Wonderful result and a lot of grit and energy shown by Scott Brown, Mikel Lustig and Gary Hooper. Above all a wonderful show of attacking intent by our young manager. So much for parking the bus, eh Kev?
Usual nervy CQN commentary reading back, Starts with – “god, we’re rubbish- who can I blame?” and ends with “tears of joy- I never doubted that

A lot of us just had that wee feeling that said, ” We can do this.” And we bluidy did!!!

First half we looked very comfortable but our class came through.
We are a classy wee side,it gets hairy at times but we compose ourselves and build.
Great result Celtic,proud as punch!

Bring on the Barca!!
Seriously though, that result and performance tonight will have the squad buzzing. They’ll not be short on self belief for the rest of this competition after that.
Really well executed game plan with Samaras and Commons closing the space and protecting the full backs; so well that McGeady couldn’t get into the game.
Following on from the Motherwell game we can be more confident in the return to form of Izzy.
Also a mention for Lustig who was solid and composed. The inclusion of Ambrose as CB has immediately improved the team as we now has two players in the centre with recovery pace.

I thought the absence of the huns from the SPL was going to lead to us losing our edge?

Well, I doubted too. Well done to those who were confident and well done to Zbyzsek for his description of the Spartak style and danger men- spot on.
We beat a decent team, assembled with lots of money [note to Sydney :-) ] and Ari, Kallstrom and Kombarov were on the top of their game.
Stunning highly deserved victory for Celtic, inspirational signing of Efe Ambrose, magnificent team performance.

The belief in themselves is building–they not only beat Spartak, but the referee as well. I couldn’t watch added time. Took the dog round the block, put the kettle on,then refreshed CQN. That is massive. We’re back in Europe and playing football the Glasgow Celtic way. I’d love to know what the Sevco fans feel like now. I’m just glad we’re not playiny Forres Mechanics. Now there’s a tough outfit.Anybody notice a penalty shout in Forres versus Sevco? Not much talk about it.

Thought Mikael Lustig was immense tonight too.
Had my doubts about him at first but his recent performances have been top drawer. He’s now showing us why he was brought in in the first place – very versatile defender.
All in all though, just a brilliant all round team perfomance and SO SO GLAD to see SAMMI get the winner. LOVE THE GUY!!!!! Our Talisman these days that’s for sure!

People rightly praising Lustig for a great performance. Also Hooper simply cannot be overlooked for England now.
