    On Celtic TV there was no sound of anyone breaking the silence.

     

    I did listen.

     

    I assume Derek Rae was able to determine from the coughing and other noises that it was indeed Celtic fans to blame.

     

    Isn’t it about time we all got past this obsession with poppies and Remembrance Sunday?

     

    Last time I checked we all lived in countries with nominal free speech.

     

    Although I disagree with disrespecting the memory of my forebears’ dedication to defending their adopted home, I cannot ignore the feelings of those who see it differently.

     

    Similarly, those who disagree should respect my wishes to peacefully, solemnly and respectfully remember my family who served.

    We as a club have sunk so far from the Stein era.

     

    There was never a chance we could ever sustain that zenith.

     

    In today’s environment I doubt Jock himself could have taken us to Lisbon.

     

    The deck is stacked against Scottish clubs due to the financial doping prevalent in the league setups of larger countries like England, France, Spain, Germany and Italy.

     

    This deluded happy clapper takes satisfaction in winning titles and trophies with or without the presence of cheats, on and off the field.

     

    Now let me use a little logic.

     

    Scandinavian teams are higher up on the scale than we are.

     

    So we recruit a WINNING manager from Scandinavia.

     

    Does that then show we are ambitious and wish to improve?

     

    Hmmm.

    Just back from Dingwall.

     

    Delighted with the result and some great goals too.

     

    Have just read back the last two pages and see some comments about the silence.

     

    It was probably about ten fans or so but no doubt it was be used by the press as a means to give us bad publicity.

     

    I see Mr Pastry posting, any chance you could let Mrs Pastry post instead she was much funnier.

    From my own perspective, Celtic fans were warned not to arrive in Dingwall before 2pm – why in this free society ? No freedom of expression allowed, either agree or disagree, Rae comments were a pure and simple attack or deflection, dependant on views, on Celtic fans, let’s ignore what is taking place in the real world with tax cheats. Whom if they had paid, may help with the remembrance cause

     

    Again my view, simply part of a media campaign against us

     

    You ever heard any, and I mean any commentator pass comment on any other teams fans ?

    I’ve not had a chance to log on…too much going down, happy with result today.

     

     

    To be honest, I don’t know what to make of our jeckle&Hyde performances, we seem to be like rabbits in the headlights when it counts, I’ll leave it for the experts to digress.

     

     

    On a side note… Downtown Abbey on in the background, what a lot of Tory pish that is…some would like it back to those days…mmmm…it most likely is.

    From the Tax Cheat Site

     

    RANGERS commemorated Remembrance Day at today’s match with a staunchly respectful minute’s silence before kick-off in honour of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country while Rangers fans and players cowered in the shipyards from Luftwaffe planes guided by the floodlights left on at Celtic Park.

     

     

    Veterans as well as representatives from each of the services, platers, welders, riveters etc, Erskine, Poppyscotland and the THE Rangers Football Club attended a wreath laying ceremony at the John Greig Statue at Ibrox before the game and two shipyard veterans led the teams out prior to kick-off.

     

     

    The Rangers team wore special poppy tax free strips as a mark of respect and there was an EBT display in the Sandy Jardine Stand.

     

     

    The THE Rangers Charity Foundation also held a can of worms collection at the game in aid of Poppyscotland, a charity which supports ex-servicemen and women and their families. Unfortunately it is highly unlikely any of the monies will be distributed to ex servicemen.

    On scanning the Celtic support with the cameras I didn’t see anyone booing, so maybe it was from outside the ground, not that I agree with it.

     

     

    The Huns will jump on it to try and take a moral high ground.

    On poppy gate . Only heard the start of the game in the car on radio Scotland. Definitely On RS heard some chants and shouts, no idea whether inside or outside the ground. Richard Gordon commented on the lines that it was unfortunate that one or two people couldn’t observe the silence but that in the main it was a well observed poignant moment. No further comment on the silence that I heard before getting home and seeing the second half on the telly. I didn’t sense any agenda simply a reporting of what was heard.

     

     

    However much I support freedom of expression and find poppy fascism ludicrous, if a small number of fans did set out to disrupt the silence then I find that sad.

    Watched the game in a pub today( i know should have been there)

     

     

    But all this pish about the minutes silence .

     

    Never heard a word and even the pub stood silent?
