  1. Now then , that was what we needed. For what it’s worth I know that RC really fancied it today and a lot of the boys lumped on them at 8/1, Down to 6/1 by noon today.

Myself I plumped for the draw, I also went for a Liverpool, Citeh and Arsenal draw coupon…shows what I know.

As for any other baggage, it’s exactly that , baggage. Feck the Daily Record and all the rest of the agenda driven media. We will stand alone , as ever.

If, in the fight against the cheats from Ipox and the SFA , other clubs want to join a just cause they should be welcomed as equal partners. There is a light at the end of a dark period for Scottish football.

I see SDM is trying to get himself a cheap deal on the TAta steel plants? I thinkthe source of this public spiritedness is smelling of shite. I read somewhere that he has been let off lightly unlike SIr Fred Goodwin who has been held up for public ridicule, according to some. Perhaps Fred should just be happy he was not held to account in America, his Saturday golf outings would have been held up by around 10 years if that was the case.

The fight for justice is at stage one, my opinion is that the dim witted SMS have shot their load like a 16 year old in a strip club. They can’t help themselves , they are so keen to curry favour with their heroes, that do not realise they are doing more harm than good.

Keep it up boys, you’re doing a great job shooting yourself in the feet and the Orcs just keep self destructing along with you.

We may not know this, but this is a great time to be a Celtic fan.

    Hail! hail!

Just had a discussion in the pub about who is to blame for Celtic being 6 points ahead

Is it the £35m wage bill PL or RD?

My own take on it is to accept the whipping in EL and hope for the RD experiment to come to fruition

I’m hopefull that next year OConnell, Tierney , Christie ,Allan ,Henderson and Nesbitt will bring a whole new dimension to Celtic

I am hopeful but also full of the jungle juice of life and optimism

Good post mate and I’ll go along with that. Great to catch you the other day. Hope Dave is keeping well.

    One more try:

We really should be doing better in Scotland than being at the top of the League and in both Cups.

    How`s that?

    Cheerio for now,

  5. Well done today to my team. Asked for at least 2-0 and got 4-1. It is that one goal that worries me, against a poor team. As I said before we will pish this league, no problem. I wish I could be as confident about the Scottish cup competitions (LC & SC). The Europa Cup is no go, sorry to say.

  6. Crisis Club in Crisis as Crisis deepens..

Under pressure Manager clueless as Celts fail to keep a clean sheet. Despite 3 substitutes, Celts fail to put an unlucky Ross County to the sword.. Hearts and Aberdeen show the way to a competitive league.

Jim Traynor tells Celts to look to Rangers for business plan for success.

Horrific day for Celtic followers.. Great day for Celtic supporters.

Apologies Delaney I had read a wee while back you were due up, today was a day too stay in Clydebank anyways !

RWE…. Thankfully I got the 3 questions correct, had a wee read of the rest of Tony’s Huddle today as I was home alone, keep at it, definitely makes me appreciate everything we have

Good win in difficult circumstances against an in-form County team.

Only fly in the ole Brycreem was the comment made by Derek ‘Dog Whistle’ Rae regarding the minute’s silence, which I thought was kept pretty impeccably by everyone in the ground.

Can I be the first to say no to Davie Moyes.

    no, already done it ;-)

  10. I rather enjoyed that – second half more than the first. Good result in horrible conditions. Thought Ross Co. played well in 2nd half in particular. Our defence needs to be fixed.

Sean Thornton – cheers for the Kodi advice earlier. First time user – went better than I expected. I was surprised at the picture quality – I thought it would have been much worse.

  11. Pleased with the result in difficult conditions. The thing that bugs me more than anhthing is the lack of pass and move. The number of times in the first half that we played a ball to each other without forward movement was countless.

I agree this is a stunt to give the impression he cares about anyone other than himself, he should be advised to keep a stash to pay HMRC should they go after individuals

I like your jungle juice posts. That was one of your best. I have the same prophetic thoughts as you for next season. Looking forward to seeing ‘Corpus’ Christie in our team. ;)

  15. Well done Celtic? On a day you wouldn’t take your dog out for a walk, some on here are complaining about our defence, get a life.

As usual the media are trying to make something out of nothing, regarding the silence thing, forget them who reads or listen to them, seriously, without laughing.

  16. Good win to-day, I watched the game on BT Sport and I thought the minutes silence was observed respectfully by the spectators i could not understand the commentators disparaging remarks about visiting fans.

    Thanks for the link.

The Govan folk really lay it on thick.

There are photos in their “gallery” that show legend John Greig (aka to my generation “Captain Blood”) solemnly lay a wreath at the foot of the statue of – ahem – John Greig !!!

I’m pretty sure that in some distant, parallel universe, it isn’t funny.

I was intending to drive up this morning and stay over at my nephews’ pad.

The weather put me off driving up the A9 having just got back from sun drenched Espana last night. The tickets were used by my die hard mate and his daughter got her first away game in Ross County hospitality suite. :)

  22. Celtic….too good for Scottish football, but not good enough for second tier European football. Working on the assumption that if The Spl was at a higher level, so would Celtic, lets ask why the other teams are so poor. You would expect that the top three, perhaps four Scottish teams would be able to compete with teams like Molde, Malmo, some of the Dutch or Ajerbyjan teams. However, regularly they are knocked out of Europe early in the season. Why? Is it the coaching? The quality of the players? The timing of our season?

The real tragedy is that the senior admin in our game do nothing to try to improve the situation. What pioneering strategy have they proposed to improve our game?

Whatever the answer is, it is not as simple as lack of finance.

  24. Sorry folks, I’m not very computer literate.

Previous post regards my attempts to help save a terrific resource in South Lanarkshire.

The Coalyard is a resource that employs people with significant learning difficulties and very little employment opportunity. It employs people with Additional Support Needs; people coping with conditions like autism, hearing, speech and or sight impairment; with Downs Syndrome.

This resource is unique in that it actively employs the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our area.

Some well worked goals – just a pity we can’t get this continuous defensive weakness sorted out.

We had this discussion last week in Larkhall

SLC cutbacks are shocking whilst the leader mr mcavoy continues to milk the residents whils the snp continue to reduce the payments

The poor and needy continue to suffer whilst the socialist liars keep their income at their expense

  28. sixtaeseven - Gardez la Foi on

Agree – the senior admin in our game do nothing to try to improve the situation.

Scottish clubs are not showing their true value on the European scene.

They are being hindered by decades of mismanagement.

If the governing bodies were not so focused in protecting the asses of U NO WHO, they might find the time to develop the most important sport in Scotland.

Until there is a total clear out of the blazers, unfortunately nothing will change

    It’s now or never.
