BBC today revealed that the SFA’s legal team are examining responses from the Associations 93 clubs to a letter dated 9 March, which reminded clubs of their responsibility to record financial records with the SFA and asking them to declare they have complied over the last 10 years.
The inquiry was established after reports that Rangers had illegally registered players for over a decade, excluding payments which were not taxed. We can presume that as the legal team are investigating, there was at least one response which returned a noncompliance.
The SFA issued a deadline for responses of 6 April and under Article 86.1 any club not responding in a timely manner would be in breach, so it’s unclear why it has taken over two months to get to this stage, so why the legal team are only “examining responses”.
We look forward to hearing an early comment on this crucial matter from the executive. It is enormously unfortunate that the SFA were unable to inform their AGM of the findings on Wednesday. BBC report that the Association legal team have yet to report to the Compliance Officer, which is the next step.

Mags,
Er., naw. I asked you the distance between the earth and the moon, centrepoint to centepoint, and you failed to do your google search satisfactorly.
Just stuck on ‘My Cousin Vinny’ which along with ‘So I Married an Axe Murderer’ is the best comedy film of all time!!!

Mass is independent of distance between 2 objects..come on admit it…you’re just a Higgs hater…
The Higgs Boson walks into the chapel
The priest says “Higgs Bosons are not allowed in here
You call yourself the God particle get out

The Higgs Boson replied if you dont allow me how can you have mass?
The human race was dying out
No one left to scream and shout.
People walking on the moon
Smog will get you pretty soon.
Everyone was hanging out
Hanging up and hanging down
Hanging in and holding fast
Hope our little world will last.
Along came Mr. Goodtrips
Looking for a new ship.
Come on people better climb on board
Come on babe we’re going home.
Ship of fools, Ship of fools.
The human race was dying out
No one left to scream and shout.
People walking on the moon
Smog gonna get you pretty soon.

You should be expelled for such heathenous nonsense.
In 20 years you’ll all realise that the collider created us, by method of a complex time warp. And that the 20-21st Century (ie. my lifetime) has all been a continuing cycle of sluggish improvement.
You’ll see. You’ll ALL see……..

I’m worried.
I’m worried that all the wrongs they’ve done will be covered up and blown over. I’m worried that all the facts, many of which have been covered up by the authorities, will be ignored. And I’m worried that Kevjungle is in fact right that, Scotland is the huns and the huns are Scotland and that despite legislation and guilt that they will exist next year and possibly be stronger than the rest of us.

HT,
Sorry for interjecting, I am still worried for Scotland more than any Football team.
Celtic are the Model to take Honest Scottish Football back to the top of Europe again. As we have seen with the scum who are unwilling to be repentant, I know my own self, it is hard to admit to a monumental error, I never paid Union Dues for a few years because of a clerical error wth my surname. God is testing me more than any financial thing ever could.

Mags,
BTW,

“Jeez!
ok proof …the moon orbits the earth therefore it must be smaller.
Gravity makes the spheres a little oblate.
So lets assume 4/3 * pi *r^3 = volume of a sphere (pure mathematics man) So if the moon is one quarter the diameter of earth it means its radius is one quarter the radius of earth 1/4^3 is 4*4*4= 1/64 .So lets assume its lost a lot of “stuff” due to escape velocity of its gravity then it will be somewhat lighter than 1/64. So 1/80 is a good guess. 1/366 is jibber jabber.”
=======
Admire your accuracy, Glad you shot me down with all those Whyteyesque accuracies. Mibbes when you accept your own failings you’ll accept a bit of humility and not try to convey yourself as the all seeing know it all?
:)) G’nite. Mass of the Moon = 1/366 of the mass of the Earth. QED ?

nn MMG and FFM, I now have a Full Silver Fifa 12 Ultimate Team Celtic squad for those bhoys that play the game. aidiebhoy2000 is the username on ps3. Very disappointed that there is no Neil as Manager though, despite there being one last year.
Went to see our man Ki play for South Korea away to Qatar last night, he ran the show from deep in midfield and was SK’s main man in a 1-4 win spreading the ball about like Pirlo.
Thats his best position but it looks like he doesnt fit into our best team, if we have deep laying midfielder he has to be a ball winner like Kayal or Victor Wanyama, Victor Wanyama, Victor Wanyama ooh ooh.
At the risk of sounding like Peter Lawwell its time to cash in on Ki, good player and I like him but he is surplus to our requirements.
The going rate for the main man in South Korea must be quite decent.

