An appropriate course of action when you are the chairman or a non-executive director of a PLC when a fellow director and, until last week, chief executive, has been reported to the Serious Fraud Office for matters in connection with the company, would be to immediately contact the accuser asking for full and immediate disclosure of information which could materially affect investors and the company’s trading position.
The “compelling evidence that Messrs Green and Ahmad received a letter before claim in December 2012, having received previous correspondence, and chose to ignore it” sounds like a signed-for receipt. If this was received before 22 December, the date of Rangers International FC PLC’s IPO, it is of critical importance that the board ask for sight of the evidence, irrespective of what Mr Green says about its existence.
This season’s Third Division has nine days to run and it would inconvenience many if these matters were brought to a head before then, but the duty of directors is clear; they cannot postpone attending to the interests of investors until after the football season.
Lawyers acting for RIFC PLC should politely request full disclosure from the other party, without delay.
Some in the SFA may be tempted to attempt another Grand Plan to prepare for and accommodate and almighty collapse at one club. Grand Plans don’t work in these circumstances; the last one led to the current Lawyers at Dawn scenario.
We await the SFA acting in relation to RIFC PLC’s claim that Sevco 5088 Ltd, a company Craig Whyte is a registered director of, is part of their group. This is in direct contradiction to an earlier representation made to the SFA, and breaks a condition of their membership of the Association.
Current SFA president, Campbell Ogilvie, is a former Rangers director. My prediction is that hell will freeze over before he allows the SFA to act on this matter. The SFA shall wilfully ignore its own rules.

Re: potential relocations
Surely even Celtic have enough business nous not to uproot SB holders from their current seats, to lower-tier seats with more risk to exposure from bad weather – with the intention of putting NON SB holders in the original seats??
I am not a fan if the ticket office and have many reasons over many years for this but I don’t believe they can be that dumb???
Not hard enough if you ask me…

She’s 16, ticket went from£186 to £105, paid for now so they can’t change their mind and ask for more.

raymac,
i am over NEXT FRIDAY,coming over for the cup final, if that offer still stands next week yer on mo chara.
Neil Lennon is now showing up a fraction ahead of Jock Stein in games won ratio.
http://www.fitbastats.com/celtic/manager_records.php
Record shows:
Neil 119 wins from 169 games = 70.41%
Jock 505 wins from 718 games = 70.33%
Martin O’Neill has the best historical record with 213 wins from 282 games = 75.53%
This site also shows that John Barnes has a much better record than Billy McNeill so you can draw your own opinion from bare statistics.
Willie Maley is credited as having managed Celtic through 1,755 games.
No chance of a standing section being set up?

No ,doing my Civic Duty (again second time in five years) need to get a criminal record to get me off this merry go round (in the interest of any lurking officers of the law I am only kidding about the criminal record)
If they move my seat think ill ask for the directors box at same price!!
Why all the fuss about seat movement surely if you like wee you are then just pick the nearest available seat to were you are
as for no cunsultation the letters arrived today and you have till june 5th sort put alternative
if the club try to force any ST holder moving to take a more expensive seat then they have every right to be agrieved but this could be a chance to get a move sorted nearer family or friends I,m in the JS upper area 438 dont know why the club would want to move us but would suspect it would make sense to compact the support for a better atmosphere
and lets face it bhoys theres plenty of seats to chose from

Believe me there is no option, its move or be moved.
The wording is
“If we have not heard from you by 12noon on Tuesday 5th June, we will automatically relocate you to the best seat available and we will send you details of your new seat, together with your new payment schedule on 6th June”
A massive og by Celtic with this.
I bet you there were fans who’s club died that still got to keep their original seats with the brand new club that started up out of their assets…
This shows the price of the tickets we paid for.
Our ticket numbers removed, but this is C&P’d from the receipt for our renewals.
……. SEASON 2013-2014 209 EE 28 Adult £398.00
……. SEASON 2013-2014 209 EE 29 13-16 £105.00
Great reward from the club. I hope everyone who gets moved enjoys their new seat.
Another thought occurs to me, I hope the club don’t hike up the prices for those moved next year, i.e. £400 last season, £300 this £500 next. Something for the club and supporters to watch for.
If they are telling you to move, they cant charge you any more than your old seat would have been.

Another angle for the club is that it forces the hand of those affected to renew quickly
There was something going on last summer which led to people being slow to renew, I seem to recall……

‘If they are telling you to move, they cant charge you any more than your old seat would have been.’
Of course they can, though I doubt they will.
It might have been better if there was a wee word of explanation. Maybe even something on the website saying what was planned.
If it’s just defragmenting the crowd why not just say so.

That foto on FB is that a Celtic strip in the back ground?

That’s exactly what will happen as the Club stated this £100 reduction was a one off.
Hope I’m wrong but the only way I can see this NOT happening is if they do a full review of all season ticket prices at the end of next season.
HH
For the bhoys who have been asked to move seats. Celtic are trying to have a section which you pay at the gate.
C’mon Basel..
Funny the mention of a standing area
I was wondering were in the ground such an area would be located .The obvious place would be in the lower section of either the LL stand or JS stand but as the LL lower or upper would be too close to the away section I would rule that out .
The JS lower would be too close to the family section so would the JS upper be the most likely option
hmmmmm

I really hope the club think this through, a great gesture is only a great gesture if it is followed up. I would expect those moved to be given the choice to move back to their old seats.
I don’t think the club will try to take advantage of the support, hope not.

I’m in 439 under the plasma, great seat, looking to add another 2 this year. Will I get 5 together elsewhere? I do not want to go any lower or be subject to the weather.
I am for one, bothered about this.
HH
Got letter today as well. Crowd of us have sat in the same seats in 445 since it was built. Not happy at getting moved, will call tomorrow to see what the score is. As fourgreenfields said might get moved to a dearer seat so then you are not getting £100 off.

Can someone please tell me what “pacific shelfer” is reference to? I have seen some Sevco fans use it.

Lennons passion
cheers for the info
and if the club has to make changes to ensure the loss of ragers as our oldest rivals and prepare for other spl clubs stepping up to the plate then I,m all for it , surely a sensible stratedgy as ragers are dead no matter what the MSM puppets say and we have to find new rivals in the spl
Che
No mate I’m from further up the road
I can’t believe it at all likely Celtic would/could force change someone to a higher priced seat.
I can’t see any advantage to celtic in antagonising the loyal support.
I can imagine them wanting to make changes to improve the overall experience for supporters & improve facilities.
I don’t do the Twitter/facebook thing – was there anything about moving seats in the Q&As posted by the club?
doc is neil lennon
If their asking fans to move to another seat , I don’t think it will be for 1 season .
Wouldn’t be worth the trouble , would it ?
Palacio67, no one should be made to move against there wishes, as I said earlier, there may be a financial cost in years to come, or you just like the seats and those who sit in the area.
