket for Wednesday’s game. But when I saw that it was a 50% increase on last season when we also drew a Championship team (Morton) I decided it wasn’t for me.

Are you referring to ticket prices?

I thought the tickets are priced exactly same as last season?

  14. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

A post was made earlier this afternoon saying Ronny is a as big a dud as Dr Jo Venglos. Very disrespectful.

Dr Jo brought us Lubo and Johan for which we should be forever grateful. Not all his signings were as good but for about five months of that season we played well until the St Johnstone game at McDermid we lost and ended our title chances.

  19. Geordie Munro – I beg your pardon, tickets for the Morton game were priced £12, not £10 as I previously thought. So it’s only a 25% price increase ;-).

Celtic will win on Wednesday without too much trouble provided our manager plays our strongest team.
