Spartak Moscow today sacked manager Unai Emeri after a 1-5 home league defeat against eight placed Dinamo Moscow. Spartak are confirmed as bottom of Celtic’s Champions League group before they head to Celtic Park for the final game on 5 December.
Emeri has been increasingly unpopular since taking over earlier this year when his spell at Valencia ended, while rumours of dissent in the dressing room were never far away. I had hoped he would remain in place for the visit to Glasgow but there will be a new man in charge by then.
A group of around 200 supporters demonstrated after the game, many chanting for the foreign players to ‘Go home’.

Setting Free the Bears…
That’s your opinion and a very fair one too, mine is I’m 100% behind Neil based on the fact that he’s a Celtic legend learning his trade and showing great signs of promise (all we need to do is be patient), has been a Celt man and bhoy (as Del boy would say), plus the huns who would love to see the back of him are in Div 3 and we as a support surely can afford to be less critical than normal.
Main thing is I guess we’re both behind him.
Of all the football associations that are under the uefa banner, it ammounts to quite a few boys who would love a job there, but there ain’t that many jobs for the boys, but there are jobs for boys of a certain persuasion.
And the scottish fa have provided quite a few. all who have or had jobs that carry a fair bit of clout, funny that so it is.
jinkster..
Mrs BT would have dropped you off safe and sound…

More seriously when I first started in my chosen profession I was at a Union meeting on the floor when the guy speaking referred to management and something said by a “joker”. I laughed out loud thinking this was a general dig at management only to quickly realise that I was the only 1 laughing and later to learn that he actually referred to Joe Kerr.
I also know a Jack Russell…crabbit wee bitch of a dog….

now you’re taking it too far!
I’m behind Neil Lennon. He does himself no favours with outbursts like yesterday. The press are always going to jump on that.
But I’d take what he has to say anytime over the bland and tepid utterings of managers who have graduated PR school with straight ‘A’s.

no not at all, I see it as unconditional support, to earn it you need to be special, which is what I figure Neil to be

It will be interesting to see what the SFA think.
Of course they will not mention it
That is why the question should be asked.
It will also be an indication in how the SFA think and will act to the RECOMMENDATIONS that Lord Nimmo QC will provide them with in February.
The question should be asked and an official answer given.

‘the moon bhoys’ moniker comes from a line in song from David Bowie who I’m a huge fan of, nothing to do with actual moon.
I worked in a bank where a new guy started in the accounts department.
He droned on so much about his activities in the T.A. that he was nicknamed general ledger.
my mate, (I do have 1) told me the guy was not a regular in the seat, I remember Lenny arguing with a guy last year in the same area….

I sent that to a few on my contact list so don’t feel alone…. o))
There was for many years a lawyers firm in Co.Sligo called Argue and Phibbs,

Next home game in SPL is against Dundee Utd. May I suggest a ‘Stand up for Heidi Poon’ song. It’s not until 12 th December and all sorts may have come to pass by then
