Spineless, unacceptable attack on Celtic fans

619

Your reputation was dragged into the mud by Social Justice Minister, Humza Yousaf, MSP,on Twitter this morning.  He wrote:

“On upcoming Celtic Vs Rangers match, we need clear messaging from everyone that fans must stay at home. If Police intelligence tells us, despite clear messaging, that groups of fans are going to gather to square off with each other, we need to consider if game should be postponed.”

“If Police intelligence tells us groups of fans are going to square off with each other” is his technique of throwing the blanket of blame over Celtic fans to prevent him addressing the threat of further social unrest head on.  He feels safe saying adding “Celtic” instead of calling out the true problem.  It is as spineless as it is unacceptable.

Be clear: there are absolutely no plans to postpone this game and there is no police intelligence that fans will square off.  None.  What there is, is a significant threat that the problems of last weekend are repeated on 21 March.  As far as this SNP government is concerned, we dare not speak that problem’s name.

This has nothing to do with Celtic and nothing to do with Celtic fans but your government is happy to trash the reputation of both.  He is toying with the reputation of the innocent and the occasionally vulnerable young.  If a Celtic lad turned up wearing lipstick Yousaf’s head would explode.

A lead in the polls does not permit you a free kick at Celtic fans.  Social Justice Minister, give me strength, you are contemptible.

  1. Tontine Tim, I have been reading Tom Minogue’s blog over the past few days.

Hamilton was also seen a lot around the grounds of the Queen Victoria school in Dunblane for the children of service personnel. One of the housemasters at the school alleged there were unusual goings on at the school with pupils being taken away for the weekend by ‘friends of the school’.

The allegations made by the house master like those made previously by parents who stated Hamilton had behaved inappropriately with their sons, never got past the initial statements made to Central Police.

Irrespective of which party is in power in either Holyrood or Westminster , Masonic influence will be there to some extent. If anyone hasn’t seen them , watch Paul Larkin’s the Asterix years and Anybody but Celtic regarding Masonic influence.

It was originally a series about American football – seasons 1, 3 and 4 are worth watching.

Frank has now joined me on the hunger-strike. I saw the boys at Mass today which I enjoyed. Fr Toner said Mass.

Again it was a pretty boring day. I had a bit of trouble to get slopped out tonight and to get water.

I have a visit tomorrow and it will be good to see my family. I am also looking forward to the walk in the fresh air, it will tire me out, but I hope the weather is good. I must go.

  5. The odious OB act was roundly condemned on CQN.

We now have an encapsulated, enhanced and sinister replacement in the Hate Bill, yet with the exception of Paul 67 in his article, the response has been muted.

Expect more career busting dawn raids and criminalisation of young and not so young Celtic supporters.

Why would any Celtic supporter encourage this, far less vote for the instigator.?

I really don’t think people are aware of its implications going forward.

Nothing wrong with Loan players if they are off the right quality and motivated .

Xavier Sanchez Broto, Stanislav Varga,Ramon Vega,Craig Bellamy ,Henri Camara.

    All did well for Celtic.

IF WE ARE GOING DOWN THAT ROUTE

    ……………………

Im NOT sure that I agree about Broto, as I would have to be reminded how good or bad he was, but I certainly do NOT agree on Henri Camara.

During a Celtic game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie, Camara was a SUB.

Celtic were Drawing ( or maybe losing ?) to the Dons and Martin ONeill was trying to get Camara ON the Pitch. it took Camara forever to get ready etc, as Marin tried to give him instructions…

As Camara was finally ready to go on…He took OFF his Gold Necklace and handed it to Martin….If looks could kill, as Martin was disgusted with him , and immediately handed the Necklace to one of the back room staff in disgust.

MON was angry that a Celtic Sub couldnt even have himself ready to get into the action asap, and who appeared MORE concerned about his Necklace than any instructions from Martin !

I am almost sure that Camara never played for Celtic under Martin ever again ?

Camara did NOTHING to influence the game when he finally did come on.

  7. IF the game goes ahead on Sunday…I hope that someone COUNTS the number of Buses that Celtic and the Huns use to get to Celtic Park ?

I Posted about the Rugby Nations yesterday and ” How Many” Buses were they forced to use to get from their Hotels to Stadia ?

In the build up to Scotland V Ireland yesterday at Murrayfield…the BBC showed very BRIEF Clips of both Teams leaving their Bus(es)….The BBC made NO MENTION of ” How Many” Buses each that Scotland and Ireland had to use, so I can only ASSUME that each team only used the usual ONE Bus ? Again, I can only assume that if the Teams were using MORE than One Bus each, the BBC Reporter MAY have mentioned it during the Brief Clip ?

IF this was the case, again I have to ask, WHY are Celtic FC FORCED to use MORE than ONE Bus…when others dont ….maybe including the Huns in recent games ?

Mibby with such a big squad, we have to use so many Parks buses so our Board can ensure everybody working at the club gets full familiarity with knowing how to sit at the back of one…

  9. Had the misfortune to hear Red card, red card on Radio Scotland this morning. How anyone could vote for him and his party baffles me? The very idea that they might have influence in an independent Scotland frightens the life out of me.

  10. Parkheadcumslford

Agreed…..but an Independent Scotland ( which I have no problem with) with a SNP big majority Government frightens me even more !

  11. Sorry. I shouldn`t make a political comment then dart off but the Links are a-calling.

Big Jimmy…I remember the day Henri Camara signed. He had so much ‘bling’, diamond earings, necklace etc. I couldn’t help thinking he was not for us, too flash by far. Funny, I can’t remember any game he played, only the bling.

    ………………

IF I remember correctly Camara came on as a Sub on his Celtic debut for a mid week game at Celtic Park…and scored a goal, as Celts won the game by 2 or 3 goals. I cant remember who the opposition was ?

So he did well enough on his debut…but after that ?

    LOL.

At THAT game in Aberdeen…it was so obvious that Martin was RAGING with him, especially when he handed Martin his Necklace.

it annoys me when it takes ages for any Celtic Sub to come on because they dont have a Jersey on, and/or Shin Pads, Tape for Socks etc….never mind STILL wearing Jewellery. If these Guys spent more time Training and Practice instead of at some Hairdressers or Tattoo Shop, it mat actually make them better Players than they actually think they are ?

IF I was the Celtic Manager and found that any of my Subs were NOT ready for action straight away…I would be likely to tell them…” Forget it Son…you had your chance, just sit back doon again” !

    Rant over.

    Independent Scotland?

Question 1.Give us one solid economic reason why Scotland should be independent?

I KNOW you can’t – simply because there isn’t one….if there was the SNP cult would be shouting it from the rooftops.

Question 2. Why would you want you downgrade the standard of living of the population of Scotland?

The SNP cult’s own Growth Commission forecasts at least ten years of a negative/stagnant economy, with services cut & taxes rising to try to balance the books in a de-facto bankrupt country out of it’s biggest market in the UK – no prospect of entering an EU still recovering from Covid & with a national debt two & a half times GDP, a new currency, no central bank….and most UK commercial, industrial & financial sectors relocating in the UK.

Is supposedly giving the Ibrox legions ‘one in the eye’ really worth the carnage? This is the almost unbelievable reason that a sizeable chunk of the Celtic support and their families vote SNP…how utterly stupid can people be?
