Is it just me or have certain clowns not appeared on the blog this evening?

I’ve just googled the Coalyard Tearoom; worth a detour, as the guide Michelin might say.

It is so successful that the Council see no choice but to shut it down.

  3. And my last point – why do they always have a home fixture, regardless of which club they are operating and which league they are languishing in, while we are always away during Remembrance weekend? Funny that…

  4. Is there any truth in the rumour that Sleekit and the Cardigan have taken out injuctions against reports of their EBT’s ?

Obviously still gutted about Thursday and Molde over there, but leading in Amsterdam then cruising against Fenerbache are the positives for me, being the age I am and there are a few on here a bit older the European stuff should be a bonus, we used to struggle domestically at grounds like today, the pundits are now telling us if Ronny doesn’t win a treble he is a failure “because Rangers (sic) aren’t in the league” WTF are they not in the other two tourneys ??? Sir EBT Walter in his first stint, how competitive were Celtic at that time, but again that doesn’t suit their audience….. Anyway, I hope Ronny can improve in Europe and 6pts could see him in Europe in 2016, if not, I am happy with Celtic winning as many games as possible, I have lived through enough games when we didn’t win

I’m not sure what point you’re making exactly. Tell me

It’s how it is reported is the problem.

  7. Margaret, Why not just say that then, Was your offer from Celtic TV or another pay for view outlet, If it was from Celtic TV was it a subscription to view Celtic TV for a period or just a one off to watch the game,

Personally I would absolutely love if I had the option to purchase live games from Celtic TV.

Fair point. If it had been at Celtic Park it would have been observed meticulously! ;-))))

  9. I see wee Lizzie was wearing a cluster of 5 poppies at the cenotaph today. I see this as the Royal Assent to commence with the stripping of the 5 tainted titles – given that HMRC are unlikely to recover any of the £74m they are owed.

That awkward moment when the tribute act have to cease and desist from wearing 5 stars.

On the plus side for Sevco MASH don’t have IP rights over 4 stars. So, if you’re looking in, Mike……..

  10. Is anyone surprised that the MSM take any opportunity possible to berate us? If one of our fans had dropped a pin during the silence it would have been reported as a major insult to the world.

Our club should be smarter and refuse to respond to their leading questions. Our manager should talk about football and nothing else.

How many EBT recipients were there? How many directors of the current club were involved? And how many of them have been targeted by the media – my guess is a big fat zero.

  11. Well Done To The Guys , Great Result at a Difficult Away Game..

.I Wish Ronny Would be a Bit more Pragmatic in Europe but Coz i Wish it aint gonna Make it Happen…..SO….from Now On….No More Laying into The Manager After Poor European Results…Im Buckled In Untill he Gets it Right, Or He gets Shunted.

    Simples….And Looking Forward To It

Don’t you be giving Ms McGill a hard time because she prefers Liverpool to Celtic, for the record when the Celtic game had finished I could watch the Liverpool game for free but am afraid the EPL is pretty dire, I plumped for not watching

  13. voguepunter, 8:33 pm

Yes, but we know how it will be reported as it happens year after year. So be clever.

Don’t allow them to have anything to report – it doesn’t make anyone less of an Irish Republican, if that is what they are.

This is like the Sevco fans bleating on about Juninho’s EBT or Arsenal not being called out as cheats.

It won’t change the perception of the outside world. And it’s also bad manners

fekn sick of it …Give them nothing! hh

  18. First of all well done the Bhoys for scoring some great goals in weather you wouldn’t send a dug oot it!

Secondly Greetings from Munich to all of Timdom

Thirdly Paul67 this week I have had on my PC a flashing beeping Microsoft warning with a blue screen asking me to phone a number to fix my PC and today it froze and wouldn’t reboot when I clicked on one of the adverts on the screen. System is in for repair, I think it might have been trying to load malware so I shit it down manually and it needs attention. I have cancelled my PapPal annual £20 donation which I have given since CQN magazine 1. Time to get rid of all of that crap.

I don’t normally give out betting tips but, by combining the two current topics, i would suggest you lump some money on Tristan and Jamelia getting voted off next week. Tristan McManus was the only professional dancer not to sport a poppy this week and, given that the show made a huge fuss over Remembrance issues, they have drawn a lot of attention to it. I expect the Daily Mail to crank up the campaign over the next week and what with partnering one of the two non-Caucasian celebrities left on the show, then it is a cert he will not make it to Blackpool.

Get your bet on early as the odds will become prohibitive by next weekend.

P.S. I had a quick lunch in the Coalyard Tearoom a couple of times before the summer when I was working in the Larkhall area. Very good service it was too but it could do with more customers. SLC are having to cut in a lot of areas- vulnerable children and adults are going to be badly affected. Our right wing Press Barons would have us believe it is all overpaid administrative and managerial fat that gets trimmed but ask any parent of a child or young adult with additional needs, and they will tell you what supports have been cut. Every service and every department has a target to be cut.

  21. the glorious balance sheet on

Fantastic result and good performance in atrocious conditions at an away venue that is normally problematic. Well done today Celtic!

Can’t believe the brass neck of that corrupt tax dodging elmer fudd minty moonbeams trying to position himself as the saviour of Scottish steel in the same week where he has been exposed as a tax dodging creep that has stiffed the public purse for many millions over a prolonged period of time.

Maybe if “captains of industry” like minty paid their dues to society our industries and public services would be in a far better state.

That is the story the media should be pursuing, not a contrived circus of indignation over whether a couple of football fans broke a minutes silence at a football match.

Strip Rangers of the titles and sircumcise Minty.

  22. SLC attack it’s most vulnerable:

  24. About 6 years ago I was waiting for Mrs corkcelt in a Shopping Mall and minding my then 5 yr old granddaughter, She was trotting around the place but as long as she was in my sight I was leaving her off. After a while she trotted back and asked for a euro to put in a collection box, I hadn’t seen any collectors but I gave it to her anyway and didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when she came back with a poppy. Worse still the’ old geezer selling them followed her over to thank me.

I bribed her to give it to me in return for sweets and discretely disposed of it before Mrs corkcelt returned. I ‘d never have lived it down if the Mrs told the rest of the family and she would have.

Conspicuous by their absence from the BBC list of EBT beneficiaries.

Perhaps we should be asking that question more often.

  26. Excellent result and I actually enjoyed watching the bhoys today. It’s a great response from the team.

It’s no surprise of course that the usual witchunt will begin against the Celtic support. This trap is set every year and it will get more headlines that criminal tax avoidance will in Scotland.

What is sad is that Celtic will not hesitate to join in on this and suddenly will find their voice. It’s both sad and revealing at the same time.

I heard some reasonably muffled shouts from one or two individuals. I thought the might have been outside the ground but wasn’t sure. It was very very minor and as far as I know it’s not a crime to be a bit stupid.

But hey ho we live in racist Scotland.

Cheers for that, but now after today (my brother in law will fix it for free) I don’t know if it’s a genuine system issue it won’t reboot or a malware issue from CQN.

  29. Good Old Negganon…He turns Muffled Booing from one or two outside the ground to Show just how Racist Scotland Is….Bravo…Negganon…You consistantly Amaze Me….