I’m not here to be loved.. I’m here to FIX Rangers
By DEREK McGREGOR The Sun
CHARLES GREEN is your archetypal blunt-talking Yorkshireman.
Nowt is left for doubt when the imminent new owner of Rangers expresses an opinion.
Last night venture capitalist and former Sheffield United chief executive Green opened up to SunSport and said he is not at Ibrox to be loved.
He insists he is only there to give the ailing Light Blues the kiss of life and is certain he’ll raise up to £30million to safeguard Gers’ long-term future.
He also claimed he couldn’t care less at being savaged by Dave King, who he insisted is the last person to question his integrity in buying Gers.
South Africa-based King accused Green of being a potential new Craig Whyte and urged fans not to buy season tickets and to shun the critical CVA creditors’ deal on the table to be judged next Thursday.
The outcome of that meeting — the most important in the club’s 140 years — will determine whether they emerge from administration with a glorious history preserved or as a reformed, hollow newco unsure of playing in the SPL or Third Division.
King was yesterday sacked from the board by administrators Duff & Phelps. Green would have done that anyway.
On his most outspoken enemy, he said: “I spoke to him for the first time last Friday.
“I told him what we were trying to do and in fact I emailed him a copy of our presentation.
“I asked Dave to look at it over the weekend and then we could speak next week.
“The first thing I heard, though, were his comments yesterday. What baffles me is him saying that we’re using the season ticket money to buy the club.
“Well, we’ve already given the administrators several million pounds and we haven’t even put the season tickets up for sale.
“I’m not that upset about what he’s said to be honest.
“What I think is more important than whether he thinks I’m another Craig Whyte is where he makes a comment that he wants all of the creditors and shareholders to vote down the CVA.
“This from a person who purports to be a Rangers fan.
“If people actually listen to him and do what he’s recommending — which I can’t think for a second they would — then all the history and tradition that we’ve been desperately trying to preserve would be just swept down the drain. I was brought up in a mining village, we went to Sunday school and we were brought up reading the bible.
“It says in there ‘Whom is without sin cast the first stone’. Unlike Dave King, I’ve never had my passport withheld. I’ve not been investigated for millions and millions of pounds worth of issues with Revenue.
“All I can say is that from day one I’ve met every fan group, I’ve answered questions honestly.
“Someone said to me yesterday ‘Mr Green, if you’ve got the money, why are you still looking for money?’.
“I said ‘Well two things, I’m a Yorkshireman, and that’s why God gave me big hands, so I could hold more money’.
“I also said ‘I’ve never been to any church where there hasn’t been a collection. Rangers is now my church and I’m collecting money’. I don’t want people to love me, apart from my children.
“I’m here to do a job. And that job is is to get rid of the debt, get rid of the administrators, get rid of the fear and the problems that have surrounded the club for years, get rid of the problems with the SFA and support Ally McCoist.
“Fans are understandably nervous about someone coming in, because of what’s happened with their club.
“But me and Craig Whyte are a million miles apart.
“What I’ve come here to do is revive Rangers.
“We’ve also said we’re going to go out and raise up to a further £30m. And that will all be done by the end of July.
“I’m completely confident. One thing I do know a lot about is raising money.
“Over the last 15 to 20 years in business I have raised a BILLION in cash.”
Green’s admiration for boss McCoist knows no bounds.
He said: “Not only did he not have money to pay the players last season, he had no chief executive, he had no chief financial officer and no chairman.
“Now, tell me any football manager who has had to deal with that — and then he got no wages for all his effort!
“What I think Ally needs is some help and support.”
Green has been cool towards an investment approach from ex-Newcastle United supremo Freddy Shepherd.
But he is adamant there are plenty of others ready to pour money into the Ibrox coffers.
He said: “I genuinely had 20 people contact me to invest. If I’d taken all of their money I could have bought the Scottish League, not just Rangers.
“But my aim is to select the best investors for the future for Rangers.
“We’re also going to open it up to the fans.
“I’ve made it clear when I take over the club I will create the new boards — we’ll have a PLC board and a football club board — there will be a fans’ representative on the latter.”
Duff & Phelps took the SFA to the Court of Session to overturn a 12-month transfer embargo.
The SFA’s appeals panel could now terminate or suspend Gers’ membership .
Green, who intriguingly refused to rule out the club yet accepting the original punishment, is fretting over what might yet happen.
But he vowed to keep a hold of Rangers even if they are thrown out by the SFA.
He said: “We believe that if someone commits the crime, they should be punished.
“Listen, if someone said to me ‘Charles, would you accept being flogged in the stocks as the official punishment?’, I’d put my hand up for it.
“I’m prepared to do anything that gets this club back on an even keel — and also allows Scottish football to get on with what we should be doing.
“That’s playing football and entertaining people.”
Tired of all this crawling around
Realizing the joke was on us
Reaching out to the obvious
Starting with an answer not a question
Our most acceptable businesses
All aligned in just one direction
Organized on the same lines
With one face – one side
Back at the all night party
We’re getting clearer all the time
Refined to one shape – frozen like crystal
It has the symmetry of perfect design
One line leads to another
They cross at the corners run straight at the sides
It reads the same way in any direction
Two red circles and a thick black spine
Let it fall into place we could tie it to a tree
We could point it at you we could make it a habit
We could leave it outside or we could give it our food
Understand it or we could ignore it
Holding all our past in the one hand
We showed those people in a way they understand
Shiny little eyes on a big red bus
The ones we point at work for us
One sharp point between distinction
Going this way for X amount of time
Frame – line – and convergence
From the first to the final
This intention is mine
We got all lined up
We got all lined up
We got all lined up
All lined up
All lined up
