Sinclair will respond overwhelmingly

563

I won’t tell you Scott Sinclair has not experienced racism until the last year, but I suspect it is highly unlikely he has had to endure the vitriolic abuse he has gone through as a Celtic player anywhere in England. He must be wondering what century he travelled to when encountering the kind of ‘people’ who celebrate their racism.

Yesterday his name and a racist slogan was pinned to a bonfire in Belfast. Humanity is weaker as a consequence.

Scott will travel to that town on Friday to play for Celtic, a game his team-mates will ensure goes the right way. What I can tell you about Scott, is that he will respond with overwhelming drive in the season ahead. Specifically, he will rip the turf up at Ibrox in September.

In view of the recent fatalities after devastating fires in England and Portugal I find it astonishing that the authorities in the North of Irl can allow mountainous bonfires some up to forty feet in height be allowed take place in built up areas. I doubt if this would be allowed in any other European country.

See Celtic have made another big signing. I’m losing track of all these new lads coming in.

You another Taig trying to undermine our kultur.

Dessybhoy- that was exactly the one which should have seen us bin the SMSM, and use our own media outlets.Tell them to stick to the subject , or pap them out.Gerry McCulloch is new Media Guy…no? But he was an OF fan, probably why he got the gig. Each and every day there is a reason for Celtic to disassociate with the Gang from Govan, they cannot rabble a ‘statement’ out, without name checking us.Tell them to get tae is my opinion mate HH

It was noticeable that as he looked around bewildered someone spoke to him from off camera and he started talking about being in the CL and why players want to be with us for that fact.

That probably annoyed the hack more than anything else.

Didn’t see any pics of Brendan so he might deploy the stare at the next press conference.

Owen- as we have watched for long and weary, they are allowed in to our house , and they pi$$ all over it.It is stage managed and they all take a turn at it.Speirs told the story of Murray, Myth only having set questions , after it the sports editors were taken aside, and told what their collective narrative would be..I remember Ledley at Glasgow Airport , to sign for us, one of the Lapdogs first questions was’ why did you not sign for Crystal Palace….’ that has always been the way. There is no reason why we cannot control our press conferences, without going into North Korea mode ala the huns, or as i said, just use CFC Media only.HH

Like manu , chelski etc – the first interview should be with Celtic TV and then given to sky, bbc etc.

Fans pay for CTV and should get some exclusives.

Our Club may feel that , under these circumstances , it would be better if Scott did not play.

Treat them with the contempt they deserve.

My ambition for the game is simply that our Club contingent and supporters leave N.I. safe and sound.

    The result is secondary.

That Reporting Scotland Chief Football Corespondent chap went all the way to Tynecastle to interview the budgie and all they talked about was a new stand.

Are there no issues in Scottish football at the moment that football fans would like to hear her opinion on? It’s not like she’s ever had any problems in the past when it comes to letting us all know what she thinks.

    Well done to all involved.

I told my wife the good news, if I’m being honest partly to justify how much time I spend on here, she has asked me to pass on her congratulations. She wondered what the criteria was, no matter the criteria, a great achievement.

  15. I am astounded of forehead that no one on here has mentioned the signing by Kilmarnock of Dom Thomas ( released ) from Motherwell. After all, on the same day as Celtic signed Olivier Ntcham from Man City for £4,500,000, the BBC online led with the Thomas story . That has now been superseded by a preview of Aberdeen`s game tomorrow.

Impartial? This selective reporting will increase in direct relation to the rate Sevco`s demise.

I’m not biting :) however you may re-call the impact Davie Hay leaving had on George Connelly , i dont think SA is as fragile a character as he was, however I understand the agent and PL don’t gell.

I like SA, but I remember Paddy Crerand et al leaving and we have survived.
