SFA and SPL office holders in eye of the storm

682

Somewhere on an upper floor at Hampden SFA and SPL high office holders will be mulling over player contracts submitted by Rangers over the last decade, including for players still registered at the club.

They will compare what they have on file with yesterday’s revelations in The Sun.  As far as the football authorities are concerned, everything will be in good order if Rangers submitted these side contracts, which featured appearance money, to the league and SFA.

But, if the club submitted these contracts to the football authorities, they would have to declare them to the tax authorities as income.

It would be good to hear from some of the very vocal former directors of Rangers on this subject, especially the one currently president of the SFA.

This matter has nothing to do with Our Hero, remember, who is currently drawing fire away from those who put Rangers into danger in the first place, however, Mr Whyte is wholly responsible for the “public censure” issued to Rangers by the Plus Stock Exchange today.  The resultant £50k fine the least of the club’s worries.

  1. I know nothing about computers and protecting them, but when I logged on today, the defence I have. AGV, or something similar said it had protected me from a problem on CQN.

    They are desperate.

Aye, you are right, it is a bit sad.

But although it’s great to talk about their immenent demise, we shouldn’t forget their long history of dirty hacking b*****s.

    Gregor Stevens springs to mind.

Can anyone help me with my crossword? Clue is:

2nd best team in Glasgow. Soon to be liquidated.

    15 up 20 down?

  6. Gordon Smith’s performance on Clyde tonight !!! Even by his usual standards that was incredible, he has the thought process of a four year old at best.

Did he buy his Business Degree at the same American University that Ian Paisley’s bought his doctorate ? The man’s a complete imbecile and a sneaky spineless one at that, blames everyone but himself whenever things go wrong (which amazingly it always does …….hhmmmm makes you think eh Smudger ?).

Well done TDB, clarity as to who the SFA appointed investigative team, two experts in tax and accountancy and two who are CEOs by profession and should understand what makes up the concept of ethical business practice.

Come on ghuys, Ogilvies position to wholly compromised, some would say its corrupted. Ogilvie not only oversaw the scope of Lord Nimmo-Smiths investigation into rfcia but he would be the person that the investigating group of 4 would report back to privately.

Moribund without transparency and totally open to accusation of corruption, unless they come clean, doubt if they understand the concept. None so blind as those with no doubts about their own self given integrity and lack of self questioning or a reasonable enquiring mind. HMT !

On an oyjer matter I heard the interview this pm between SSN White and his namesake MBB. I though JW contained himself, just from pulling faces of total disbelief at MBB and his answers to his questions. MBB made 5 points in answering the questions and lied on at least three of them.

  12. Bryce Curdy- Rob tonight (and Tony on Saturday Shortbread) were 2 terrific callers, you could hear the cogs in Keevin’s brain whirring away trying to put together a coherent response- which he failed miserably, as did Hannah with his cheap McGinn, Kelly and Riley whataboutery.

  13. The caller Rob on Clyde tonight is my nephew.

    Thought he did rather well.

The spotlight on Ogilvie and co plus the sfa is now shining brightly…..and it ain’t going away any time soon.

  17. Work pc is now about as useful as a rangers fc (in administration) credit note.

Ach well. At least it can be cleansed.

  18. Logging on today I got a Microsoft warning of a cyber attack. It blocked it immediately and quarantined it. I have backup with Advanced System Care 5 which also cleans, fixes registry, scans and repairs drives, and defrags. Good wee free package. Back on the football, there has not been one instance of the Rangers supporter’s behaviour in all of this to-do over the administration/liquidation of Das Orc. Funny, don’t you think. I was also having a viewback on the game where Lardass Bougherra kicked Robbie Keane all over the pitch, Kamara halved, blatent penalties denied etc. BTM never stood a chance. Much too decent a man for the vermin in the media in Scotland, and the even more verminous referees. Since NL took over, Celtic from top to bottom have grown a pair. I also think John Reid, like him or loathe him, has been planting boobytraps and digging holes for the mass opposition to fall into. If you add to that mix CQN, RTC, and PhilMac then you have the football equivalent of the SAS.

Still dont have any confidence, in getting a Honest result, with the Investigative Team, as they will all probably have seats at the Top Table, therefor we all know how they, Cover There Work, pretty well.
