SCOTT ALLAN – MEDICAL PASSED & TERMS AGREED

0

SCOTT ALLAN is on the brink of sealing his £275,000 move to Celtic after passing his medical today. All details on the player’s contract has now been agreed with the 4IAR Champions.

The former Hibs midfielder has now completed the last few details in his Hoops contract that is believed to worth around £10,000 per week.

It is expected Allan will sign later this evening to prepare for his new career with Scotland’s most successful club.

Celtic are rumoured to be waiting on PaultheTim finishing his shift and getting over to Parkhead for an exclusive selfie!

Tomorrow’s Premiership clash with Inverness Caley Thistle is likely to come too early him, but he is hopeful of being in the squad for Wednesday’s Champions League play-off first leg against Malmo at Celtic Park.

Dylan McGeouch, who was at Easter Road during the last campaign, is expected to go in the opposite direction by signing on for Alan Stubbs’ team, who will also land Liam Henderson on a season-long loan. Smart money was yesterday waged on Hibs winning the Championship and securing their place back in the top division.

It’s believed midfielder Henderson’s wages while at Hibs will be paid by Celtic.

Allan had been chased by English based Ibrox boss Mark Warburton who made three tiny to small bids for the 23-year-old, but the former Scotland Under-21 clearly sees his future in the top flight and playing European football.

Celtic supporters have been voting on CQN since yesterday on whether they think that Scott Allan would be a good signing for Celtic.

Here’s how the voting went:

Do you think that Celtic should sign Hibs midfielder Scott Allan?

  • NO, we have better alternatives already at the club. (34%, 667 Votes)
  • NOT SURE, leave it to Ronny to decide. (24%, 465 Votes)

Total Voters: 1,944
